The sole on the shoes were falling apart before I even wore them and I was very disappointed with the laces as well that were torn and scratched. I would never recommend these to anyone

Very disappointed with comfort, quality of leather and general appearance. I have had Sperrys before and totally loved them. Too bad they have gone the way of too much of a good thing.

this shoe still has its legendary comfort and the version I bought, the black quilted leather, has great style; however, the eye-watering chemical smell of something in the shoe (apparently in the sole) ruins it. I thought it might dissipate with wear but so far it has not. Why didn't I return it? Because I had already trimmed the laces. Sperry needs to change its suppliers.

I'd love to buy these for my daughter! She has a size 11 foot and although MOST manufacturers are producing size 11s for women Sperry is lagging behind! So I'm not buying them for my size 9.5 or 7 daughters until they can all have them. Get with the program Sperry (and no, buying a men's shoe is not an option!)

They look great but the vertical seam at the back at the top of the heel is very thick and very uncomfortable. The toe area is very narrow too. They felt good in the store but once I started to wear them I was disappointed. I tried for about three days to break them in, but nothing will fix the seam at the heel. Going to return them.

I have berrn wearing this deck shoe for at least 55 years and never been so disappointed. The color is yellow and the canvas is stiff. I know you can do better. Please go back to the original white canvas deck shoe and send me a pair when you do. Thanks
