Easiest footwear purchase I've ever made - I love the Keen's Providence. They are extremely comfortable and that's saying alot coming from me, I move from morning till night. Other reviews advised to order a half size up, I did and they fit perfectly!!!!

Great Shoes - These are really comfortable shoes. If your feet are thick near your ankle these may feel tight. Make sure that you try them on in a store first. They also run about 1/2 size smaller, so you will need a larger size than usual. They fit like gloves.

Great shoes - Shoes are unusual, but cool- everyone looks and asks. Great for walking long distances and wearing all day. They are little wide, so I have to double up socks, or buy heavyweights. Love them!

Keen Providence - These are my 5th pair of Keen shoes. Technically, my second pair of actual "shoes" and not sandals. So, it's pretty obvious I love Keen shoes. This particular pair is very comfortable and extremely roomy. I brought these with me on my recent trip to London and they did very well by my feet. Style-wise they are not the most hip but, after spending one day walking around London in my high-heel boots, I didn't care. I can't rave enough about Keen!

I needed a comfortable, slip on shoe to wear as an alternative to tennis shoes. These fit the bill, however they do rub a little underneath my ankle. I had to put an additional insert under my heel to compensate.

1st pair - Very comfortable shoe! They are getting too dirty--like another person wrote they can be hard to "slip on"

Keen Providence Winter shoes - I am now the owner of 2 Keen shoes, one summer sandal and the Providence winter shoe! I really enjoy this manufacturer's shoe designs, colors, and overall comfort. 4 women in my community "copied" me and bought the sandal this summer! What a testamonial for Keen! Keen's tend to run small. I am typically a 9.5 womens and in the sandal I needed to go to a 10 and in the Providence, I needed to return a 10 and go to an 11! The Providence's design is less than average in the opening. It did not stretch enough for me to get my foot into it until I went to an 11!. I am finding that the size 11 is only a 3 in cmfort because the outside upper edge of the shoe hits into my ankle bone. Maybe because it is 1.5 sizes larger than I typically need. I am wearing a bankaid until I break them in! Please pass these comments on to Keen. I love their shoes, overall, and only wish the Providence was not hitting my ankle bone!

Awesome! The only thing this shoe needs is a shoe horn because it's a little tough to put on; but once it's on, it looks good and it feels great.

good looks but tight fit - I have a pair of mules and they are fantastic but these do not have that same comfortable fit. The front goes high up on your foot and I can only get them on with thin socks.

Why Change a Good Thing? I own two pair of the Providence style with the perforations and was very excited to see that Keen now makes the same shoe without the perforations. I ordered a pair in my size, but discovered that they were too short. Thinking it was a fluke, I returned the first pair and ordered a sceond pair. They were also short. The insole in the new shoes was a full 1/4 inch shorter than the insole in the perforated version. So I returned the second pair and ordered a third pair in a half size larger. The fit was awful - the arch hit my foot in the wrong place and my foot slid to the front of the shoe. I don't know what Keen has done - this shoe should be identical to the perforated version that I already own, but it is very different. I was very disappointed, since I really like the looks of this shoe. I own six pair of Keen shoes, five different styles. All are extremely comfortable and are consistent in size. This new Providence is the exception. If you decide to buy this shoe, beware! They run almost a full size short!
