Support, comfort - These shoes were for my husband, whose old New Balance walkers were old & very worn. He walks 2 miles everyday and he loves these new walkers by New Balance. This man is not easy to please. He loves them.

This is my third pair of these shoes, I just love them; don't have to break them in because of the wide with. Highly recommend!!! Comfort lasts for the life of the shoe.

An outstanding replacement for the 925 - I wore the 925 for years and was always a happy user. However, this shoe is an outstanding replacement and actually feels better.

Frankenstein "boots" For walking only; much too cumbersome for running. Wider-than-usual soles promise good traction. If you are undecided whether to purchase a 2E or a 4E, take the 2E. The 2E is quite roomy.

Great - Great one of the best so far. I'm thinking about a 2nd pair. Though the lacing seems a little loose. But I’m getting use to it. Great shoe so far!

The Good, the Good, and the Ugly - The Good: I'm a fifty-year-old guy committed to a fitness-walking program and wanted the best shoes available that didn't look like sneakers. All my research led to the NB MW926. Ordered black 8.5 4E's Tuesday, and was walking in them Wednesday. Zappos is the best. The Good Part 2: Perfect fit, perfect width, a superb shoe. Improved my gait, increased my distance, does exactly what it's supposed to do. The Ugly: It's how you look at these things, but to me MW926's bear a striking resemblance to footwear adorned by Frankenstein's monster. Like a vintage running shoe molded atop a two-inch rubber platform. Wearing these at my office would be as appropriate as wearing flip-flops. Summary: Is this a great walking shoe? Yes. Will I buy another pair? Hmmmm, I'm hoping New Balance unveils a new ChiWalking shoe first. If cell phones can make movies and cars can park themselves, why can't we get great walking shoe that looks like a Bostonian?

Just Perfect... First of all, I was amazed at how quickly the shoes were delivered. I took the shoes out of the box, put them on and went on my way. No break in period at all. I am very pleased with the look and feel of the New Balance MW926

Good shoes - I have trouble with my feet and it took a little while to get them broken in.

New Balance Comes Thru - As an arthritic diabetic, I have a bit of difficulty finding good-looking, comfortable, functional shoes. Over the past two years, I've increasingly turned to New Balance for shoes that are comfortable for walking, standing and driving, reasonable in weight, and attractive. This is my second pair of MW926s in an 11 1/2, 4E, white. This is the shoe I turn to when my feet are swollen or tired, and I wanted a second pair to put away until the first pair (now a year old) wear out. They look good, and are particularly practical for long overseas plane flights.

First time buyer - I wear a 14 narrow, which is hard to find. I wanted a good walking shoe as I have knee and back problems. This is my first pair of New Balance. The shoe is great, light, good fit, great support for my back and knee.

At last - I finally found a well made shoe, which is wide enough for comfort, deep enough, for orthotics and stylish enough. The doctors at the shoe clinic in the veteran’s hospital recommend this shoe they wore them and showed me the shoe’s wide base. This shoe has helped me walk further and faster with less pain. The day after my visit to the hospital I ordered this shoe through Zappos received the correct color the correct size with free delivery within 24hours I plan on ordering two more pairs. Thanks.

I bought these shoes for my trip to Paris and Florence last December. I knew I was going to be walking several miles each day going to museums, cafes, and so forth. I needed a shoe that was going to stand up to the task. I tried on Keens, Mephisto's, Clarks, Ecco’s, and others, but nothing felt nearly as good and right as these. I am a 42 year old, professional, stylish male. I really like shoes. I own the grey suede 926s. At first, I thought they looked slightly "old mannish" but once I put these on my feet...WOW! What comfort! What support! What pleasure! These shoes were the right choice for me. I wore these shoes with Lucky Jeans, a Patagonia jacket, and thin cashmere sweaters. I felt perfect walking the grey, chilly cobblestone streets of Paris and the beautiful old narrow streets of Florence. Do yourself a favor, get these shoes. You can make them look cool and different. You won't be disappointed.

Good shoe - These shoes have good arch support and cushioning. I ended up going a 1/2 size larger. I'll never understand why shoe designers can't give arch support without raising the heel height, which then puts too much pressure on your toes and foot "pad." Great stabilizing shoe helps keep my feet 'straight.' And Zappos is awesome!

Fast- Talked one day, walked the next day. If I need shoes tomorrow I can order today. Referred you to over a dozen people.

Comfortable - Ordered 2E and had to exchange for 4E. Hard to fit feet. These shoes are very comfortable. Ordered 2 more pairs. Zappos provides amazing service!

New Balance MW926 - I am very happy with my purchase and the shoes are very comfortable. I bought this pair specifically because I walk a lot, about 5 miles every day. I did find the double EE size, which I normally wear, was too wide which I exchanged easily with Zappos for a smaller width.

Comfort, Comfort, Comfort - My husband and I both have this shoe. After a month or two of wearing it, my foot pain left (I had foot pain for years), so I recommended it to my husband - he now has two pair, one for work, one for casual wear. Maybe the look could be sleeker, but for the comfort we get, it does not matter how this shoe looks. We have tried a lot of brands of this type of shoe - this is the best.

Great walking shoe - I am a 12 B... This shoe fits my feet perfectly, very comfortable walking shoe, light and springy feel. Arch support is substantial and is properly positioned. Feels like I am walking on air. Helps my knees which can sometimes be a problem. Highly recommended.

New Balance MW926 - I spend around 5 hours a day walking at work. My 2 old pairs of shoes (Clarks and Wolverine) and a relatively new pair of Mozo’s (including inserts) were really killing my feet so I thought that it was time for an investment. I had heard that New Balance were top rated for support and comfort, so I purchased 2 pairs of the MW926's (one black, one brown). My feet couldn't be happier! Actually, I feel that they are correcting any problems that the old shoes had created.

Sharp Looking COMFORTABLE Shoes - This is my second pair of MW926 shoes...The first pair was so good for my feet, I turned them into work shoes...So I got another pair to keep nice for trips to town, etc.. I love you Zappos...So glad I found you online!

Good Shoe for orthotic - After trying on various other brands, found that these shoes worked well with an orthotic insert. Excellent service from Zappos-received shoes in less than 24 hours from order time. Thanks Zappos.

Walking Shoe Supreme - Excellent shoe. Very short and smooth break-in. Recommend to anyone who is comfortable in a New Balance product.

Great shoe - Very comfortable, no break in period. I have bad arches and these shoes are very comfortable and I have had no problem not wearing my arch supports.
