A great shoe! I was a little skeptical at first, given the look of the shoe, but it really is great! It's great for walking, hiking, and general every day use.

Quality as expected; comfort less than expected - These shoes are as great as expected when I am in motion, i.e., camping, walking, running errands, keeping up with my small kids. They are a disappointment, however, when it comes to standing or sitting around, as my feet feel hot and uncomfortable on the insoles. On a recent camping trip, I found that they did dry quickly, as promised. This was helpful. On the beach, I find I agree with other reviewers who say that sand gets stuck inside. This is a minor inconvenience. I would still recommend these shoes for their quality, look, versatility and comfort in motion. Definitely follow the manufacturer's advice and order them a half size larger than your usual shoe size.

Sized too short - I am still waiting to see if I can figure out how to get this shoe in a size a half larger--since it runs short for a woman's 11, but you don't carry an 11 and a half. They remain here in the box. Meanwhile my left heel has been very painful and in need of a well made shoe with arch support! Perhaps a man's version of the same shoe could fit me; I am not sure. I want to try it on in a store near home.

Venice blue - Extremely comfortable but not too attractive. But then I'm not sure one can have both.

Cute and sporty - I got it in robin's egg blue. Really cute with jeans! I have high arches and shoe arches are never in the right place for my foot. This shoe is no exception, however the built in arches do not bother me too much. I read that everyone felt this shoe was small. To me it felt true to size.

Great shoe, a few small problems - I originally bought these shoes because I was teaching a field-based aquatic biology course and needed to walk in ponds, rivers, lakes...you name it. The shoes are very comfortable and stayed on well, even when I was 6 inches deep in leech-invested pond mud! My only complaint was that after 3 weeks of this, the color changed from a sage green to a somewhat vomit brown. Washing did not help. They also retain foot odor fabulously. Maybe I should have expected those issues, but I think a shoe like this (and at this price) is made for performance, is supposed to get wet and should be able to handle that stress. Even with those problems, they're so versatile and comfortable that I'm thinking of getting a second pair for everyday use and saving these as my water shoes.

VERY comfortable sandal and I love that my toes are protected. Living in New Hampshire, we go to the beach, to the mountains and everywhere in between. This sandal is so versatile in any situation. One drawback is that, like any sandal, debris gets inside and under my feet easily. This shoe keeps my feet nice and cool. I receive so many compliments with this on and I bought some for my pre-schooler, too. Just wish they made the Venice style in neutral browns, grays and blacks.

Sizing is short - These are at least a full size shorter than what they are marked. They do make your feet look bigger than they are and they are a bit dorky looking, but they are very comfortable...Thanks to Zappos, I can return them for a larger size without a shipping fee.

Good outdoor sports shoe - This is the first non-sneaker sports shoe I've bought. It is lightweight and really fits pretty securely against your foot so there is no rubbing. The lining is very soft, so there are no "edges" against your feet, no binding against your Achilles tendon. If I had to give a negative, it is a shoe that is much wider than my foot; it's not exactly a snow shoe effect, but there is more material there than I am used to.

Keen Venice - I bought a pair of Keen hiking boots before these and thought they were the most comfortable shoes ever. These are very comfortable too, although I think they are just a tiny bit small, i.e., my big toes are at the end of the shoe and I don't normally wear shoes that way. The big black reinforced toe is a little clunky, but for an outdoorsy type sandal, they are wonderful.

Nice shoes - This shoe is made well, I have not worn them that much yet and I think they will be more comfy as I break them in. I love KEEN shoes and have 16 pair. This is the only pair I have of this style. The strap by the ankle on one of them rubs a bit too much but I am hoping this will fix itself as time goes on.

Pam's Keens - I have three pair of Keens and now wear nothing else. I absolutely adore the look of my Powder Venice sandals. I walk around my farm in them on occasion and find that the toes fill with dirt and I must clean them out frequently for comfort. Not a problem for the overall comfort they provide.

Fun shoe! This is going to be a great addition to my summer footwear. It's comfortable and cute. The only thing is I think it's a little shorter than I had planned on. I ordered a 7.5, and it feels more like a 7. Luckily, it will work.

Comfy - I like em! Not only that, I've already washed them a number of times and they look and feel the same as the first day I put them on! The only problem with them is that you get rocks in if walking on a dirt road or trail and the rocks aren't easily shaken out of the toe like on a normal sandal. Otherwise a great shoe. I'd even buy another pair.

Keen - My feet "slosh" around in this shoe, but it does what it is supposed to do, so I am keeping it. I will still reach for my Tevas when being around the boat and walking on rocks, but this shoe will be great for the beach!

A good everything shoe. I can go play with the kids and not worry what we get into.

I wish they felt better. They hurt my big toes if I wear them too long. This is my first time trying a Keen. Maybe they run small?

I tried these on AGAIN as the next 1/2 size up is still unavailable. My 2nd Opinion is they stull feel "clunky" & NOT in a Good Way. I love my Keen Kaci Clogs and have worn the "Original" Chaco sandals for years: Both are Clunky shoes. I think I really would need a Size 9 in these. The insole does rise just a tad as it joins the straps: Not a big incline and NOT a raised lip - but my bunionette (or side on my foot) could be VERY unhappy. I will try the Keen Newport if it gets Re-Stocked soon. Really disappointed as these would be great for taking walks (with cute socks as I live where many deer pass through). Try them. The leather is really nice even for Summer!

My main complaint is the difference between the picture on the website and the actual shoe. The shoe in the picture looks black, which is what I want. I ordered the color called black/olive, thinking that the shoe would be black and the trim would be olive. At least, that's what the picture implies. When I opened the box, I was surprised to see that the shoes are actually brown. Boo.

Ordered my normal size but my toe was hitting the edge. I was afraid to size up because the back strap does not adjust around the ankle, and I have a narrow heel.

Super bummed it was so small.

I have tried every style of Keen sandal out there. The toe box is simply too rounded for my foot. My big toe is longer than my other toes, and Keens are apparently made for people whose second toe is longest. These Venice sandals seem like they could possibly fit, if I could get the right size (9 1/2). Why, or why, do shoe manufacturers quit making half sizes after size 9? Size 9 is too small; size 10 is too large. I wish I could find a pair of hiking sandals that fit!

Only 3 stars due to inconsistent sizing from one pair to another in exactly the same style. I own this exact style of Keens in a size 9 that fit perfectly. So I ordered another size 9, but this pair is way to small. Need to return these.

I love the looks of this shoe. I have a very high arch & I could not get my foot into this shoe. I ordered a half size larger but it still does not work. I wear other Keen shoes, but sorry I must send this one back.

This sandal has changed. My previous pair of Venice sandals were beautiful and well made. This new pair was narrower, although very slightly, but my feet noticed the difference. Also the foot bed was not as soft. The leather straps were messy and did not have a nice finish to them as my previous pair did. I returned them.
