Loved the shoes. The problem for me --I received two pairs that were defective. One pair I returned and received back again. All together I ordered these shoes 3 times. Love the fit and feel. First defective pair had unglued insole. Second pair had yellowed-brittle sole. I received the first pair with bad insole after returning the yellow-soled ones. So exhausted by the whole experience. Thank god the shipping was free and relatively easy. And Zappos discounted my next purchase for all my trouble. But overall bummed that I never got these shoes. Going to order directly from Sperry once I recover fully from the fiasco. I also put some blame on Sperry for the defects to begin with. I'm thinking though that the yellow soled ones was probably a warehouse/expiry issue with Zappos. I am a size 5 so maybe the stock for them sat longer than other sizes? Was tempted to order 4 more pairs and hope that one was good but then decided to go to the manufacturer. Zappos said they couldn't go through the stock to check that others didn't have defects as well. Forgot to take pics of problems before sending them back.

I consistently wear a 7 and ordered these in a 7. They fit well right out of the box. A little on the large side with the heel slipping when I wear them without socks, but fitting comfortably when I wear them with socks. I like the roominess of them without socks because they do not rub a blister on my heel as many leather shoes do. I was disappointed with the color, which was less brown and more yellow--they say "Honey" for a reason. It's still a neutral and I kept it, but would have preferred a more golden brown and less of a sallow yellow.

The sizing is weird. The 7 1/2 was too short. The 8 was too long, and the leather pressed in on the ball of my left foot. Unless you have narrow feet, order the c width. I'm sad to have to return them as I really wanted the Sperry boat shoes I wore years ago.

I already own a pair of really old Sperry's and assumed they would fit the same. I received the first pair, normal width, and they were incredibly tight. I returned them and ended up going with the same size in the wide sizing which I have never had to order before. The wide size fits like a normal shoe should!

Loved the shoes. Unfortunately, they fit fine length wise but too narrow and I don't have wide feed. I'm returning for next size up.

I ordered 1/2 size smaller than I normally wear and am glad I did. Out of the box they were a bit tight, however they loosened up to feel just right after a few wearings. They feel more and more comfortable every time I put them on my feet. I wear them with practically everything.

Wish these had been true to size as far as length goes. They felt 1/2 size too short. Otherwise, great shoe and one of the few that come in narrow width. Big disappointment to have to return them.

I have been getting the bluefish for almost 10 years now but I decided to give these a try. The leather is much tougher than the bluefish and harder to break in, but I think these will stay looking fresh longer. Still working on them being comfortable though.

I usually buy two pairs of sperrys per year and with this pair I noticed I needed to order "wide" for the first time. Same great style and comfort.
