Great shoe- Had mine for about 9 months, it is a great shoe, there is very little signs of wear and I wear them all the time. Very comfortable.

Nice!! At first felt a little small but after day one, right on the mark. I purchased these to walk around in the mud of Iraq so far so good. So I purchased a 2nd pair to have at home.

New Balance for working - I have troubled feet from working in construction for 41 years and these shoes helped my feet tremendously. I have tried dozens of brands. Keep shoe trees in them when not in use and change the insole to keep them fresh.

Overall a good shoe - I am happy with my purchase of this shoe. Although I have purchased many New Balance shoes I can see where some people may find it slightly shorter than what they might normally expect. I also agree with the reviewer who stated that the tongue seems too short, barely long enough to properly tie the shoe. Another thing I found was that the shoe is high on the sides and sits right under my ankle bones to the point that I feel it and is somewhat annoying (this no doubt will go away once I break the shoe in and become used to it). All in all however I am happy with it and would recommend it.

Perfect fit, perfect service - The New Balance walkers, MW965, fit perfectly - snug at the heel with adequate room at the ball and toe. The size, 11, was true. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box with no break-in period required. Zappos had them in my hands three days after I cut the order - I wish every mail order enterprise could figure out Zappos' business model.

NEW SHOE REVIEW - I have worn New Balance for many years. I have had foot surgeries plus many inherited foot problems. I am on my feet all day at my job. Couldn't do it without my New Balance collection of shoes.

Great fit, look, and comfort - This was for a big man (size 13 extra extra wide) and he loves the fit and comfort and they look great too.

Great shoe - My husband generally wears a 10 1/2 wide, we bought these 11 triple wide and he loves them except for a squeak when he walks across tiled floors. So, I'm marking them smaller in size and width. They look good, too!

Find of a Lifetime - I have searched a long time for this type of shoe, and to my utter delight, found it at Zappos! Other online sites could not fill the order because of the extra wide (4E) width I wear. New Balance has done it again with a comfortable, well made shoe. I primarily will use this item as an alternative to a full hunting boot. Zappos delivers with their fast delivery service, and no shipping & return fees.

Nice Shoes - These shoes are comfortable and required no significant break in period. They felt narrow when first put on, but stretched to a comfortable fit within two wearings. I walk a lot (one hour per day) and these shoes are very comfortable and caused no blisters or irritations.

New Balance near boots - Boot wearing husband loved these. Very comfortable and felt good right out of the box. Look great with jeans. Thanks.

This shoe is very good. It looks great, and feels great. I hope they don't change them. So I'm thinking to buy another pair.

Very Comfortable Shoes for Walking - I walk a lot and have narrow feet, but comfortable shoes are to find. These are great. They are a bit heavier than the lightest sneakers, but it's worth it because of the excellent support. Waterproof is good too. Highly recommended.

I've been wearing a pair of NB 608s for the past several years and have been reluctant to buy a replacement pair since the 608s have been such a great shoe! However, I wish I had given in a bought these shoes much sooner. The 965s are everything I love about the 608s and more. Plus, when the weather is nasty I can wear these shoes to work (casual office environment). My only observation is that I had to go a 1/2 size larger than my beloved 608s however Zappos made the exchange process ever so painless!

Great shoe! I'm very happy with the shoes and the service I received from Zappos. They expedited the shoes at no extra charge, and were exactly what I wanted. This is an excellent walking or hiking shoe. The traction is great.

Great (Non) Tennis Shoe - Super comfortable. Very Light. At 12B it looks a little long and boaty but I'm stuck with that. I needed it to work in all day and still have somewhat dress look esp. with shorts.

Great outdoor shoe - I read all the reviews and followed the general opinion to order these wider and they fit perfect. I ordered them in the EE and they were perfect. They are slightly waterproof and still breathe. Great shoe to combat the morning dew and still keep the feet cool in the summer.

Awesome shoe. I was expecting a well made and comfortable shoe. I've been pleased with New Balance shoes in the past. I was not prepared for the superior build quality, fit and comfort of the MW965. The best I've ever worn. No kidding. And I'm 63; I've worn a few shoes. Some details I like: instead of eyelets, the top two levels of laces go through smooth metal guides which make the laces very easy to tie, and I only need to untie the shoe to be able to slip it off. It's not necessary to unlace at all. They are on the heavy side for a walking shoe, but the waterproof build and seeming bullet-proof construction make the extra weight worthwhile. I have quickly forgotten the weight because these shoes are so cushy and comfortable. They're the best! Oh, and they have a wide toe box which is crucial for my comfort.

Love'em!!! The shoes are narrower than sized. But I knew that going in because of the reviews. I have a fat foot and have a hard time buying shoes so I got the 4E’s. They fit well. I really love the shoes. They are very comfortable and great for walking. They also look great!

Ahhhhhhhhh nice - New Balance makes a comfortable shoe, and gives us wide widths... they are a little "doofy", but will do nicely in the NW weather. Of course getting it from Zappos makes ALL the difference.

Yah baby - Love these shoes. Comfortable right out of the box. Size 15ee hard to find. Typical Zappos delivered them to my door within 48 hours for FREE. (Love that) I'm a really big guy, 6'5 and well over 300 pounds. Basically a big ole tub of goo. I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis in my right heel. Very painful but these shoes really helped me out. Great padding. Like another poster said they are a little bit warm but not too bad. I wear them to work (casual dress) and sometimes slip them off in the afternoon for a few minutes. Seem to be well made and they are waterproof. Again, I'm very happy with these.

Excellent walking shoe. I wear a 15 narrow shoe size and was looking for a pair of shoes or boots that I could use for day hikes and walking. These fit my foot well and are great for the purpose.

True Hiker - True to size & very easy to walk in, lots of support looking forward to trying on long hike.

New Balance running narrow - I've owned several very similar pairs of New Balance shoes over the past decade and until now have enjoyed them all, especially because I have a wide foot and a narrow heel. It's one of the few walking shoes in a 4E width. But either my feet are getting even wider or New Balance has changed lasts, for the last two pairs have been too narrow and pinch my foot. I'm now looking for a different manufacturer and I think Rockport fits better.
