Ideal walking shoe - The NB 926 is more comfortable than my two NB 843's. My NB 843's broke down near the big toe joint after a few months, and the result of mesh and leather losing shape causes a lot of pain. I thought I'd try a shoe with all leather and no mesh. Glad I did! It took one week to break them in. My narrow heel slipped a little at first, but that problem went away. Thanks to all the reviewers here who highly recommend this particular shoe. It's not the prettiest shoe around, but I'll choose comfort over looks any day of the week.

New Balance WW926 - These shoes easily accommodate orthotics even if you have a high instep.

Fits Right - I am so glad to finally found a shoe that will fit my wide foot even after a long distance flight. It took a lot of trial and error to find the right pair but with Zappos super return policy there was no problem. So thanks to all the choices and the feedback. My feet and bunions are happy.

Best walking shoe I ever owned - I am a 50 year old diabetic who has "very" wide feet and arthritis in the toes leaving bumps on top of them. I have worn New Balance shoes for a long time now, but still could never get a shoe to fit well, that didn't cause toe pain. They make this shoe in an E width! Most comfortable shoe I have had on my feet in a LONG time. I walk about 2 or more miles most days after working all day on my feet. What a joy to walk in cushion comfort, with excellent support, and no pinching in the toes. I don't mind the looks at all like some of the reviews stated. They make my feet look short.

NB Walking Shoe - I ordered this shoe in white and liked them so much ordered another pair. They are great if you have heel or ankle problems.

Sturdy, comfortable and great for orthotics - I really love this shoe. I have weak ankles and no arch, and use this shoe with my orthotics. I had no aching feet after I wore them all day; that is really saying something. I would recommend these shoes to anyone, but especially to people who need a really sturdy, comfortable shoe to use with his/her orthotics.

Couldn't live without these - How wonderful these are available in gray now! I've contentedly worn this style every day for years - always have a pair in both white (perfect for spring & summer) and black (winter) - but somehow they seem to look a little "off" with jeans in the fall. I only wish the laces were gray, too. Would be terrific if Zappos would add laces to their inventory!

New Balance - These shoes are wonderful. I needed new shoes for walking and these are perfect. The others I had would give me blisters when I used a treadmill and these are as comfortable at the end of my walk as at the beginning. I also find them reasonably attractive for an athletic shoe. I love the full rounded toe box of NB shoes as they prevent any uncomfortable pressure on my toes the way a more slanted toe box would. The roll bar is also a nice feature. I didn't really think anything of it until I had the shoes on and noticed the additional stability.

926 Walking Shoe - After spending just as much if not more on inexpensive sneakers for work that just weren't comfortable I finally got these. What a difference! Since I stand all day on a tiled concrete floor I need shoes that perform. These do. At the end of the day I walk with some pep instead of hobbling along. Worth every penny.

Walking Shoes - I personally love these shoes and mostly New Balance. They feel great, look great and I feel that they are a good buy at their price and as usual, you can not complain about Zappos service; they are Number One in my book!

Great supportive shoe - Great shoe, very comfortable and well padded... I have very wide, hard to fit feet and these shoes worked well for me. Helped relieve heel pain, a little stiff in the beginning, but have broken in well. They were a bit big and clunky looking, but they do feel great even after a long day!

Very comfy - I am a 53 year old hairdresser who has been doing hair for 35 years and now work on a concrete floor (first time). The concrete is hard on the legs, feet, etc. and these shoes have been great for that. I can wear them all day long and my feet don't hurt. I usually wear orthotics in my shoes but haven't had to put them in these yet. I highly recommend them and will buy another pair again. Please don't discontinue them.

GREAT SHOES - These shoes are very comfortable. They seem to be a little wider than normal shoes which is exactly why I ordered them. Several other reviewers stated this. I needed a good walking shoe for daily exercise. These certainly work!

A LOT of shoe - I have a wide forefoot, a high instep (which collapses when I stand on it, creating a flat foot), double knee replacements, blah blah. Enormous trouble finding shoes that don't hurt. I wear orthotics, of course. This shoe is comfortable. It looks like I am wearing the box it came in, but it is comfortable. Very cushioned, roomy toe box. I would recommend this to anybody with similar problems as the shoe to wear whenever style is not an issue and you don't mind being mistaken for the mailman. I love Zappos, but wish you carried Merrells.

I love my New Balance 926 shoes - I have had plantar fasciitis for about 5 years, trying everything other than surgery, with not much relief. My foot doctor suggested getting a new walking shoe (higher than new balance 575), which I generally bought. I ordered the 926 from zappo.com and received them in less than 24 hours. My feet are so much better, I can hardly believe it! I walk all day at work, and I am virtually pain free. I don't wear the orthotics anymore. They always hurt my feet anyway. As soon as I can I am ordering more of these.

RELIEF AT LAST! Although this is not the most stylish shoe available, it is the most sensible for waitressing long hours! I have narrow heels, a wide toe box, and neuroma’s...and this shoe accommodates all three wonderfully without any orthotics in a size 8 1/2 2E. I have purchased extra pairs knowing that they will serve me well for many years as I serve others!

The greatest - I have purchased this shoe six times for the support and comfort while working in a school cafeteria. Most of my co workers use this shoe also. Once you use them there will be no other shoe to work in.

New Balance 926 walking shoe - This shoe has a very sturdy heel base which is what I needed. It accommodates orthotics well. It is a bit wider than I thought it would be but I just wear thicker socks.

Best shoe - This is probably my 8th or 9th pair of these shoes. They are the only athletic style shoe I buy now. I always have a pair of black ones and a pair of white ones.

Comfy... I knew these shoes were the best from the first time I used these shoes at the gym. I have wide feet, and was forever pre-bandaging spots here and there before using other "wide" running shoes, to prevent blisters. No more band aids before using these shoes, they were great from the start.

Great Support. Excellent walking shoe. I have to put orthotics in my shoes, this usually requires taking out the insole. However, in this shoe it was not necessary. This makes wearing them more comfortable.

Use them for work shoes - On my feet for twelve+ hours. These are my third pair. Real nice shoes.

Great buying experience - I just found your website. What a blessing. I was looking because a catalog I often buy from was out of stock of the New Balance 926 and I knew that was what I wanted. Your website was easy to navigate. I found the shoe in stock in no time at all. And then you offered the overnight free shipping. It was just great. The shoes are just what I expected. The extra toe room and the slim heel were selling points for me and I was definitely not disappointed. I am about to go on a trip requiring lots of walking and these will probably be the only daytime shoes I wear. Thanks and I am sure I will be using your services again!

Love it - I have been trying all summer to find a walking shoe that fit and at last I have succeeded. I love this shoe. It does feel a bit on the wide side, I usually wear a wide but have to return it for a medium and it is perfect.
