While these shoes are extremely comfortable, the shoe itself has a very industrial feel around my foot. They are heavy and not easy to move fast in as they do slip up and down the back of the foot. Overall I think it will be a good durable shoe that has the comfort of a more casual shoe.

Perhaps not the most sleek or stylish shoe out there, but they are super comfortable! Being pregnant I was looking for shoes with good arch support and that were easy to put on and take off. These fit the bill perfectly. My only complaint is that they squeak something awful on tile floors.

Beautiful shoe, way too small. I recommend ordering at least a size bigger. These are going back, but Zappos got them here in a big hurry.

Love my new shoes...be very careful if you have a high instep. Someone told me to get the wide and I didn't listen. I didn't know I had a high instep until I wore these puppies for an hour.

It's funny; I ordered these at the same time as a different style of Dansko clogs in the same size. My other clogs were a little snug across the instep, and these "Professionals" were loose, so much so that I had to wear an extra sock on my slightly smaller foot. They run a bit larger than any of the many other Danskos I've purchased. Other than that, they're comfortable and I like them. They're so shiny, my husband asked if they were my rainboots!

I normally love the Dansko Professional. However, I am having a hard time getting a good pair in the cherry patent. First, because for reasons unknown, this color runs a size larger. So while my other Dansko clogs are all size 37, I had to get a size 38 in the cherry. Which would be fine, if I had only had to return them the one time; shoe sizes sometimes vary. However, both times that I have re-ordered these shoes there have been small, but noticeable black spots on them. Maybe they are on sale because they are factory seconds, but if that is the case, it should be noted in the description. And a sale item should not be held to a lower standard of quality. I am about to order my third size 38 pair and hoping that these will not have the formerly mentioned defects. Clearly I want these shoes, I love the color, but I am starting to lose hope. So I am giving four stars.

These are very nice shoes and I have them in black polished leather, size 44. I received these in size 44 and they were huge! I had to return them because I was slipping out of them. I do understand that each pair is stapled by a different craftsperson, but wow - what a difference. Next time I'll order a 43 and a 44 in this style and keep whichever fits better.

I purchased the gray color two years ago and I am happy with the fit and comfort of wearing them all day. I am not happy with the color rubbing off and the squeaking that has started. So basically, I do not wear this pair anymore. I was hoping to find the average useful life of a Dansko Professional shoe to see if it is worth the investment. I do not know if my problems are defective shoes, caused by my gait or just normal wear and tear. I am taking notice though. I purchased the patent leather a few months ago and will keep you posted.

I love how it arches to follow the arc of my foot, its very relaxing to wear it to work but the size really is bigger. Because they didn't have a true fit for 6 1/2. I don't mind, it looks so cute and I love how it makes me feel taller too.

After hearing great things about this shoe from my coworker, I ordered a pair for work. I like how these shoes come in wide, as it's hard to find shoes for my wide feet. My heels and lower back stopped hurting ever since I started wearing these. However, my tailor's bunion (bunion on the little toe) has gotten significantly worse to the point where it hurts to walk in these. Just a word of caution to others with bunions.

Purchased these for my daughter. Womens size was sold out, so I used the exchange and selected the men's size...it was too small as indicated below. Will try to re-order.

Love the shoes but they are at least a full size too big. I have another pair of Danskos in a mary jane style (size 37) so I ordered these in 37 as well. I was surprised when they were so much bigger than my mary janes. I will exchange for a 36. I normally wear a size 7 shoe.

I am still debating whether these beautiful shoes are wide enough. I ordered size 36 wide which were too tight then reordered size 37 wide. I have worn them around the house a few times and am not sure that the stiff leather will shape to my foot. I also have Dansko clogs in brown suede which are great.

Exactly what I wanted, and exactly what I received. Quite comfortable, very sturdy-feeling. I've almost rolled my ankle in them a couple of times though because once you go over, there's nothing stopping you. I wear them to work in though for my twelve hour shifts.

I finally took the time to order a pair of these fabulous shoes I see others wear. However, when I received them they were too small and narrow for my feet even after ordering a 42 -- I'm a size 11. I sent them back and I'm currently waiting for my wide with size. I hope these new ones work for me!

This is my third pair of identical shoes--they are extremely comfortable, and cute but the second pair was a bit smaller than the first pair, and the third pair larger than the first two. Bottom line: shoes vary, even within the same size. Don't be afraid to exchange them.

I have plantar fascia, and the only shoes that have been comfortable for any walking have been my Dansko clogs. These are my "dress-up" clogs and have added a little panache to my wardrobe.

I love Dansko's. I purchased this pair to replace my last black pair that I bought 4-5 years ago. I'm not sure if Dansko changed their sizing specs, but these felt a little smaller than my last pair. The shoe rubs the back of my heel, which I didn't experience with my last pair.

Great shoe. Deep enough to fit my orthotic and still allow sufficient hug in the heel. I have a very narrow foot and the Narrow is too wide (my foot slides forward and my big toe hits the front of the shoe, giving me deformed big toes. But my feet and legs are pretty much pain free due to these shoes.

This is my second pair of Dansko clogs, and even though my other pair is the same size and fit perfectly, for some reason this pair feels a bit bigger. If I wear thicker socks it is fine, but my foot does move around a bit too much in these. I really enjoy the style and comfort, though.

Love these shoes! I was worried they would look clunky, but they really don't, and are so comfortable and have good support. I was a bit surprised how much height they added, which I didn't necessarily want, but I love them!

Good solid shoes. I don't find them quite as comfortable as everyone says they are. They rubbed my bunions at first, but now they're stretching out. Because the sole is so thick, I find I get a bit wobbly in them. But there's great cushioning and arch support.

The ordering was painless, and delivery, even though I am in a rural area, was overnight. Absolutely outstanding!! The customer service was also outstanding. I had to return and replace the shoes, as due to the European conversion, they were about 1/2 size too small. The replacement arrived overnight as well!! The return was prepaid. Treatment via phone with customer service was something you rarely get. I was treated as if I was one of their most valued customers, and as if I was the only person that mattered during this whole process.

These fit smaller than they are marked for me, but even with my toes all squished they are more comfortable to walk around in than any other shoes I currently own! I can't wait until my return's complete and my correct size is here! I can tell I'm going to be wearing them every day.
