These shoes fit well and weren't hard to adjust. The instructions on the box were helpful. Maybe took 1 day to get used to how the straps felt.

Don't shorten the straps unless you know you'll never want to wear with socks. I had to build up to wearing them but now they're even better than my orthotics which gradually lose support and can't control the location of my foot. Z/2s keep your entire foot where it should be so your heel and ball cushion like they're supposed to. The heel bothered me a bit a first but now I don't walk so hard on my heel like I used to.

Zappos really takes care of their customers! We accidentally ordered the wrong size Chacos. No worries! Within 3 days of the original order, the wrong shoes were picked up and the new ones arrived without any additional cost! A million thanks to Zappos during the hectic holiday season.

Amazing! I had an older pair of Chacos that were actually a women's 8 and these babies fit like a charm. I wear them 365 and never want to take them off.

Fits very snug, minimizing the gap. It takes a little extra time getting the big toe situated versus the other types of sandals which were relatively easy slide on/off, which is a minor drawback, but the secure fit is worth it. I've only had them for a month or so, so it may, and likely will, get a little smoother getting in and out once they are more broken in. I think I have finally found the perfect sandal for all my outdoor needs. Super comfortable, sturdy and solid.

These are probably the toughest sandals you can find! They are a bit chunky but will last a long time. They are extremely comfortable, just follow the fitting instruction and they will serve you well.

By far the best sandal out there. If you do a lot of walking/hiking, this is a step up from the Z/1 which doesn't have the toe loop. The toe loop really does provide a lot of much needed support! The straps look like they would be uncomfortable, but I've had no problems at all. The Z/1 is much better if you are casually walking and like to loosen up to air your feet.

I got these as a last resort because I was unable to get the Zongs in my size. I was not disappointed! I slid into these and look forward to any opportunity to wear them. They stay firmly strapped to my feet no matter what the activity and look good with most anything. Oh, and I have to buy mens sandals because my feet are too wide for womens and I liked these because the straps were not so wide and masculine looking. Overall I am beyond thrilled with the purchase and will definitely purchase from Zappos again!

So, for starters, I love Chacos. Been sporting my Chaco Tan for about 3 years now. I hardly ever wear anything else. This is my first pair of Z-2s. I wore the Zong for a long time, but decided to step to something a bit more rugged. And boy do these deliver. Great grip on the footbed and sole, easy adjusting on the straps. The only drawback is, if you have big feet (15 here), and big ankles, you may hang off the front just a touch. The back strap is not adjustable, so I have some extra room on the back of the footbed that I can utilize. However, I love these sandals and would highly recommend them.

The toe strap takes some getting used to. If you don\'t have the patience or find it uncomfortable, the straps can be adjusted to get rid of it. I haven\'t had any problem with chaffing, blisters or any other kind of irritation. I haven\'t worn sandals in years and had only had bad experiences in the past. These Chaco\'s grew on me very quickly.

Well I first saw these and laughed because of how heavy they looked. They are chunky and big, but I barely notice any weight on my feet and I really just wear lightweight stuff like TOMS, Sanuk, or FiveFingers. They are incredibly comfortable and so durable. I love them.

These are great sandals. I had been looking for some for quite awhile. I made sure to ask people if they liked theirs and every time, it was like, "I love mine." I also asked how long they last. Right before I got mine my buddy told me his uncle just through his pair away that he had had for ten years. I was sold. I got mine and have not stopped wearing them since. As for the fit, it took me about two weeks of wearing them to get used to the feel. They were comfy at first, but the straps adjust over time. These are by far the best sandals I've ever had. If you still aren't sold, they come in wide and they are also really healthy for your feet. They are one of the only sandals awarded the APMA's national seal of acceptance. Great for hiking too. Fast drying. One of the only sandals with vibram sole, if not the only one! Only downside is they come in full sizes. It wasn't that big of a deal for me at all though. I'm a nine and a half and I got a ten.

Solid sandals. Very comfortable, fitting is unparalleled, and they ultra stylish. I think these are going last me a very long time!

This is a great shoe. I took them on a trip to India with me pretty much right out of the box and the first few days were a little painful as the rubber softened and my feet got used to them.Since then though, they have been incredible. Never before for any other pair of shoes have I found myself walking along thinking about how incredibly comfortable they are and how easy they make scrambling around. They are fantastic!

The sandals were everything that I expected. They are rather easy to adjust to your feet. Keep in mind that the meshing can be adjusted by Chaco if needed. Make sure to clean, as suggested on the Chaco website, in order to increase the life of the sandals.

I got a pair of Chacos for my birthday and my husband kept hinting that he would like a pair. My husband has always enjoyed outdoor sports (kayaking, hiking, repelling, rock climbing) so I thought I would get him a pair. He is a 6'6'' tall man with a size 15 foot. Zappos.com was the only place I could find them to fit. He loves them; we just went on 2 one week camping trips and he wore nothing but his Chacos, on the hiking trail and in the river.

The sandals are, so far, great. Great arch support and comfortable--exactly what I needed. The sizing was a bit off, though--these seemed to run smaller than the last Chaco product (shoes) I ordered, with no room for error whatsoever. They did, however, fit so no need for a return. Close call, but a success.

Great shoes! Glad to find they still make them like they use to. Let the record show these arrived the day after I ordered them! Next day delivery and I swear I did not pay for next day. In fact I got free shipping.

I bought these for my husband as I have a pair. They are awesome! True to size good support and best of all no velcro. We do a lot of hiking and fishing. These get wet without having to worry the velcro will wear out. They don't tend to stink on the rubber part like other sandals get either. Wish they had more patterns like the southwestern style and colors to choose from.

These are thick soled! I'd have liked if they were a more cushioning sole, but they seem to be really tough stuff. They are definitely the chunkiest Chacos I've ever laid eyes on. Same comfort as other Chacos though and I like having a plain black one. Wide foot people should like these too as the 2E was very accurate!

Chaco sandals are the only hiking sandals we use here on the Colorado Plato. They are very dependable and keep us glued to the vast Mesas here. Zappos web site is easy to maneuver and most always has the best prices. We trust them with our information and have never had a problem. I am a women and have to buy man's sandals as they are wider. The Chaco sandals offered in womans are usually never available in the wide widths. I wish they offered more wide widths.

Chaco's "no ka oi" Chacos "are the best" - My husband and I live an outdoor life on Maui 12 months a year and we do it in Chacos. We hike daily up the Puali at Makena out the lava flow at La Perouse, always on moving lava rocks. You feel your feet grip and hold balancing on the small tops of rocks. The toe loops are a must for this type of hiking. I find the diamond stealth sole the best, I wear a 7.5 and the 7 is perfect. 10 years a loyal chaco customer, and for the past few years buy from Zappos. Good deals and free shipping to Hawaii.

I am replacing my first Chacos after 15 years. These are the only sandals that support my full range of activities including everyday casual, hiking, running, wading, swimming, etc providing excellent comfort and support.

The best outdoor sandal on the market! The Chaco Z/2 is a step above the rest. First off, it's the only APMA approved sandal on the market, which makes them extremely comfortable, and second, they have a cool look to them. You can wear these anywhere and be comfortable. The toe loop adds nice support when in water or hiking. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who is looking for a comfortable, stylish sandal.
