I alway wear a 8.5 in shoes. Had to return this because it was just too small on me. Order 1/2 size up.

I was disappointed when these arrived. I ordered them in the Mineral Blue/Amber and they looked like a metallic light green to me. I returned them because the color would not go with anything I owned.

I initially wrote a more positive review of these shoes until I wore them around the house. I have a bunion on my left foot. The strap on these sandals hits EXACTLY where my bunion is located and immediately caused pain. If you need a shoe with a wider toe box, this isn't the one for you. I really want a pair of Keen's, but I am unclear as to which ones (if any) would fit me better. Just a word of caution to anyone that has the same or similar problem. I'll will attempt to take these back now...

I used to wear Keen water shoes each summer, so I thought I'd give them a try again. I realized I like the old footbed. It was made of material that squished and formed to your foot. The new footbed is hard and not good for my feet. Too bad! I would have worn them like crazy if they felt better.

I have worn Keens (in various styles) almost exclusively for the past 10 to 12 years. With back, hip and knee problems plus low volume feet, I thought that I had found my shoes for life, but it seems that Keen has gone to the frivolous side. These shoes are a far cry from those. This Venice and a pair of Uneeks that I got earlier in the year do not have that fit that cradles my feet in that cocoon of perfect support from heel to toe. The arch support lacks that perfect rise that keeps my feet absolutely immobile, yet my toes perfectly free to wiggle at will. I do have hard to fit feet and thought that I had found my shoes for life. Why would Keen change something so perfect? Just for change's sake perhaps? I do not mind trying new styles but the comfort has to be there. I am sorry to see you go.

The Keen Venice shoes are great looking and I love the colors. However, I am returning them because I could not get a comfortable fit. The 11 was way too big. The 10.5 was better but still "sloppy" on the sides. Also, the heel cups were too "deep". I sunk into it and the tops rubbed my ankles.

When you get a good pair, Keens are great. But getting a good pair is difficult. Keens have ZERO quality control. I bought 100, yes 100, pairs just to find 5 pair that fit. I have pictures but there is no way to post them. I have sent the photos to Customer Service. The molded rubber sole either swallows the upper, making it too tight, or it barely holds the ends of the upper, making it so loose it rises over the ankle. IF Keens would use consistent quality control they would get 5 stars across the board.Until they do, having to try on 100 pair of shoes should earn them a 2.

I am normally a 9½-10, these 10s were too big (I ordered a different model in 9½, which fit). I was attracted to these because they look relatively normal, but honestly they are still so weird-looking that I am happier with the second pair, the Whisper in green/gray, because they do not look like they are trying to be anything but a water shoe. They provide decent arch support and the seams are all well covered from the inside, so they feel soft right out of the box and might not need much breaking in.

I love Keen Venice shoes! I have many of them. However, when trying to order a Black Venice I had a lot of trouble through Zappos. Zappos shows the Black Olive Surf Spray as being darker - almost black. However when ordering them, the shoes I received were light tan. I kept returning them thinking I was sent the wrong color. However I looked at Keen's site, and in fact Black Olive Surf Spray is a tan color, not black. The H2 color is just Black, and I did order some of those through Zappos and was sent the wrong size in the right box. Perhaps Keen's is not making a Black Venice (leather) anymore. Too bad.

I like the looks of these, as they are more open looking than many heavy duty walking/hiking sandals. But, they rubbed my foot behind the front straps. This rubbing on the inside of the foot where the skin is soft and easily cut meant they had to go back.

I bought these to wear on a trip to Israel that included much hiking and outdoor activities over tough terrain. They did just fine, but I wish I would have listened to the reviewer who complained about the large openings which allowed small stones to easily get inside and underfoot. They did not work well for me for that reason, and I ended up wearing my tennis shoes most of the time. Next time I go I will order a different style that pretty much covers the whole foot. I really appreciated the tough toe protection, however, and they gave me sure footing on the rocky paths the few times I wore them. Listening to the reviewers, I also ordered a half size larger than normal which fit perfect.

This is the last pair of Keens I'll be trying. I love the look and the reviews are great but they just don't work for my feet. Because my little toe is very short it popped out the side of the shoe. I tried a size smaller and it still happened plus it was tight on the top of my foot.

The black olive color is not at all black. It's an ugly sort of brownish tan color. It doesn't match what's on my monitor and it definitely isn't the color of a black olive! I see why it's on sale - so just be aware! Other than that, it's fine.

What happened to Keens? The toe box is too narrow and the foot bed is hard. I wish I could replace my old pair but can't find any Keen that fits!

I have now worn these 3 or 4 times, and they are very uncomfortable. After a few hours I just want to get home and take them off. The only way they work for me is if I wear them with socks, which totally defeats the purpose of having a waterproof sandal. Keep hoping they will soften up and not rub, but socks it's going to have to be. I should have returned them, but its just now turning spring up here and just starting to wear them.

I bought these shoes with high hopes based on the great recommendations that I read here. I wanted something that I could wear comfortably around Disney World - these were a bad choice. I had painful blisters on the bottom of my feet halfway through day one. I switched to my Keen Coronado's for the remainder of the trip and was good again.

I've purchased Keen’s for years and whereas the length and width on these are good, for some reason these give me blisters but too late to return because I wore them outside. Didn’t think to wear them around the house first because that’s never been necessary. Not sure what the issue is this time. Oh well.

A bit disappointed I have to send them back because they don't fit. These shoes were so narrow I could barely get my toes in!

I have two pairs of Keen Whispers that are so comfortable on my wonky feet. They are looking a bit tattered for a pending Spain trip so I bought the Venice. The leather is so stiff and it hurt my boney toes from the get-go. I bought my regular 9.5 size and my Morton toe touched the tip of the shoe. I'm sad because they are cute and because Keens always fit perfectly. Thank you Zappos for the free returns.

The Keen Venice sandals are so dorky looking that they're cute. The insoles are very hard on the feet and even though they were covered with material they made my feet very warm. I ordered the 8.5 and they were a bit big for me but I could tell that an 8 would've been too small. I wore them in the house for all of 15 minutes and couldn't wait to get them off my feet. Gee, what a surprise - they are made in China. I will be returning them ASAP.
