Didn't realize how horrible my old shoes were until I put these on. Feel wonderful and look great, too!

Great shoe - Very comfortable. They have the cushion and support I need with bad knees. I visited with a Zappos fit specialist before purchasing since I had had trouble with my knees with my last NB shoe W767AW. I always go up a half size in exercise shoes.

I've been wearing this model for more than 10 years as it transitioned from a 990 to a 991 then to the 992. The wide toe box continues to comfortably accommodate changes in my feet (bunions). They are sturdy and the thick cushioning definitely protects knee & hip joints. I love the black/grey model!

Comfy and great for problem feet! These shoes are absolutely awesome! I have wide, flat feet with a high instep and finding comfortable runners is always a challenge. I added my own orthotics to these and they fit beautifully. Zappos rocks...

THE BEST - I had five (yes, 5) surgeries in my left foot, the last two of which were for nerve impingements caused by malpractice. If those surgeries had not been successful, I would never have walked again. I got through my recovery wearing New Balance, which enabled me to walk. Now, more than a year later, I'm back in regular shoes, but I LOVE my New Balance. Would never be without a pair. They are THE BEST for walking and exercise.

Well worth It - I was looking for a good walking show that was comfortable and supportive. I found what I was looking for in this sneaker. I have to admit that its a bit "blah" looking (I went for the grey) and I wish there was a bit more style to it. I also have to admit that I am now 6 months pregnant and the shoes now feel a bit tight. Not the shoe's fault though, this happened with my last pregnancy too. All in all, happy with my purchase.

Great Sneaker!!!! I love this sneaker. I have very bad feet and have had surgery a few times. My heels feel wonderful in these shoes. I didn't need to break them in at all!!

Great running shoe - This is a fine piece of equipment. It's a sturdy shoe, comfortable and sassy. I usually by Nike but wanted to try NB and I'm really happy with it. Not cheap, but it will last.

Great Support & Comfort - I have a wide foot and need good support. These shoes are excellent overall in comfort, looks and support.

992's - My new 992's are comfy and easy to wear! Love them! I wish they came in more colors, though. I got the cool gray and just changed the shoestrings to pink to add a little more color to mine!

W992 - This shoe is extremely comfortable and offers excellent support. I highly recommend the shoe for walking or jogging.

BEST SNEAKER EVER! I love these shoes. Comfy. Cute. Retro. Good color. I keep buying the same shoe. I just adore it. Zappos rocks!

Not the cutest I've ever worn, but they are certainly comfortable. I have a slightly wide foot and usually buy NB wides, but something about this one makes my foot look B-I-G. But I didn't buy them to look cute; they cushion the impact on my arthritic knees when I walk, and *that's* why I bought them.

New Balance running shoes rock! My podiatrist told me to get New Balance running shoes for my plantar fasciitis. They are extremely comfortable & I wish I had started wearing them sooner before I got the foot problem!

Just Looking for Comfort - The NB 926 is by far the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I thought, perhaps, going up a number and into a running shoe I would find more comfort. No so, but a damn fine shoe nevertheless.

So... comfortable - These sneakers are arguably the most comfortable ones I have ever owned. I feel as if I am walking on air. I've walked for miles, no problems at all.

Running Shoe With Good Stability - I have narrow feet (AA) and this shoe comes in Narrow while many running shoes don't. I'd recommend a 1/2 size larger than your regular shoe size. I have a touch of plantar fasciitis (arch soreness) in my right foot and I'm very pleased with the comfort and stability of this shoe.

Always pleased with New Balance products- I have worn the 992 before and for me, it’s a shoe that I can do everything in, and it doesn’t hurt my feet. The toe box is high enough not to squish my delicate toes!!!

Suede can get wet - In response to the reviewer who was worried about the suede getting wet... My grey suede pair got completely submerged in a puddle during a South Florida thunderstorm but the suede still looks great. I did not even spray the shoe with water repellent beforehand.

Great shoe - I was fitted for this shoe by the pedorthist who made my orthotics. This shoe accommodates orthotics well and provides excellent support. This is the best shoe for those who suffer knee pain; in fact, I own it in all four colors. This is the first time that I have bought multiple pairs of the same sneaker. I highly recommend it!

The best New Balance I have ever found - This shoe is the best of all the New Balance shoes I have purchased. It accommodates a major foot brace I must use in only one shoe and the second shoe still fits perfectly. I have worn many different brands and discovered New Balance a few years ago and shall continue to buy them for as long as they are made the way they are. I have tried other styles by New Balance and this is the BEST.

Worried about the suede - I just bought these shoes, I think they are gorgeous and also have orthotics that fit perfectly. I live in my NB's, but am terrified to wear them because of the suede. I bought water repellent and have put it on them, but I haven't worn them once yet because I keep thinking I'll totally ruin them. I live in S. Florida, so it's always wet. I'd love to hear feedback as I've seen nothing on the web about whether anyone has experienced a problem with the suede being ruined by weather. I don't want to return them!!!!! :) Thanks

Thank God, Finally! At last, after buying and returning several pairs of New Balance, Asics, and Brooks running shoes, I have found my mates. This is pretty much the only running shoe that I don't wince to look at, and it offers great stability and support. I wear a 9 in street shoes, originally ordered a 10 which is what I wear in running shoes, but found it much too big. The 9.5s are perfect! I have Soft Sole Stable Trac inserts in them, and my feet feel great. Thanks, NB and Zappos!

Just as expected - I was not disappointed with the W992. They fit well for my wide foot with bunions. Also the toe box is ample. I'm very satisfied and hope NB continues producing this shoe. I did like the 991s but cannot find them anymore.

Great sneaks - Thanks to Zappos I have the perfect high stability sneaker that's not hideous. No complaints and NBs are one of the few sneakers you can buy that are made in the US.
