I'm so glad Bean is selling Birk's; I know they are the real thing and not a knock-off. I've spent so much $$ on shoes that don't help my back. I thought I'd take a chance and go back to my "crunchy granola" days and try them again. So glad I did; my back is so much better. I don't know why and I don't know how, but they sure work for me. I'm in heaven. I have my eye on another (little more feminine) pair for the summer. Thank you Bean and Birkenstock!

This is my first pair of Birkenstock Sandler. I could never figure out the sizing. LL Bean's size estimator is great. Compared to New Balance tennis shoes I regularly wear and size was perfect. I followed advice of other comments to use Arizona sandals for summer house wear and slippers in winter. A perfect solution!

The suede leather is super soft. I actually bought these for inside only shoes as my slippers are too hot for the summer. I need the arch support so these are a winner.

I am on my feet a lot at work and I wanted something that had a classic look while supporting my feet. These are very comfortable, and they leather looks stylish. I received a lot of compliments on these.

My husband's last pair of Birkenstocks last about 10 years. He bought the same pair from Bean and hopes it lasts another 10 years. He is very well satisfied!
