I've been looking for about a year for the right bag that will carry everything I need in the cockpit. Tablet, chargers, spare battery, headset, sunglasses, ball cap, gloves and a bunch of granola bars, IT ALL FITS. The main strap has a lot of flexibility. I get it, you can wear this while you're riding your skateboard to work. There's also a cross-body strap included in case you decide to go rock climbing or parasailing with your awesome new bag. Yeah. I just tuck the strap into the cavernous bowels of this bag and forget about it. This bag also has a strap on the back that fits over the handle of any roller bag. I expect that I will get about five or six years out of this bag, and then I will buy whatever Timbuk2 is making at that time. This bag is an amazing value, it's hard to find this level of quality anywhere near this price point. Well done!

This is a very well built messenger bag that blends practicality with style. It organizes laptops, books, and all the other accessories I need as a student and career professional while providing a professional appearance.

Purchased bag for daily commute but it has served me well. I also got it for a planned business trip later in the year for my carry on/ and computer/cellphone bag.

Perfect travel bag for the work prehistoric laptop and pack some pads and snacks. Lots of pocket to stash the airplane nuts and 4 bottle holders. Two more and i would have a six pack. All joking aside, well made bag and it is functional.

I originally asked for the Command bag and it was not what I wanted for a daily commute. I ended up ordering this one and it is perfect. It holds a computer or ipad in the back compartment and everything else I need in the front. Highly recommended.

This bag easily fits a 13" MacBook Air, iPad Mini, Kindle, and School Work.

I use it daily at the office and commuting on my bike. Love the features, fit, look, and apparent durability. Great quality bag.

Originally bought it for my wife for Christmas but it was to large for her. I liked it so much I decided to keep it and order her the same bag in a small. We are bot satisfied.

I take this bag to work and it carries all that I need and more. I love how comfortable and functional this bag is. I've used it for a couple months and it's my favorite bag of all time.

I use it everyday. It fits my 15" laptop and my tablet comfortably with quick access in the rear pocket. Very room inside main compartment to carry books, papers, or even lunch.

This is the first time I've purchased a Timbuktu bag and I am very pleased with the quality of the bag. When I ordered it, the shipping was delayed for some reason and I called customer service. The guy on the phone explained the reason for the delay and told me that he would call me in the evening to provide an update. He called me promptly in the evening and provided an update. Two days later, I received my shipment. Bags arrived in very good packaging. I love the quality of the bags and have to say that I did get a good deal price wise due to the discount that was offered. I would highly recommend this bag.

Great bag!

This is my second timbuk2 messenger bag. The style of this one is outstanding and the tsa friendly computer compartment is great. There are plenty of compartments but they have rearranged them from older models.

I use the product as my main computer back for work. It travels to the office well and works great for travel. Holds all the things a business person on the move needs. Love It.

I have been searching for the perfect bag off and on for the past several years. I try to carry minimal amount of stuff on my person, but need lots of things with me. I travel a lot for my job and needed a place to keep my ipad, two pairs of glasses, a hot spot, pens, a notepad, and other random things. I was worried the small would not be able to handle everything I needed to carry, but it absolutely does. I have very minor quibbles with it, like I wish it was easier to get to some of the pockets without unclasping it, but they are minor compared to how useful and versatile it is.

The newly redesigned Timbuk2 CSA Friendly Messenger has some great improvements over the previous version. These include: 1) the slipover sleeve for wheeled bags is now a narrow strap rather than the full height of the bag, in the previous design the velcro on the sleeve would attach to the carpet under airline seats; 2) 2 rather than 1 side holder for water bottles; 3) an outside pocket for cell phones, great for when going through security when you have to quickly pull things out of your pocket, 4) redesigned pockets for computer and ipad, 5) a much better clasp on the shoulder strap, and 6) a design that stays on my back easier when biking. Design that could be improved: 1) a bigger outside pocket for cell phone (only small ones barely fit) and a wallet; and 2) a smaller zipper front of the bag pocket, for things you never want to lose. So why am I reviewing a new bag when these bags last forever. My old one was stolen.

I'm an adjunct instructor and have to lug all my teaching materials around two different college campuses. This bag keeps everything dry and organized. The one down side for me is that one of the buckles on the strap cuts into my collar bone if I wear it over my right shoulder. I think I can get around that, but haven't figured out how yet.

This is my sister's first Tibuk2 and she is hooked! We love them and I have 2 and counting

I've been looking to replace my old and beloved backpack with something that works for the new job I am about to start. I will be commuting via bus and need to carry my laptop and paperwork, so the bag is perfect for my needs.

I have been looking for a bag that does two things: holds everything I need for my busy day (change of clothes, snack/coffee, folders and files for three different endeavors, laptop, charger, sweater, etc etc etc) and protects my laptop if I drop my bag on the ground without thinking. This is that bag! I literally busted the seams of my last bag just trying to get through my day with everything I need. Thank you Timbuk2!

Love this bag! No complaints whatsoever!

This is my 4th purchase and my favorite. I'm doing a lot of airlines travel now for work and find this is great for weeklong trips. The TSA feature is the best even though I have Global Entry status.
