Great boot, first time I wore it hiking I got compliments. It fit great although I had to go 1/2 size larger. I generally wear an 8 and I needed an 8 1/2. I was able to wear this right out of the box to hike..not always a good idea, but felt comfy throughout the day. Zappos is awesome, I ordered three pair of boots to try on and needed to send 2 back...and as always it is never a problem. Also love the 110% price protection gaurantee.

While I have always been a huge fan of Keen shoes, these are not the "fit" that I have been accustomed to. I am hoping that repeated wearings may "loosen" them up a bit, but unfortunately, I trusted my past experiences and wore them outdoors as soon as I received them. Had I not done so, I would have returned them for a half size larger... Be aware of this before you make the same mistake!

Great walking boot - Overall, I'm very satisfied with this hiking or walking boot. I'm on my feet all day and these boots take hardly any time to break in, no blisters, just a bit snug after 6 hours of standing. Definitely glad I purchased a half size bigger.

Keens! Keens! Keens! Took them hiking last week...worked Great! They were a little snug with winter socks...but with my narrow feet, that's just what I needed. After several hours of hiking, they were still comfortable, no slipping and sliding. Keens and Zappos are AWESOME!

Keen Targhee Mid II - Very comfortable. They do run small--at least one size. I like the ankle support very much.

Love these boots! I have now purchased two pairs in two different colors and love, love, love them! I have possibly the flattest feet ever and these boots provide so much comfort and support..both arch and ankle support! I highly recommend these boots! Well worth the price and Zappos is definitely the place to buy them!

Comfortable for my difficult feet right out of the box. Not too heavy, waterproof, good support -- perfect for long hikes with my dogs. Ordered one half size up and fit was perfect. Zappos is AMAZING!

JKG-123 - These hiking boots are so cute. I own several pair of the Keen sandals and love them, so I thought I'd try the hiking boots. They are very comfortable, fit my wide forefront very well, and yet fits well on my narrower heel. I LOVE THESE BOOTS!

Not good enough - The problem with hiking boots - you never really know until you hike with them. I bought these for the square toebox - which is very roomy and comfortable. My previous hikers, Merrill, have great ankle/heel support but the pointy/narrow toe box made me seek out something new. These seemed to run short - like other Keens I have. On the first hike, I could feel the arch support wasn't there and the soles are far too flexible for anything but the kindest of trails. I could feel the shoe flex around gravel and small rocks.

Keen Targhee Mid II - I really love this boot. It's very comfortable with padding and great arch support inside. This is one of the many boots I tried where my heel didn't slip when I walked. I wish they still made the Concord (maroon) color but the Walnut that I got is fine and goes with a log. I did order a 7.5, which is a half size larger than most shoes I order but I knew that would happen with Keen's since my others are that size. I haven't worn it on a long hike yet, but I expect it to be comfortable and not hurt my feet.

Instant harmony!!! I live in the Northwest, on the beach in the woods, a ferry ride away from Seattle. These boots are perfect for beach walks, hiking the Olympics, walking the sidewalks in the city. Instant love between them and my feet... So comfortable! I have a high arch and the support is great. The ankle support is firm, but not rigid. I ordered 1/2 size larger because I wear very thin socks, thick socks, or long toes would require a full size larger. Love the look, rugged yet girly. Believe me, they are waterproof! Great value and as always, Zappos has the best customer support on the planet.

Great shoes for me and for their use... I teach motorcycle safety classes and finding a comfortable waterproof boot has been hard for me. I found these and called your outdoor specialist to help me. He was great in helping me find just what I needed. He was aware of the boot running a half size small and suggested I order an 8 instead of a 7 1/2 and he was right! Received the shoes on Thursday, wore them for the next 3 days teaching. Understand I walk and am on my legs all day Sat. & Sun. I took a chance in not breaking them in. That's how comfortable they were when I received them. Now for the waterproofing: haven't had any rain and that's a good thing as far as motorcycling goes!! Hopefully they'll stand up to the rain too. I have ordered many times from you and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks...

