Great slipper, I love them. I received them as a gift from my husband. I wear them whenever I am at home and even sometimes when I go to the market or on a short shopping trip. They feel especially comfortable after taking a shower and when I put them on after work. The only problem is my husband likes to wear them. To solve that problem I bought him a pair, one size larger. I realize they are listed as women's slippers. However, my husband they fit him very well. Now we both enjoy these slippers.

Review of Targhee II Mid - I am a meter reader, and I walk 40 to 60 miles per week. We were required to change our footwear to ankle shoes. I already had the shoe version of this ankle shoe, and I loved it, and since I knew how it fit...I just ordered on-line. These shoes have a very comfortable feel: the inside padding is very cushion-y, the fit of the shoe is not binding, but a looser fit(which I love)and the soles are good in all terrain, which I am subjected to each day. I told my coworkers about them...because I think they are excellent quality. Before this, I never bought shoes this expensive, but it is well worth it.

They fit my wide feet - I love Keen shoes. Since I discovered them I wear almost no other shoes. I am a teacher and am on my feet for hours each day. I am traveling to Uzbekistan during my Christmas break, and wanted a pair of boots for that, but I wanted boots that I would wear everyday at home. I ordered the Targhee II Mid boots knowing I could send them back if they were not comfortable. I tried them on. Then I put my big wooly socks on and wore them for the next two days at school and at home and all day and evening. I was worried about my wide feet, but even with the heavy-weight wool socks, they were wonderful. I didn't even take them off when I got home from work. I think they will be just fine half-way around the world.

Excellent - Thank you Zappos!! I agree with all the previous (117!) reviewers about the excellent service of Zappos. It is the best place to buy shoes online. I guess that a lot of costumers were listening to the reviews since when I wanted to change my 8.5 size to 9 there were none in all the colors. However, I kept the 8.5 and it is the most fabulous boot I have had. Keep my feet warm and happy. Keen, as always, is the best.

I love Keen! Keen shoes make my feet happy. I have had several pairs of flip flops and sandals, but these are my first Keen boots. I literally took them out of the box and hiked a gorge right away. There was no blistering and very very little break in. I have a tendency for plantar fasciitis, but these are supportive and gave me no indication of pain or inflammation. I did go up one half size for a better fit with hiking socks and they are a great fit. Very happy with Keen, as usual!

Comfort perfected! I have become a huge fan of Keen over the last year. I love my Calistoga, Napa, and H2s...They are all so great on my feet! I was moving to the San Juan Mountains in CO, and needed some new hiking boots. These are perfect! So comfortable, almost no break-in time, and have kept me hiking and exploring in comfort. I have found myself wanting to wear them even when not going on a hike. I love these boots! I needed full size larger than all of my other Keens, and Zappos was great with the returns, ensuring a perfect fit. If you will be hiking, on your feet a lot, or walking around town, you will be happy to have these on your feet.

Cordovan Keen Targhee II Mid - Great shoe! My first Keen product but definitely won't be the last! Very comfortable and nice looking boot. Wore them hiking Fort Davis State Park (Texas), Grand Canyon, and Zion this summer. No break-in required. Comfortable from the minute I put them on to the end of the day. Didn't really have the over-sweaty feet issue that some reviewers mentioned. I'm a standard size 8 in shoes; size 8.5 in sneakers. I ordered these in 8.5 and they fit very well. Love them; Love Zappos!

Great vacation boots! Tramped all over Jackson Hole, WY, the Tetons, and Yellowstone in these and they were great! I didn't do any hard-core mountain climbing, just tourist hiking and lots of walking, but they are very comfortable and supportive. I even went C&W dancing (not recommended) ;>) in them.

Comfort Immediately - I typically have trouble with my feet but these hiking boots were comfortable immediately and needed no break-in time. The support is sufficient enough so I do not have to use my orthotics with them. A great shoe!!! I recommend it highly. I did need to buy a 1/2 size larger.

Targhee II Mid - Great shoe. Wore these hiking in the mountains, no break in time. Very sturdy, surefooted boot.

Love my new Keens, and Love Zappos! I bought the Keen Targhee II Mid YESTERDAY late afternoon after 5 p.m. MT, and selected overnight shipping (expecting a Friday arrival since I ordered them so late). Surprise! They arrived around noon today, which was a major bonus since I am on my vacation and had packed inappropriately. I basically got an extra day of hiking in thanks to Zappos. I love the boots. They are very lightweight and incredibly sturdy...exactly what I needed for my weak ankles on rocky trails. Yes, I tested them as soon as I took them out of the box. I got the "concord" color, and they are very cute too with jeans. All around perfect woman's hiking boot...functional, lightweight and stylish. WRT sizing: I was fortunate enough to try on the low-ankle version of this locally. I normally wear a 7.5 (flats and heels) to 8 (sneakers and Sorrels), and was very surprised that I needed an 8.5 in the Keen. So definitely size up least .5 from normal.

Great hiking boot! This is the best hiking boot I ever purchased! No break in period at all. I wear a 5 and after reading the reviews to go up half size, I did not listen (in the past I have done that and they would end up being too big) BUT the reviews were right on target! I wore them once for a day hike and the overall fit was perfect, great grip and traction control on the boulders, lightweight, great arch support, it's like they were made for my feet! But my toes were still hitting the front of my shoe making it a bit uncomfortable. I ordered these shoes specifically for my Mt Whitney trip in a few weeks and knew that if I kept them I would be miserable. I returned them and got a 5 1/2 and just got them in one day! They fit PERFECT! The customer service reps were awesome and made the whole process SO EASY! I didn't have to wait for them to receive the shoes in order to get my new ones shipped out. That was fantastic! Overall I was very pleased w/ my experience and I LOVE my KEENS! Mt Whitney here I come!

