I returned them because they are very narrow and I don't have a wide foot. I like the color and so was attempted to exchange for a wide version but the heel slipped so much that I decided not to.

These shoes are made from quality leather BUT they are VERY narrow around the toes. I ordered 10W ang got a wierd trianglar shoe that is wide at the heel and instep and pointed at the toes. Sperry is not comitted to comfort!!!

Terrible blisters on the insides of my insteps from the shoe interior after only four hours of wear at sea. Most people buy these for fashion reasons; not me; I'm an active crewman on a sailboat. I love the traction offered by the sole, but these blisters hurt. Maybe loafer-style deck shoes just don't suit my feet, but they're expensive and now I cannot return them. Would not recommend for active sailors. Please make sandals like Tevas with your wonderful deck-friendly sole!

Very disappointed! I've had these shoes for less than a year & definitely don't wear them everyday (just started wearing them more than once a week last month when I started a new job). I tripped & saw the sole had come apart! Complete waste of money & very embarrassing!

These are definitely not wide! In a fit of nostalgia I bought these because I wore them throughout college and loved them. I was exited to see that they offered a women's wide. I ordered a 9.5W. Although they are marked wide, they feel very narrow. I have medium wide loafers that are wider. They will be going back.

I purchased the Authentic Original Boat Shoe in Navy and Sahara. The two shoes are not the same quality. The sahara is ok. I wish it had a leather footbed, instead of the fabric one, at least the shoe is good quality leather. The Authentic Original Boat Shoe in Navy is not great. If I had seen it in person I would not have bought it. The leather is very soft, it feels more like a slipper when I put it on and appears to be a bonded leather. I have worn Sperry A/O boat shoes for years. The navy A/O boat shoes I recently purchased are not the quality I am used to. I won't buy sight unseen again.

Very cheap leather thin sole. So far from what Sebago and even Sperry used to offer

I bought my first pair of Sperry Dock Siders in the 90's and loved them. I was equally prepared to love this new pair but not so. Although they look good the shoe is entirely different than I expected. The "leather" is too soft and pliable giving the shoe no structure. It's like wearing a bedroom slipper that you already know is not supposed to be a shoe. I wish I could return them.

The website listed my selection as "grey" but the color is actually taupe, with grey laces. Returned without trying them on.

The image of these shoes on the Sperry website/box does not reproduce the true color of this model. Unfortunately, these shoes are to be returned.

I've owned a few pair of Sperrys and these just don't hold their shape in my high arched feet. Normally Sperry's work well. Both of my feet roll to the opposing side of my body when wearing these around the house to test. Returning.

The tonal authentic original does not feel or fit as nicely as the Authentic Original Sperry Topsider. The leather is hard and the interior does not hold up for very long. I have worn SperryTopsider A/O for over 40 years. None of your other models fit & feel the same as the A/O. The most comfortable best-fitting A/O was the only Gold Cup women's A/O that you made for only a year. I wish I had ordered at least one more pair as you don't make the Women's Gold Cup anymore. I will still order A/O from you so please don't stop making them!

Sadly I have been wearing topsiders since the early 80's. Quality was fantastic. My shoe size has been the same for 50 plus years. . The shoe now doesn't fit well anymore. My toe gets numb, not much cushion and only one color that comes in narrow. This pair I purchased was 9,5M and still have the same problems Besides the original the blue fish was the best. I don't want to chance creating my own for a much higher price knowing it can't be returned.

People with wide feet, usually have high insteps. This needs to have a lot more room.

Insoles came loose after about 4weeks of wear. Tried to buy new insoles no luck and Sperry doesn't sell them.so if your insole comes loose your out of luck.

I really like the style of these BUT after wearing them more than once it seems to have lost its structure and looks really worn out and I've barely worn them. I don't know if maybe I got one of low quality or this is typical. I got the tan beige ones and it looks strained near the seams and it even fits wide on me. It looks like it's falling apart. Disappointed at my first sperry-buy.

I ordered a pair of these to replace my old much-loved and worn pair of the same style and color. I ordered the same size as my old ones, but the soles of the new ones were about 3/4" shorter and 1/2" narrower than the older pair, so I returned the first pair and ordered a pair a half-size larger. The new pair were the correct length, but are still a bit narrow. The old pair was a rich, warm, textured brown. The new ones are a much lighter tan with yellow undertones and less variation in the leather making them look dull. The proportions of the shoes are also different than the older ones and my feet look longer in them. The logo on the shoes is different from that shown on the picture above. Those shoes are what I was hoping to receive, but so far, I haven't. I'm so disappointed at the changes in these shoes. They're still high-quality leather and craftsmanship, but the color and the sizing issues are making me rethink them. Unfortunately, stores don't carry my size, so I can't look around and try to find what I want. I'm not sure what I'll do now about a pair of comfortable casual shoes.

VERY narrow. I tried wearing them around house but could not get my toes into them without agony. I always take a narrow, so I don't know what went wrong here.

I ordered a C-wide, and ordered the larger of my inbetween sizes, and it felt like a double-narrow! The shape of the shoe is NOT the shape of most human feet. Couldn't even get my foot in past the vamp.

I ordered 2 pairs (different sizes) of these Sperry Top-Siders. First, they are supposed to be the same shoe, but they are not. The 6 1/2 has brushed leather (also came with dirty scuff marks.) The label on the inside sole is sewn so poorly that it is quite bumpy and irritating (the insole on the size 6 is smooth and you can't even feel it.) The size 6 has smooth leather with some shine (the 2 pairs look totally different.) Unfortunately, the stitching on the top is not even. The leather is scratched. Sperry used to be one of the makers of good, classic shoes, but their current quality control does not live up to their reputation. I've owned several pairs of Top-Siders throughout the years and always like them, but the hassle of finding a good pair outweighs that so I won't be reordering.

I'm so disappointed in these shoes. First is the width - these are *impossibly* narrow, even in the wide option! I know that Sperry's will stretch over time. I'm still annoyed and disappointed by this though Second is the color - not like the photo. In the photo, the sahara is more of a light chestnut color. The shoes I got are lighter yellow like sand (hence Saraha, I guess) or what you might call honey-colored hair. I think the chestnut is much more classic than this lighter color. That coupled with the width (which I knew about, and have gotten over with my current pair of Sperry's), I'm returning them.
