Plastic thing between the toes hurts! Especially the first time you wear them. They are usable shoes after you wear themfor acwhile, but not the super comfy shoes I was expecting from Birkenstock.

Birkenstock shoes have come a good way from being the most clunky-looking shoe around. This (brown) shoe is reminiscent of the past but it looks better in black. Still, if you want too look good while having a great platform for the foot, I'm not sure that this is a good choice (though I have the two pairs). Also, the thong piece is hard on both shoes and hurts after a bit of walking. Maybe it'll break in.

I’m so disappointed! After only 3 months of wear, the side of both shoes are splitting. This is not Birkenstock quality.

These sandals have a very hard piece between the toes. I had to take them off within the first 10 seconds they hurt me so badly. However, I have extremely sensitive feet, and only one review that I saw mentioned that she used Vaseline to soften. So I would say buyer beware.

This is my normal size in Birks (I buy 2 pairs a year) and they were too narrow. knock-offs perhaps?

The sandals are very cute, but they are NOT comfortable. The thong is made of a hard material that makes the area between my toes be in pain. When I tried them at home walking on the carpet, they seemed to work well, but after walking outside for a longer period, the pain was quite bad. As a reference, I have used thong sandals before and never experienced pain. I do not recommend these sandals.

I absolutely loved these shoes, but only after two months of wear both shoes have cracks in the cork! Birkenstocks are an expensive shoe and I expected a high quality product. It's only a matter of time before these shoes fall completely apart. Extremely disappointed!

Just a warning, the bit that goes between your toes is plastic and it shredded the skin on my feet. Seriously, I had wounds for days. I am so sad because I really love these and want them to work.