I LOVE THIS SHOE! Wow...this shoe rocks!!! I couldn't believe how great these shoes are. They feel WONDERFUL on my feet. I wore them this weekend for 3 days of hiking on Mt Hood. Walking on rocky terrain was not a problem whatsoever. My feet were sooo comfortable. Great, Great she! Highly recommended.

Great hiking boot!! This is a high-quality hiking boot. I've been hiking in these regularly for about 4 months and I am very happy with them. I ordered a 1/2 size up from my regular size, but I'm not wishing that I went even a 1/2 size larger. They hold together very well, and have pretty good traction. I haven't had any blisters, and they broke in pretty quickly.

Love these shoes! I bought these the week before we headed to the Sierra Nevada mountains and they were great! No “breaking in” needed and they were perfect for the steep climbs and rocky trails we were sometimes on. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger, as recommended with Keens, and they fit great. Lightweight and totally comfy. Great shoes!

Keen Targhee II Mid - I ordered these shoes from Zappos last week and received them the next day (Zappos is awesome with shipping!). They usually run small and I found that a 9 felt perfect, even though I usually wear an 8-8.5. They felt extremely comfortable right out of the box and weren't stiff when I was walking around my apartment. I did end up returning them though because I found that just walking around my apartment, they made my feet sweat like crazy. They do have Keen’ss form of GTX, eVent, but it didn't seem to let my feet breath at all. I'm sure these shoes would be great on the trail on a cold day, but I think they would be a little much for summer days and desert hiking.

I really like these...There were a lot of remarks about the size of this boot. I found them to be true to size. If you wear a 9 in the other Keen shoes then you wear a 9 in these. They have good support, are comfortable, and have good grip. Another thing I like about them is the dirt does not cling to them and they don't look as dirty as many of my other hiking boots. I live in the mountains and it is very dry and dusty most of the time here, so shoes don't look clean for very long.

Great hiking boot! I like this boot because of the wide toe box which gives my toes lots of room. It is light yet still offers support for hiking on the rocky terrain here in Colorado. The boot is extremely well made and is comfortable. They run small. I did need to order a full size bigger than what I normally wear. Thank you Zappos for making exchanges so easy! I like the way they look and have gotten lots of positive comments from friends. I would recommend this boot to others who hike.

I love these boots - I was nothing but skeptical when I bought these boots. I thought they would go right back to Zappos. The reason is that I have very wide feet and really thick ankles--I have never found a high top shoe that I liked but I ordered them because my boyfriend swears on ankle support while hiking. I was proved totally wrong! I love everything about these boots and if you experience similar "problems" as me with foot and ankle width, I recommend them to you. Right out of the box they were totally comfortable and I was able to hike around in them (light hiking) all day without hurting or sweaty uncomfortable feet. The construction of the tongue has extra fabric around it so that there is no gap where my ankle shows through like in other boots I have tried. In fact, these go around my ankle perfectly even without that feature. The cut of the ankle height is perfect. It's a bit higher in front but low enough in back that it doesn't "bite" into my ankle the way other boots have. It's just enough to cover and support my ankle. Lastly, these shoes are really light so not a burden on your feet or legs. I will buy these shoes again when I wear these out. They are also really cute!

Great hiking boot! I took these on the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru. I have a wider foot, and the generous toe box was perfect for me. I used my own orthotics and they were great; no blisters! Glad I got the waterproof shoes for the rainy days and wet terrain in the jungle. Almost everyone in our group had some Keen shoe or boot for the trip. Love these boots!

Best hiking boot ever! I bought these because of great recommendations on this site! I was not disappointed. I went hiking with my new outdoorsman, boyfriend on the Blue Ridge parkway. My feet never hurt a bit. They are perfect for comfort, support, grip, etc. They couldn't be better! (I did buy an 8 and normally I wear a 7). Thanks for great advice.

Keen Targhee II Mid - I find it difficult to wear anything else after wearing the Keen Targhee II Mid. Comfortable in everyway - cushioned and supportive. Size up a half size as other reviewers have suggested. I can, and have, walked for hours in these boots, with no difficulty - and my feet and joints are fussy. I only wish they were a tad less funky looking... I highly recommend this boot (and Zappos).

Rose to the top of the pack - After comparing this to the shorter version as well as the adorable Newport Trail style by Keen and a pair of hiking shoes by Sorel and Timberland, I settled on these. I followed the other reviewer’s recommendations and got size 9 even though I measure a size 8 and usually buy 8.5. They aren't as cute at the Newport Trail style shoe, but have the ankle support of a boot. They felt narrow at first and also bit into the back of my ankle. After walking around for about 1 hour, neither of these bothered me and my feet actually felt better than when I first put them on after a long day of walking around in heels at work.

Perfect for traveling & hiking - These are really great boots, they stay dry in torrential rain, and they are not too bulky so you can wear them casually or in the snow. I used them for mountain hiking for 5 days in a row and never felt uncomfortable, didn't need to wear them in either. Like other Keen boots get 1/2 size up.

Super Service - Just received my new Targhee II's...after ordering them less than 24 hours earlier. I did just like most of the people said. And ordered an 8.5 instead of my usual size 8. I've had them on since I got them to break them in...but really...there is nothing to break in. My feet usually don't do well in new shoes. But so far so good. Can't wait to try them out in the Sierra's.
