I purchased these shoes for vacation to Florida. I am very disappointed with the comfort and sound they make when walking. I would not recommend them.

I like the support but they fit could be better. The toe strap is too far from the top of the sandal so the heel is perfectly placed but the shoe is too long. A smaller size would not solve the problem as your heel would hang over the edge.

Didn't work for me -
After reading all of the amazing reviews I was really hoping these would work for me. I have super-high arches (shoe store employees are always shocked at how high my arches are), a wider forefoot, a very narrow heel, and wear orthotics, and since there were positive reviews from other people with high arches and orthotics I thought I'd give them a try. Unfortunately, even after following the directions to heat them and mold them to my feet, the arch support was so high that it felt like I was walking on a golf ball -- I am very curious how these sandals can work for anyone with normal to flat feet! Also, the straps were too tight and literally cut into my feet after wearing them for only 30 minutes -- if I could flatten the foam under the toes/forefoot that would give me more room in the straps, but I could not get the foam to flatten more than just a hair after heating and molding them, even standing on my tip-toes to put all my weight on my forefoot in an attempt to flatten the foam. (But this size was almost too long for me, so there's no way I could wear the next size up. I usually wear a 7-7.5 and ordered these in a 7.) The sandals are much too wide and clunky to be flattering; however, the wide width and deep heel cup do make them very stable. Since I only wanted these to wear to water parks, pools, etc. I didn't care if they weren't the most flattering!
These are probably still worth a try since so many people love them, I just wish I could have got them to work for me!
I'd also recommend:
Chaco also has very high arch support.

Montrail Molokini -
This is a good supportive thong; however, found it to be a bit narrow for my foot, and therefore the sides rubbed. There was also rubbing in the thong area, though my feet might have adapted to that. This had too masculine a look for me. My feet are extremely picky, so this would probably work fine for someone else.

Comfy but casual -
I really liked the idea of these thongs with the heat shaped base. And while they are comfortable, they are very wide and as a result, they look a little big and chunky. Fun for the house, but not a great look for going out.

Not good for short toes -
These flips are really comfortable. The molded foam footbed is a great idea. I went ahead and baked them for a custom fit. However, this sandal is made for people with normal to longish toes. I have short stubby toes and there is a very large area at the top of the shoe that is "empty." I usually wear between an 8 wide to an 8.5 (in most sport sandals). However, I had to order up a size in the Molokinis (a size 9) in order for my heel to fit in the shoe (kind of like Chaco Flips, only wider). The shoe does have a very generous cut in the width department - but it still does not really fit my foot. Also, if you get them wet, they made a squeaking sound. It's not a big deal - but you do sound like you're walking on whoopee cushions if you get them wet. Overall it's a good sandal, but just not for me.

Very Long -
These were soo soft when I put them on but they had to be a full size too long. They would not stay on when I walked as my toes would not stay forward also there is a lot of space for very long toes (mine are stubby). I may try a smaller size because they were so comfy.

Like the shoe, but not the ribbon between the toes -
I bought these because I heard about how comfy they were. Well, the base part is VERY comfy. The bottoms of my feet didn't hurt all day. However, the ribbon thing that goes between my toes was very uncomfortable. By the end of the day, there were red marks between my toes from the ribbon cutting into it.

I was going to Disney with my grandchildren, and felt I needed a new flip flop. I have never ever spent this much on a flip flop, and never should have. I got such horrible open blisters on the top of my foot because of the straps. I would have returned them but my husband tossed out the box while I was away.

I have plantar fascia problems and need a flip flop with good support. These looked so good and got great reviews BUT they are not for me. There is solid support in the arch area but it is hard and lumpy. IT is like walking with lumpy eggs under your arches! The toe area is squishy, but the midsection is not good. I had high hopes but these did not work at all.

These provide excellent comfort and support. However they just do not hold up. The tread peeled off my first pair after six months of moderate use. The second pair began peeling after just two months. If you do not mind paying this much and replacing twice a year, then these are perfect.

At least one size too large. Top strap of size 12 did not even touch top of my foot. Seemed more like a mens size 12. Waited for the cute color combination Dewberry/Burnt orange but will have to return these and search another brand, since I don't know what size to order now.

I did not like this shoe. Fits extremely big. Was really excited about forming the shoe to my foot using my oven. This really did not work. I took these shoes on a trip to the Caribbean and wore them once. They just were not comfortable and gave me a blister in-between my big toe and middle toe. Would be returning if I hadn't put them in the oven and wore them a bit. Very cute shoe just not comfortable.

I didn't like these sandals. I am an 8 - 9 medium width, and these felt bulky and kind of heavy in the 9. I think the 8 would have been the same, only a bit shorter. I prefer the Senco Yummi. Light on the foot and decent arch support, too.

I heard really good things about these shoes, and they are very comfortable, but the soles come unglued very easily. When it happened on my first pair, Zappos was awesome and replaced them no questions asked. Then it happened again on my replacement pair, so I took them to a shoe repair guy and he glued them back down. I think there was something wrong with the glue in the whole manufacturing batch or something.

I wish these had worked for me. I have high arches and appreciated the great arch support of these flip-flops, but they were just too "tall" for my foot. The straps were well above my foot, and that gap made walking in them comically floppy. These would work better for people with thicker feet than mine (I'm 5"2" 110 lbs.). I exchanged them for my old favorite Teva Olowahu, which doesn't have quite as good arch support but fits my foot better.

Ouch! The strap across the foot is too tight and will not stop rubbing my foot raw. Even though I followed instructions on placing the shoes in the oven and then standing in them, the shoe did not form fit my foot. I would not recommend paying this much money for them. I would probably return them, but I wore them trying to break them in.

Montrail has changed the length of the straps on the shoe. Where they once fit snugly, allowing easy walking, the shoe now dangles from my foot with each step. If I had kept the packing material, they would have gone back, but I didn't. If you order, make sure they still fit before ditching the box.

First let me begin by saying that Zappos has been wonderful to me about this purchase...but I had a big problem with the Monrail Molokini sandals...at first I thought they were defective but the second pair was the same way. The heel compresses all the way to the floor...you have no sandal bottom at your heels. I did one sandal the way the manufacturer recommended by heating the shoe and setting the orthodic and that didn't work...so I tried the other without doing that...still no good!

I\'m not 100% behind these flip-flops. After I wore them for a couple of weeks the thong on one suddenly rubbed that spot between my toes raw. Great out of the box, then terrible. I\'ve been wearing them very lightly since that happened, thinking that perhaps that strip of fabric will soften up. Other than that, they\'re fine: excellent arch support, no slipping, lots of cushioning. Not wonderful to look at, but that might be me.
