I was looking for a great black shoe to walk around Europe in, and found this one! Looks great and is comfortable, but not as comfy as the regular tan Sperry's that I have. The bottom of the shoe is more flat, so I may have to get some inserts with arch support in them. But I know they are good quality and will last a long time.

I get a new pair of these classic deck shoes every other year. It took me a few tries to figure out the correct size. Remember they stretch to fit your foot. so get them a little tight, loosen the laces, wear them a few times and enjoy.

I got excited to get these because me and my boyfriend got matching shoes. But withiN less than a minute of trying them on they gave me blisterS. They are way too narroW and need to be rEturned for a wiDe.

Great service. Arrived on time. The color was true to what I expected and the leather is supple. The fit is amazing. I had hoped for a narrow size in a shoe this expensive but since it's a tie shoe, I just pulled it tighter. Left shoe has a defect that is more annoying than enuf to send back. Around the arch area when I step down on it, it creates an air noise... Throwing in a piece of tissue helped. I'm hoping wearing it as much as I do will wear it in and take care of the noise issue.

I ordered these in a size 8W to accommodate a bunion on one foot and I needed to return them for a 7½, so if you are between sizes, I would suggest ordering down. The leather is not shiny like the photo, but more of a brushed nap feel. And the color is not as rich. Had they looked like the photo, they would have gotten the fifth star.

Purchased a size 10. Typically I wear a 9.5 but wanted this to be a little roomy. I could not keep them on for more than an hour at a time because they were so unbelievably small. After reading up on Sperrys, I thought they would stretch enough that I could wear them. Well, a few months later I can spend a day in them, but I always need to take a day or two break afterwards because my tootsies get sore.

I love how my two-tone Sperry's look a little different than all the classic brown ones I've had in the past. I will say, the leather on these is thinner than traditional Sperry's, so they break in immediately with no blistering like my old ones. However, I'm not sure if they'll last as long because of this. Regardless, they've been holding up fine for the past couple months with daily wear, just a more relaxed fit, so I'm optimistic.