Zappos - An amazing company! Normally, I wear a 9, so I ordered a 9 in the Targhee shorter boot. My toes touched the end so I had to return them and re-order a 10. The length was perfect, but for some reason, my heel slipped up and down a bit with the 10, no matter how much I tightened them. I was so disappointed and returned them. Next, I decided to try the Targhee Mid II. Both length and heel are perfect in the 10! Its light as a feather, good arch support, fits like a soft glove. Not only are they the most comfortable that I've had, they're great looking! A friend told me about Zappos and they are unbelievable! I've ordered, returned, reordered and returned and this company is unbelievable! I received immediate email confirmations back and forth as soon as they shipped and I shipped, no hassles at all, no shipping charges, and I'm thrilled. I leave in 2 weeks to hike in the Alps and my feet are ready to go! Thanks Zappos! You are the best company that I've dealt with on the internet!

Great boot - This was my second Keen purchase, and really was impressed. Very comfortable, great for hikes and I also wear them in the snow to keep the cold and wet out. Very comfortable for long periods, puts a spring in your step! After buying Keens, I can't wear any other shoe.

Great for orthotics! I had to go a whole size larger than I normally do in Keens to a 9 (I normally wear a 7.5-8), but they fit perfectly with my hiking socks. Also, the removable insole allowed me to fit my FULL LENGTH orthotics in them for added support. Plus, these boots are easily much lighter in weight than any other pair I've owned.

suzieq202 - I love this boot! I work outside with aircraft, and I can wear this boot all day long and not have any sore spots. It is supportive and when worn with dry-wicking socks, keeps your feet really dry. I also do a lot of hiking and it is lightweight enough that my knees don't hurt like they do with heavier boots. I had to order mine 1 1/2 sizes larger to get a comfortable fit.

Keen Delivers As Usual - I love this boot. I put it on, right out of the box and wore it all day; it is very comfortable, durable and good looking. I love Keens, this is my 6th pair.

Women’s Targhee Mid II - I own a woman’s 8 and a half and it is just a bit too small but I already wore them and thought they would break in-they are broken in but still too short- normally this is the size I wear or mens 7 and a half. I love the boot but am disappointed that I can’t wear it so I guess I will order another pair when my size comes in.

Love this boot - I was lucky to get this boot in my size- after reading the reviews someone mentioned that their size (10.5-my size too) was back in stock. I went to look and sure enough, there was one in stock so I ordered it. I have been waiting for months for this boot. It fits great; I normally wear a 9.5 or 10 in Keens- but figured I would need to size up in this boot. It is sturdy, comfortable and waterproof. Wish the laces were a little longer, but no other complaints. I have a pair of the low-cut original Targhee’s, in a size 10, and they aren't as comfortable. I think they improved the fit in the second generation Targhee’s. I would love to see these in more colors. I have so many pairs of Keens I can't count, these shoes rock my world!!

Best money I've ever spent on a shoe. I bought these for a trip I'm taking to Alaska. I wanted something waterproof, durable, with ankle support and style. I am so happy I decided on this shoe. They are so comfortable; I don't want to take them off! And I'm usually one of those people who HATES to have shoes on...I'm always barefoot! They are narrower in the back with a wider footbed in the front...which is perfect for my foot. They feel like they are molded to my foot. I bought a half size larger than my sneaker size. I have gotten so many compliments on how stylish these are...they look stunning with a pair of jeans!

Perfect! I wear a 9.5-10 and ordered a 10.5 and it fits beautifully! The shoe is very comfortable and the laces stay on tight with the top plastic rung. Also, I can't believe that I ordered this late Sunday night and had it by mid afternoon on Monday! Just amazing...this is why I am a Zappos customer again and again.

These Keens are awesome! I love the way these fit my feet! I ordered the shoe a half size bigger to accommodate my hiking socks, and the shoes felt great! They don't feel so heavy on my feet when I wear them. I'm happy with the choice I made for a hiking shoe.

Amazing boots! I am not a sports person but I bought these boots in view of a hiking trip in Peru... With these on my feet, am ready for the longest hike!!! So comfy...As I will wear them with thick socks, got a size bigger and they fir perfectly.
