Good support - I wear these in white for my job at a medical office. They are definitely sturdy and hold my feet in a postural correct position. They look ok...a little like old-person orthopedic shoes.

Orthotics - I use orthotics and these shoes are great. This is my second pair, the first pair lasted three years. I don't like the look but the comfort is worth it.

Comfortable shoe for tender feet... I have a hard time finding good shoes that could be ordered in wide sizes, so I was happy to find a site that had many to choose from. Zappos fit the bill. Still, a few pair had to be returned because they weren’t wide enough. I decide to find an especially good walking shoe instead, and this shoe ended up being the most comfortable shoe I've worn in years. They actually makes me want to go out and take a walk! I feel light on my feet and the cushioning makes me feel like I'm walking on air. I can't say enough good about the feel. Now for the downside... If you are self conscious about your feet looking big, these are not for you. The soles spread out on the sides and the heel area (which I am sure add to the comfort) making my feet look huge. Add to that that they are sparkling new white, and you can see my feet from across the street. However, these are athletic shoes that are designed for comfortable walking and this they achieve brilliantly.

Good shoes, but small - I really like my shoes, but it seems they come small. I usually order 7 1/2 EE, but I had to send them back and get 8 1/2 EE. Other than the size, they are great. I am walking 4 miles a day, and they seem to be holding up ok.

I have purchased the New Balance Shoe for over 7 years. This is a great shoe. My only concern is that it is slippery when walk way is wet.

My shoe width is EEEE, and these feel a bit narrow. I can't wear them as long as some other shoes--just all day and then I need to take them off in the evening. They have terrific cushioning and support and keep me from rolling my foot over. The padding that New Balance puts on the inside of the heel always wears out very quickly, it seems. The rest of the shoe will be fine, but there will be chunks of foam missing inside the heel.

Pretty comfy shoes - I got these shoes for work and stand up a lot. Very comfortable. I liked the cushioning and the stability bar, which helps keep my balance. I would definitely buy these shoes again. The look is a little ortho at times, but I wear a longer hem, and they look just fine.

Having never owned a pair of New Balance before, I did not know what to expect. I thought these shoes fit perfectly when I first tried them on. However, after taking my first walk in them, I developed a heel blister. Used band-aids for several more walks. It took about 3 hours of walking to break them in, but now they feel fine. They are kind of clunky looking, but most shoes of this type are. I have inserted my own orthotics into these shoes, so I cannot comment on the arch support.

I ordered these boots in brown and they are great. Really comfortable, I danced all night in them at a party. They look great with jeans, as well as sweater dresses and tights. Overall, a great buy.

It is all leather except the sole. It is a very sturdy feeling shoe. It works fine with an orthotic. The shoe being all leather is a heavy shoe. My feet do not hurt after walking 2 miles in them. I wish they made them in the 4 As or 3 As.

It was suggested to me to buy this shoe to wear with an orthotic. The shoe is comfortable without the orthotic, but not with… it feels too small.

Practical but my size. Because I have health issues and problems with my feet, it is necessary for me to buy supportive shoes that are not usually fashionable. My shoe size is 5 1/2 double wide and impossible to buy anywhere. I have been buying shoes that were not my size and being uncomfortable as my size has not been available to me. I recently have found Zappos.com and was surprised to see 5 1/2 double wides listed. I figured when I tried to order I would be told that size was not available. That did not happen. Then my shipping was ungraded at no extra cost to me which I thought was very nice of Zappos to do.

Great shoe for narrow, flat feet - I have narrow and flat feet. After several knee surgeries and years of chronic lower back pain, my chiropractor suggested a New Balance shoe for walking - numbered at least 800. After reviewing the other comments about many shoes on Zappos.com, I selected the 926. I am pleased with this choice, although the heel on one shoe slips a little. I ordered 9.5 N. I will wear a thicker sock on the foot with heel slippage. No more back pain, much better posture and can walk at a faster pace. Thanks, Zappos, for making the customer reviews available!

