So many people have praised these shoes that I needed to get a pair. They were necessary as I am required to remain on my feet for long lecture hours. They came looking beautiful but the width (regular) pinched me horribly. And I have a regular foot width fit! Apparently not for Dansko. I am returning them for a wider fit.

If you have high arches these will not work for you. The top of the shoe is too tight on the top of your foot. I think the shoes are really cute, but I was disappointed that my feet were not flat enough to be comfortable.

I am a medical student and I bought these to wear during my clinical training. I have had problems with pain in my feet since I was 9, so I really needed a pair of shoes that would look professional and not leave my weeping in pain by lunchtime. These do the job, though there was a four day breaking in period. It takes time to get used to how these shoes feel on your feet. Your heel should lift up out of the shoe when you walk. I know, it is weird, but it is great once you get used to it. And before you buy, know that you will have to order a larger size than usual. If they do not fit at first, take advantage of Zappos' return policy and get another size until you have the perfect fit. It is totally worth the effort if you have to be on your feet all day or if you suffer from foot pain. As for style, well, they are clogs. It is impossible for them to look fabulous, but they are versatile: they are appropriately professional when worn with office clothes, but they do not look screamingly out of place when I am wearing scrubs, either. They come in enough colors and textures that you can select one that should fit your wardrobe. Overall, these are great shoes for clinics. If I were not a broke student, I would buy more.

It is hard for me to find narrow shoes, but with Zappos, I can always find not only narrow shoes, but practical ones, cute ones, summer ones. Basically shoes for every occasion.

Great show. It provides good arch support. It was tough to break it in. It hurt my feet allot for the first 2 or 3 weeks. Now I am still trying to break in the top part. It hurts the top bone on my foot. But I do love this shoe. It does push you forward with each step. They are heavy to wear.

I have been using Sanita clogs for a long time (+- 20 years). Dansko's clog is a copy of Sanita's clog and it did not work for me. Dansko's clog is tighter then Sanita's, less comfort for my feet. quality wise, both have a OK quality (for the price, both labels could do better).

Love these shoes, they go with everything and very comfortable. I will say if you are a woman size 11 go with the next size bigger.

I love the shoes, but I wish the felt better on my poor feet. I'm the first to admit shoes always hurt my tootsies, which is why I decided to invest in a pair of Danskos. I always wear a wide shoe, so I purchased the Danskos in a wide. Still they pinch my toes a little. I am hoping they will stretch because (besides the tightness)they are very nice shoes.

Love these shoes! I have a wide foot and fallen arches and these are the only shoes where I can go barefoot and not have pain. My first pair lasted nearly three years, until I slipped on ice and fell (hard). I questioned the traction after all those years, so I purchased a brand new pair. Almost a year later, I slipped and fell again. Only harder this time. I know I live in MN where there is ice and slush, but these shoes simply cannot handle the inclement weather. Leave the shoes in your office -- wear boots to work!

First time to own a pair of Dansko. My wife swears by them and I had bought some for her and thought I would try a pair for me. So far so good. Not sure I could rock that look but it goes well with jeans. Very supportive and well made.

Everyone loves Dansko's. For we narrow-footed, its been a problem. I handle thoroughbred stallions. If your shoes are loose, a step back could land you on your keister. With a breeding stallion in tow, everyone could be in serious trouble. Thank goodness this line comes in Narrow! They handle water, mud, walking on harsh terrain. They're easy in and out; a good compromise to expensive, custom boots.

They are very nice. They run a bit on the large side though. I got a 9.5 med and they swim a bit. You might want to try a size smaller than you actually wear.

Although returning, I liked this shoe. It was a toss up between this one and a similar shoe by Keen. This was a smarter looking shoe, but really heavy. I went with the other choice because of the weight. Didn't do anything but try it on and walk around the house, so don't know if it would have stayed comfortable, but it was for the time I wore it.

One thing to know about Dansko - apparently "professional" means a little extra room. I ended up purchasing one from their non-"Professional" line and they fit snugly, but well. One another item to note about the 'Tooled' color - it's not quite as silvery as the picture depicts. It's a little blacker.

These were super comfortable -- thank goodness Dansko makes wides these days! I love them - wear them almost every day to work.

Like the shoe, service and selection is great. It was hard to find out which, if any Dansko clogs had removable inserts. Online site wasn't really perfect and I found it hard to use and ended up calling.

As someone with a long narrow foot, I was so hoping that this shoe would fit. Ordered 11N; width and arch were perfect fits, however just a smidge too short, so am returning.

These shoes are very nice, and look formal with dress pants. I am still deciding if I should keep them, because although they are comfortable and look nice, I don't think they would be good for walking and the patent leather must be treated with a bit more care than regular Dansko leathers.

These shoes ae pretty comfortable and really cute. My only very slight issue is that they can get hot but overall I love them.

I walked into the Walking Company at the mall and asked what was the best shoe for someone who had to stand up to 12 hours at a time. (I do guard work.) They recommended this shoe. Thank goodness I tried it on to determine my size, because the equivalents given online are off. I wear a woman's 9.5 and needed a 41 described as 10.5-11. Pros, I can indeed stand 12 hours with minimal discomfort to my feet and back, due largely to the excellent arch support and wiggle room in the toe box. Also, no blisters even on the first wearing due to the loose back. Cons are that they're heavy, so if you constantly walk, they might tire you out, and if you have a high arch, as I do, they feel a little tight across the top at first. They're also not particularly stylish, but compared to other comfort/work shoes, they aren't bad.

This shoe is very comfortable and supportive. I don't have to wear my orthotics! One drawback is the shoe rubs the skin off some of my toes. Otherwise, I can wear the shoes all day on my 12 plus hour shifts.
