I love how this works so well with my Copilot Luggage Roller, as does the Command TSA-Friendly Messenger Bag which I also have. My ideal TSA Messenger bag would combine features of the Command and the Commute. The two main features the Commute has that the Command lacks are the Key Keeper and the standard closure buckles. Those hooks on the Command look cool but are clumsy in practical use.

Great bag with lots of room for everything related to a computer and needed accessories. Can hold much more than I expected. Looks great. Very happy with the purchase.

Great commuter bag. Amazing how much fits in the medium bag size and it doesn't overwhelm my small frame.

Black material in center looks dirty quickly.

No matter how much stuff you have in the bag it sits comfortably and doesn't fall off your shoulder or weigh you down.I love that there is room for a tablet,laptop, lots of files, and compartments. I would recommend buying this bag.

I use this everyday as a day bag for either going to work or any other type of event where I know I might need something. It's great for those kind of uses as it carries everything I need and it's easy to access everything I need. It also looks really good, I get compliments all the time on the look of this bag. However, I wouldn't be something I would want to carry around for an extended period of time. I took it to an all day conference and by the end my back and neck was hurting. Now that may be because I brought too much stuff but still a cautionary tale.

I am an airline pilot and I use this to carry my ipad, flight paperwork, flashlight, water bottles (on the outside), refreshments, and plenty of pockets for personal stuff, (keys, glasses, wallets, etc).

Bought this for my husband for Christmas 2015 and he absolutely loved it! He tends to be a bit hard on his bags and luggage, so we love how durable this is! He personally loves the inside beverage holders and all of the pockets. I love that I won't have to buy him another replacement bag for a very very long time! Would recommend this to anyone!

I use this product to keep from dragging a carry on when traveling. It keeps things in reach and organized.

Got this for my husband to replace his old one which is still in great shape after 10 years, just didn't have all the pockets/compartments he needs now. After commuting with it for a week his exact words: "this bag is so awesome"! It has all the pockets and compartments he needs for his long commute into the city and he says it feels lighter.

I purchased this bag for my husband for Christmas and he has been since blown away by the high quality, roomy bag! He has a laptop, two cell phones, folders, notepads, a mouse, etc. for his job and needed something ready for the challenge. This has exceeded our expectations so far. It fits everything comfortably and hasn't buckled under the weight yet! Hoping it holds up!

I carry a laptop (and associated wires, converters, batteries) and lots of papers, between building, across campus, and on plains and trains. This handles them all, with lots of flexibility, different pockets a key strap and a sturdy but comfortable handle. I didn't think I would find one I liked as much as my old (worn out) leather bag, but this seems to be doing the trick quite nicely.

I bought this bag for my husband who had an older timbuk2 messenger bag that he used everyday for over 15 years. He had it for so long that he was getting worried about losing it somewhere. For Christmas he asked to replace it with a new Timbuk2 bag. Now he wishes he had done it sooner! No more digging around in his bag to find his keys and phone. Lots of compartments to keep organized and a separate area for his computer and iPad. He Loves it! Timbuk2 quality is amazing! The bag he replaced was still going strong after daily use for 15 years. Love the new bag and it looks great too!

This is a great bag. After years and years with my Ogio bag, I needed something new. At first I was concerned that I wouldn't have the same space I had before, but with all of the pockets and storage spots, this bag has exceeded my expectations. Now only the test of time will determine if this is indeed a bag above the rest.

Fell in love with this bag the moment I saw it online, and was excited to order it. I needed one day to think about it though, and then I attempted to contact them. I was trying to buy this bag over Black Friday for a good price, and I contacted Timbuk2 customer service three times (1 phone call, and 2 emails) and never got a reply. I had a question about honoring a Black Friday price, and I got only one automated response. I ended up ordering the bag from a 3rd party vendor, and it took almost three weeks to arrive because of FedEx SmartPost. But that is not Timbuk2's fault obviously. The bag is great, really, it's everything I wanted and it worked great with my new laptop on a trip to Washington, DC. Was nice being able to get my laptop through airport security easier. But the bad customer service has left a bad taste in my mouth, and be warned in trying to contact them for any reason. They say lifetime warranty, but I'm not sure how they would honor a warranty when they can't even reply to a potential customer. It's like I really wanted to give them my business, please, just take my money and give me your amazing bag! And Timbuk2's strategy was to then ignore me and not care so much about my business or my money, I guess!

Bought this for my husband and he loves it. Having the outside pocket for his laptop gives him plenty of room to carry other items in the main portion of the bag. Deeper water bottle pockets or an elastic strap higher up would be helpful.

It fits every thing. It will be used mainly for school and travel back and forth.

Seriously, this is a great bag/briefcase. For the last twenty years, I have been a customer of a different company when it came to getting a laptop bag/briefcase, but luckily...they stopped making the model that I liked, so I tried Timbuk2. Dang...I am so impressed with their bag..it is perfect for everything that I need it for. I travel all the time for work, and I really appreciate the way I can get through customs with this bag, and it holds all the notebooks and tablets that I usually need to bring along with me for my job. I don't think my new bag is going to wear out soon, but when it does, I intend to buy the same exact bag again...just sayin.

I've been using a Swig Laptop Backpack from Timbuk2 for almost four years now, and I've loved it. I've used it as both a school backpack, and a travel backpack for when I fly home from college on breaks and stuff. Now that I'm graduating in a few months, I wanted a new laptop bag that was a bit smaller and a little more grown up to take to work with me. This bag fits the bill! It's roomy enough to hold my computer, plus a couple notebooks or a binder, and my Kindle, but it's not too bulky to the point where it's annoying for everyday use. The strap is comfortable, and the bag works well worn either cross body or just on one shoulder. The TSA Friendly pocket is incredibly useful as well, I can't wait to test it out!

I have looked for a bag to fit my needs, and I hesitated when finding the timbuk2 bags because I thought they were a little less stylish than I wanted. I was very wrong and delightfully so. This is the best bag I've ever owned. There is so much space, the strap is incredibly useful, and I have grown to love the look. A+++

My go-to, daily bag to commute to the office or coffee shop for study session. I fly monthly, on average, and this bag is just superb for air travel. It's comfortable, practical and stylish - in typical Timbukt2 fashion.

This bag is fantastic. I got it as a birthday gift because my dakine messenger was starting to fall apart. I love the iPad/computer compartment. I have a lifeproof case on my iPad and it fits comfortably in the iPad pocket. This bag also keeps its shape and doesn't get wicked heavy when I have a few binders and my Mac/iPad in it. (I'm a teacher). The strap is really great because when the bag is heavy, the strap doesn't loosen up. The bag looks fantastic and is easy to clean. Great bag.