Stable walking shoe - VERY stable wide walking shoe with solid "wedge"-like sole. Feels truer to size than previous New Balance shoes owned - I ordered the usual half size up & wider, but probably would have preferred my "normal" size (will wear with heavier sox). Lots of cushion for pavement or paths, but not a "country" walking shoe (not a lot of traction).

Helpful shoe - I have Morton's Neuroma, so I purchased this shoe to help me be comfortable enough to get walking again. I believe it does provide the support needed to ease the pain, however, I find that it runs slightly narrow. It does look orthopedic, but that is a small price to pay for some comfort.

New Balance Review - The shoes were purchased to fit my swollen foot that was recovering from bunion surgery. The shoes were 1/2 size longer and wider than my usual shoes. They fit my foot perfectly. The only thing I wish the shoe had was more of an arch support. They will be good walking shoes for me.

Bring back the 925 - This is one of the best on the market right now, but it is not as good as the shoe it replaced, the 925. Please New Balance, bring back the 925. Until then, this is all we have...The 925 is 5 stars. The shoe is wide in the heel.

Zappos customer service is the best! After returning two pair of 965s that were too narrow, I ordered two pair of the 926s in wide and x-wide. Though I usually wear a regular wide D width, the x-wide fit my orthotics and foot better. Though not as stylish as the 965 country walkers, these shoes do not squeeze my foot and are tall enough to accommodate the orthotics. Zappos was GREAT with the multiple ordering and return processes. They truly are powered by service!!!

New BALANCE - I enjoyed shopping at Zappos. I found what I wanted and ordered it. Didn't have to drive anywhere. It was quick, fast and easy. Will purchase again from Zappos.

New Balance WW926 - As usual, a great comfortable pair of shoes. I'm not 100% sure about them because when I put them on the first time the top rubbed against my ankle a little bit. I'm going to try them again before I decide whether or not to exchange them. Once again, Zappos comes through, giving you plenty of time to decide and return if necessary. I love New Balance and am spoiled by perfect comfort when I wear their shoes. I'm also glad that they are toning down the look - you can get a one-color shoe without a big logo screaming on it.

NB WW926 walking shoe - I needed a supportive walking shoe and because I hope to be traveling in Europe, I was hoping to get one that was black so I could get by in more places than I could with fluorescently colored hikers (and thus bring fewer shoes). This is a good supportive shoe- very stable because of the wide heel base. This also makes it a pretty ugly shoe, unfortunately. The arch is not enough for me so I replace the insole with a heat-moldable insole. My heels slip a little in this shoe- I'm hoping I can solve that with adjustments to socks and lacing. Overall I like them OK, but they are not going to look that great with capris or skirts so I may need another shoe anyway. I chose this shoe over some black leather Rockports that were nicer to look at, but not as well padded on the bottom which meant I could feel every bump under my feet. These are thicker on the bottom, but still fairly lightweight. The leather is nice in the cool weather- not so sure about summer.

Great Walking Shoe - A super comfortable and stable shoe. The best I've found for walking (and I've tried a lot).

Order wider if you have a bunion - I wear this shoe to work and it looks well enough to be considered a "work shoe". I do have a bunion on my left foot that made this uncomfortable, but after about three days of wearing the shoe, it was fine. I have no arch in my feet and I WAY over pronate but I wear these without my orthotics and I'm fine even to walk for a distance. It just takes a bit to break in.

New Balance WW926 - I switched to these shoes after my two favorites Mizuno and Saucony changed their shoes and they no longer fit my feet. I walked about 17K steps a day over the summer and these were comfortable most of the time. I bought a second pair since they worked the best of anything I've tried so far.

WW926 Shoes - I am pleased with these shoes. They are very comfortable andtrue to width. Cushiony. I expected to get cushion and comfort from the WW811's, but those shoes were flat no cushion at all for a New Balance shoe at the high price. Very happy with the WW926 Shoe. Brought Black and White pairs. Very unhappy with the WW811. Zappos your service is excellent.
