Basic fit is ok but the shoes narrow a lot at toe. Width at ball of foot is good but toes are squished.

I wear New Balance women size 8D all the time. The Propet shoe in the same size, was both shorter and narrower. I'm going to order up a size and up a width and see if it works. The fit was too tight to see if the shoe was actually comfortable. All I felt was squashed toes!

Too bulky and stiff

I just found out the shoes I've worn for years are too small. A bigger size still feels uncomfortable, regardless of the shoe. I wear orthotics so I can't evaluate the arch support of the shoe's insole as I take it out and replace it with my own. This shoe just didn't fit right. It's a beautiful shoe, nice soft leather. It felt a little wide, but I could tell from the outline of my foot that it was the correct width. I believe another review mentioned a high heel. I could feel that, it felt like the heel was higher than the rest of the shoe and that doesn't work for me.

I ordered a 9B. I should have ordered a 8.5B. They tend to run a little bigger. The shoe is really comfortable and it support my foot. Really good choice for a walking shoe.

The shoe is ok but the straps are not long enough for a very wide foot.

I was excited to receive my new shoes and decided to try Velcro closure for quick on and off,this option was all I expected. I didn’t feel much arch support they felt flat,hard and not comfy at all. I was going to buy inserts but decided to try another shoe instead.

Toe box way too narrow. Propet usually has a roomier toe box

The shoe fit but felt "chunky", although it was lightweight. Not flexible-extremely stiff.

I am trying to find a supportive walking shoe similar in fit to my New Balance walking shoe WW577VK however my toes feel squished in these and I'm pretty sure going wider or longer would not help because the shape of the toe is not as rounded as NB. I might still try an 8 in these though.

This is my second pair of these shoes. This pair felt smaller for some reason (of my foot got bigger) not sure but they are still a good shoe for the money. BUT LET ME TELL YOU JUST HOW TOTALLY AWESOME ZAPPOS IS! WHAT A TERRIFIC COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. lOVE LOVE LOVE ZAPPOS

I've never worn this brand before, and the feel of the shoe was very nice, however, they were a half size smaller and the front of the shoe felt narrower that the back, not true to fit.

I'm giving this 3 stars only because it didn't fit MY needs. These are comfortable but I need much more arch support. Returning.

These shoes are NOT off white as pictured. They are an unattractive shade of gray, and overall, they look like old lady shoes.

Although I ordered a 2xE the shoe is still too pointed and hurts my toes. I will have to return them. I guess i will have to buy from a store where I can try them on before I buy

Size 11, normal/medium width. I bought this in anticipation of foot surgery. I wanted something easy to put on once the cast comes off. Unfortunately, the shoes are too short by about 3/4-inch and narrower than all my other size 11M shoes; my toes were cramped in toe box and rubbed against the tip, even without socks on. And the material is very stiff, requiring some time to break in. I gave the pair to my sister who wears a size 10, and they seem to work for her.

Good looking shoe but I found the toe box too narrow even in Wide. the rest of the shoe was wide, a little too wide. For me a mesh top breathes better and is more comfortable. I am returning them. I wear a 9M or W and this was 9W.

HEEL TOO DEEP/LARGE HURTS ANKLE GONE EVEN WITH LIFT IN HEEL.

I removed the sole to use my orthodics. I had a lot of wriggle room inside the shoes after doing that. The shoe felt very basic and not supportive. It didn't seem to support against pronation or supination in my case. It felt hard. The positive point is that it did not look oversized like some shoes for orthodics can appear. I just am a bit perplexed how this shoe would help someone with say neuropathy.

I ordered this because some people said it was better than the similar New Balance shoe, and it looks a little slicker. But the toe box seemed narrower than the D width. I would have exchanged it for the next width up, but the heel is already a bit wide and slipping, so somehow the heel seems wider than the toe box area, so I am returning. Not gonna work for me.

This is a pretty good shoe, and I am hard to please due to swelling and other issues on my left foot. The velcro allows me to loosen up the shoe on days that I need to. If it was lined with fleece, I would give it 5's across the board.

I couldn't tell much about this shoe because it was way too big. I ordered the same size I've ordered in other brands (8WW) in order to accommodate Morton's neuroma and plantar fasciitis. These were so big they felt like clown shoes. I'll have to order down a size and try again.

I was disappointed in the toe box--high, but not wide enough for my toes. I was okay with the style, though not thrilled. Overall, the shoe also felt stiff when I tried walking in it.
