The best everyday shoes! These shoes are great. It took about 2 days to break them in. I'm glad I read other reviews before ordering - you must order a 1/2 size up for them to fit. I wear a size 10 and the shape of the shoes makes them look smaller. There is nice arch support. And the protected toe keeps them looking good.

The best Keens yet! I've been wearing Keen sandals all summer, so I gave these Providence shoes a try for the winter. They are phenomenal! They are comfortable enough to teach in all day, and their flexible look is appropriate for both work and home. I highly recommend these shoes!

Providence Great Shoe - I have a couple of pairs of the H2 & LOVE them! With winter aproaching I needed a outdoor walking shoe. I just got them & love them also. I am always in search of the most comfortable walking shoe, I feel this is #1...

I'm hooked - I love these shoes! They are so comfortable. These are the second style of Keens that I have gotten (so far), and I love them just as much. I did need a half size larger than I normally wear, so I was glad to have read that before buying my first pair of Keens.

They are worth every penny - These are very comfortable shoes. The only thing I would caution is they do run small and considering you would want to wear socks with them, you need to take that into consideration when you are purchasing. They are excellent and worth every penny.

I love these shoes!!! Keen's are the best. This is my second pair and I can't wait to order another style. These shoes are so comfortable - I wear them all the time. I ordered a half size larger then usual and they fit great. Zappos is great too - I got the shoes the very next day!!

Awesome pair of shoes! These are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have bought in a long time. I took these to British Columbia and hiked in them. They were great! I would like to try boot in this style. They are very water proof. Highly recommend this shoe!

Is this shoe good for over-pronators? I just bought this shoe and am testing it at home. So far it seems comfortable. But I'm wondering, for longer walks, if it's good for someone overweight who also over-pronates? Any over-pronators out there who've worn this and if so, how did it do?

Keen Providence - I am delighted with my purchase of the Keen Providence shoe. I have just recently found this shoe and i have bought 2 other Keen products. They are extremely comfortable and i like the look. The selection of styles and colors is very exciting and I just plain love this shoe!!!!!!

Keens are great! My kids love their Keens! Not much more need be said!

Another comfortable Keen - I recently discovered Keens and my feet fell in love. I have the seattle and the newport which are both great. Now that fall is here I was looking for a style that would take me into the cool weather and decided on the providence. Like my other keens, I ordered 1/2 size up and they fit great. The ultimate in comfort.

Wonderful! These shoes are very comfortable, roomy and an excellent choice if you walk or spend a lot of time on your feet.

The sizing runs small - Beware when you buy, I am always a size 7.5 but I ordered 2 different keen shoes and both were too small. You should order 1/2 size up.

New, old favorites - This is my second pair of Keens, as soon as I put them on they were as comfy as my Seattle's which I have had for 6mo. Having super high arches I have a hard time finding cool shoes that don't need extra insoles, these are great! no extra support needed. They are a tiny bit hard to get into, if I get the boots, I'll definitely need a shoe horn!

My search for work shoes - I've been hunting for years, to find shoes that don't hurt by the end of the day. I saw a woman at the airport wearing Keen's. It looked like her foot had been dipped, it was so form fitting. I ordered a pair as soon as I got home. I was pleasantly surprised shipping was free and they arrived in 2 DAYS! I'm still getting use to them, my arches are bad, but the shoes are very supportive. The toebox is roomy and the shoe it's self is very light. I use thin socks for the best fit and comfort.

Keen's Providence---Grand Slam - As Director of Athletics, I am on my feet most of the day. My days are spent both inside and outside taking care of athletic fields and courts, etc. as well as teaching. The Providence serves both purposes in grand fashion. No back aches, no wet feet, and lots of compliments. There will always be at least one pair of keens in my wardrobe! The ease of shopping Zappos goes unmatched.

I'm a recent Keen convert and feel I have discovered the perfect shoe for my line of work! I work with young children and am outdoors at least half the day in sand, mud and wet grass! Keen shoes are definitely durable enough to stand up to the elements and yet they are so funky and stylish! Providence is my third pair of Keens. I have the Seattle in red and black and love them! The Providence is sturdy and the top stiching gives it almost an old-world, handmade feel. They look a little like stylish elf shoes....and in my favorite moss green color! Couldn't be happier! Zappos is definitely the way to buy Keens--huge selection....more shoes to choose from than any store I've been to. Plus, a free shipping and return policy that can't be beat!

Great winter shoe - I love my Keen Santa Cruz clogs, but they're not as comfortable with socks, too slippery. The Providence are going to be my winter shoes when socks are required. I can't imagine wearing any other shoes than Keens right now. Like pillows for your feet!

Providence Rocks! This shoe is really, really comfortable and is perfectly made for what my dear husband calls my 'fat little Fred Flintstone feet.' (They're not THAT fat, but they're a b-width and smallish, so they kinda look that way.) I appreciated that the shoe I received was EXACTLY the color depicted on line -- pumpkin. I was a little worried. My only critcism, and it's tiny, is that they are a bit hard to put on. A complementary shoe horn would be great -- hint hint! (Lands End sends them with slip-ons....) Great, prompt service from Zappos. You are my new best friends!

Keen on Keens - I currently own and wear four pairs of keens, from clogs to the current providence style. Each time I purchase a new style I think to myself these are the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever had. But Keen continues to design and style each product with its own level of flexibility and style. The new Providence I find especially versitable as I can go from the office to the weekend.

The three k's... This shoe covers the three k's perfectly...kool looking, komfortable fit, and totally Keen ! ! ! Very few shoes fit me as well as these do...with arch support that actually exists, room for my toes to wiggle and the ability to put up with the abuse I dish out. Consider me VERY KEEN on Keen's ! ! !

Pretty good overall TRY FIRST THOUGH! For starters if you want to buy these shoes you need to find them locally and try them on before buying online. I am a true size 7.0 but due to my high forward arches am more comfortable with a 7.5 and with KEEN shoes I couldn't even get my foot into the 8.0 I just fit into the 8.5 comfortably. Sized VERY small. The waterproof description should be changed to water-resistant. Other than that very comfortable and they really are non-slip. I wear mine on fishing boats in alaska and they are GREAT for at sea. Expect a few heel blisters during your break in but after that they are super comfortable. Nice stable feel due to wide sole base too!

Great Looking Shoe - I have received more positive reviews on this shoe than most any I have ever owned. I bought the plum color, which is pleasantly neutral but still unusual. My only complaint is the total lack of arch support, making the shoe quite roomy from a height standpoint. With an insert it fits perfectly but bear in mind if your feet are thin or have high arches. Also, the Keen shoes tend to tilt up at the toes, which feels great now but took a little acclimation. Overall, I really like the shoe.

I bought these shoes because I was looking for a comfortable, waterproof shoe for an upcoming trip to Ireland this winter. The style is beautiful and funky, and I'm glad I chose the leather over the nubuck. The claim that they're waterproof seems to be true. When I first started to wear them they rubbed on the outside ankle bones of both feet, and I've tried to find a way to raise my heel a little to correct this. So far I've been somewhat successful, but because of the way the insole of the shoe curves up at the heel, it's been hard to find something to put in that doesn't also have this feature. They're not as easy-on as I'd hoped - I have to use my finger in the back to keep the top edge of the shoe from turning under as my foot slides in.
