Great Shoes - These shoes fit perfectly out of the box... in fact one of the best fitting shoes I've ever had. I walk a lot during the day and my feet feel heavenly throughout the day... 5 stars from me!!!!

Nice Shoe - Nice shoe, could have been wider

I love this shoe - This is a true hiking shoe. It feels more like the quality of a hiking boot than a shoe. None of that nylon-mesh here. This is an all-leather water proof shoe. The New Balance sole is very comfortable. The shoe was a bit wider than expected but fits well.

I really like it - When I first received the shoes I loved the look and feel. The second day, and for the next few, it took some breaking in and readjusting to get then to be completely comfortable. It may just be me because my feet are hard to fit anyway. Overall I would definitely say they are worth the money.

New Balance Field Shoe - I will be taking this shoe with me as my main shoe to use on a vacation to South Africa - both in the Kruger National Park as well as in Cape Town. It has been great breaking in - very comfortable - and good looking too.

Great Shoe! They look great and they feel great. That is all I can say. I have had other models similar, but they are the best.

My husband loves it - With long, narrow, flat feet, my husband loves this shoe because it not only looks great, but it does for his feet what he needs to have a comfortable fit.

Great shoe - I really like the fit of these New Balance MW965!!! Very comfortable. I am on my feet and walk quit a bit during the day and they are extremely comfortable. Great buy. They look good too.

A great fit - This shoe fit just perfectly and so very comfortable right from the start.

Great shoe, feels right, I have a very wide foot (6E with some shoes).

Select the next largest size - I am a 12.5 so I wear a 13 in most shoes -- the NB 14 is just a little large but I feel that the 13 would have been too small.

JOSE ALVAREZ - Awesome shoe. The fit, the look, the price and waterproof. There was comment about the size variation. I got the 9 and it was true to size for me. Very comfortable. I will buy another pair for the future!

Nice Shoe - The shoe is very nice, and even a little wider than some 4E shoes I have worn. It is quite warm, which will be a plus in many occasions, but I may use a cooler shoe for some summer hiking.

Excellent buy! I bought these shoes for my husband, he loves them! The quality is outstanding and the look is rich. He has had so many compliments on them. It is the best money I have ever spent on shoes!

...if only it came in black! All of my New Balance shoes feel pretty much the same: perfect for me. The width (I wear 4E), size, flexibility and walkability are wonderfully consistent. The MW965 is light and sturdy, truly waterproof and comfortable in all seasons, with socks or not. Although I'm baffled by how the company comes up its color combinations, I'm sold on their research, development and quality control. Their shoes are Hondas for my feet.

Rugged Good Looks (just like me) This is a great shoe. This is my third pair and I abused them, throw them in the washing machine, & ware them to work on Monday. Like a glove on my feet. One area NB could improve... you need tougher laces, these generally snap in the first 3 months.

Walking Shoe - This is a moderate weight shoe very comfortable for wearing long periods of time.

Nice shoes. Sturdy construction. The tongue seems to be a little short for me. The laces sometimes fall behind the tongue. Top eyelets make it more difficult to lace tightly.

Great Shoes but a Little Hot for Summer - Purchased these for an Ireland Scotland trip. The waterproofing and comfort should work fine. In breaking them in though they make my feet very hot (about 90 here) so I would not recommend them for a lot of summer use.

Good shoe, but not waterproof - I bought these shoes thinking I was getting a good waterproof walking shoe. I found out the first time I used them that they were not even close to being waterproof. Even a moderate amount of dew on the grass will eventually soak through. Other than that, the shoe is a good dry weather walker.

Waterproof? Tested shoes in high wet grass (firm sandy ground) with fresh pair of clean dry socks. After 15 min. walk had wet toes. Water came in through top of toe box. Waterproofed with mink oil. Shoes now are darker and look better in my opinion.

Balance MW965 - Most of the reviews I read were "dead on". I should have paid more attention to the width section. It definitely is narrower than marked. I don't know if ordering the next wider width would be too wide, but I am getting along with it. Once it's on it feels great. Very comfortable to walk in and stand in all day.

You can't have it all! I’ve had these shoes for about four or five months. The good: 1. Good winter shoe for rain and snow (nothing extreme). 2. Look good. 3. Good durability for daily walking (again nothing extreme). 4. Never had water enter the shoe. 5. Good traction The bad: 1. The shoe does not breathe. 2. Long break in period. 3. Expensive. 4. Fairly heavy. 5. As soon as I get home from work I put on my Asics walkers. Bottom Line: This is a good product for daily walking in cooler and wet environments you may encounter. They are comfortable, but there are shoes that are much more comfortable and lighter. Softer leather would have made it perfect. I like to move my toes freely.

Great shoe, but it doesn't breathe - Love the fit, and style, but your dogs get pretty sweaty after a bit. I attribute it to its waterproofness. Still, a great shoe.

Size 15AA Lament - If this shoe came in my proper size, I would be in foot heaven. As it is, the heel (most important for fit) is snug with one insert. Toe room is very generous with potential for blisters but not a show stopper. Light, comfortable so far (1 month). My responses below should include the above.
