A 5-star review - My chiropractor suggested these shoes, they're wonderful. My job requires me to be on my feet consistently...lots of support...I’m on my second pair…so old pair I wear when I’m working in the yard...wonderful shoe!

Plantar fasciitis help - After many painful months of treatment with plantar fasciitis in my heel, I changed styles of New Balance shoes (767) and could finally work all day without pain. I had been reduced to wearing Crocs, with my orthotics, but they did not offer the support I needed. Although these shoes look like shoe boxes, they are really helping me walk again without pain.

Great pair of shoes - I bought these for my daughter and she really loves them very much. I would recommend to everyone to purchase this shoe for anyone that works while standing.

Great shoe! I ordered the NB WW926 for daily walks and it's fantastic. This is a very stable comfortable shoe and feels like I'm walking on a cloud. I ordered the grey version and have received compliments on them. This is the first NB I have tried and I'm well pleased.

Worth every penny - I have a very high arch and fairly wide (D) foot with an old case of plantar fasciitis. It's very hard for me to find proper fitting and comfortable shoes that give me the support that I need. These shoes fit the bill. The toe box is nicely wide enough and the arch support doesn't need any supplementation. I bought 2 pairs so that I can alternate days wearing them. I hope that they're still available in a year when it will be time to replace them.

Comfort heaven - I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe is a true blessing. A bit warm for summer months in Florida but roomy enough to accommodate an orthodic device and very good looking as well!

Comfort! I walk 4 miles every day and didn't realize how worn out my old shoes were until I walked in my new ones - the New Balance 926. I have a new spring in my step!

Excellent support. I stand at a counter all day. Love the shoe. However, as with other New Balance shoes, the leather has a dull finish that does not look attractive.

Comfy but boxy-looking - After reading others' reviews I had to try these, as I have a lot of trouble finding a shoe that doesn't kill me. I ordered my normal size and ended up returning for a full size larger. Most of the shoes I try supposedly have 'excellent' arch support, few of them have good enough support for high arches, and these actually do. If you don't have a high instep, these would actually be uncomfortable for you. Roomy toe box, although they rub part of my big toe even though the larger size is almost too big and the shoes are wider than most I've bought. (As with most companies today who have all their goods made in China, there are quality issues.) The toe box is very high, but the way it cuts off the outside tip of the big toe makes it 'collapse' in the same spot on each shoe, which looks goofy. Not sure yet if I'm keeping these because of the toe issue, but the rest of the shoe feels great. Pretty clunky-looking in such a large, wide size, too, and I shouldn't need such a large, wide size. Hmm. As usual, Zappos is awesome, though!

New Balance WW926 - These are the first shoes I can stand up in and when my foot spreads out, there's room! However, I am having trouble with my big toe being rubbed by the top of the shoe. I may need to stick to the "added room" shoes. I wear them with thinner type socks, so it isn't the sock. Also, these shoes are VERY heavy. They are not as comfortable for that reason. I feel like I have 5 pounds on each foot. All in all, I have still to get used to them.

New Balance delivers! I suffer from plantar fasciitis and tendonitis. To add insult to injury I also have a bunion. From the first moment that I put on this beautiful sneaker, I was in love. It is fashionable looking, roomy and absolutely heavenly!!! Anyone suffering from foot problems needs to check it out. It is definitely worth every penny with or without the need for an orthodic insert.

Marvelous shoe!!!!! From the moment I put these shoes on I knew they were different. It was so easy to walk in them. I have bad knees and feet and I can walk almost pain free! Thank you. I'm going to order the black ones now.

Fine shoe - Gives lots of ankle support and makes it easy to walk on rocky surfaces.

I'm so happy!!!!! After several knee surgeries over a year's time, my feet have changed drastically. I've had a horrible time finding any kind of shoe to fit. I saw these and read all of the good reviews and decided to try them...I'm so happy to have found a shoe that fits and feels comfortable to walk in...And still looks good. I just ordered them in black too.

Cloud walking - What an amazing shoe. I have orthotics but don't even need to use them in this shoe. They are truly like walking on clouds.

Excellent walking shoe - I have had knee replacements and arthritis in my ankles and hips and back. These shoes are extremely comfortable right out of the box. I am a confirmed believer in New Balance. I've had many pairs.

Work shoe - As a registered nurse, these shoes are fab. They look good with all my scrubs (in generic white). They are very supportive and conducive to all the walking I do. I do still need an extra arch support for my plantar fasciitis.

Great shoe and value - Like walking on a cloud! Very comfortable and supportive right out of the box.

Bad Feet GREAT shoes - I am a nurse and work on my feet all day. I have really bad feet (heel spurs, plantar fasciitis), so bad that at the end of the day I can hardly walk. These shoes are amazing! In 2 days my feet were changed. I worked and could still walk at the end of the day. In fact it hardly felt like I had worked at all! I will be getting another pair.

Bad feet find comfort – I have very bad feet, heel spurs, tarsal tunnel, and nerve damage in my toes and no padding on my heel bone. These shoes help me a lot. I can stand for long periods and still be able to walk the next day. It’s amazing! I love them and recommend them to all.

Great shoe - I have a very high arch and one foot is wider than the other. It took me a couple of days of extensive research to find the right shoe. I ordered a couple of other brands with no success. I sent them right back (GREAT SERVICE) I kept getting this shoe in my research and thought "oh my, are they UGLY" well I got them! I ordered them in gray, which was a good choice! They are very comfortable and do not look as bad as I thought they would!

The perfect shoe for me! I work in a hospital - standing all day - my knees were becoming very painful. This shoe saved me from having to go part-time or quitting, which I did not want to do. Since I received my shoes, I have no knee pain. The shoes provide tremendous support and awesome comfort. The only thing I had to get used to was the bulky look. But, the benefits of this shoe overshadow the look.

Very happy - Large Toe Box which is what I was looking for. No problems wearing for extended times right out of the box. Looks a little clunky but fits very well, great support, true to size.

Great walking shoe - I work for the police dept. and I walk about 20-30 miles a day and these shoes are the best. I took them out or the box and put them on no breaking in needed. I would recommend these shoes to anyone who does a lot of walking.

Recommended by my orthopedic surgeon - I tried to find this shoe locally, but it was either on backorder or not in stock (depending on color choice). This is my second calcaneal surgery and my surgeon said this shoe has a built-in rocker bottom. The shoe provides stability and firm support. I have special foot needs so I've added some extra cushioning and arch support. Like other reviewers, I find this shoe very masculine looking. However, it is extremely well made, worth the money and has been beneficial in advancing my recovery and gait. I order the gray shoe and I also changed the white shoe laces to gray. I hope New Balance reads these reviews and will come up with some way to make such a stable shoe more feminine and updated. I was injured at a young age and I'd like to be able to wear a more updated version of this shoe.
