great shoe - I ordered a half size up based on trying them on elsewhere and the reviews here. I think I may order another pair in my true size. These are great only with thin socks they are now a TINY bit big. I love them. They are great in the rain. They pick up stuff in the tread but I live on a farm and am always in stuff. I would buy these over and over.

officially a Keen junkie now - This is my third pair of Keens, and I've just about sworn off of any other brand (okay, I love my Merrell chameleons and my Danskos, but they play second fiddle). I started with the originals this summer, got some Seattles this fall, and now I'm sleeping in my Providences. The comfort factor is unbeatable: I have hiked in them, camped in them, taken them as my only shoes on a trip, and I never feel foot fatigue or style boredom. They are the best. Period. Nuff said.

Just Say No to Pointy Toed Shoes! These shoes are too cute for words! I just love, love, love the way they look. I would, however, have to recommend ordering a half size up. Also don't be disappointed if the outside of the shoe looks a bit scuffed up. They look tough this way! Have fun stomping around!

Comfort first - I found these very comfortable. They do need a little break in time. No blisters or anything like that. The leather just needs to soften a bit. I love the fact that my toes don't feel cramped. When you do a lot of yoga and your feet spread, you'd really appreciate this. A little clunky looking, but comfort was my first priority when choosing these shoes. I'm going to order the sandals next.

Keen Providence - Most comfortable shoe I own! I would sleep in them if I could! I like the wide footbed. I had to order a half size larger than I usually wear. This is a very comfortable shoe that is definitely worth the money!

Keen Providence - Purchased this shoe for my wife on Zappos due to great service in the past. When they arrived the next day I thought I'd made a shipping mistake - turns out the company upgraded me to next day air for nothing! Great service continues to be the rule. (She also loves the shoes).C.

Sheer Comfort - I looked for a comfortable shoe for quite some time before I found this one. I was very impressed by the fact that it is water resistant, yet doesn't make your feet perspire.

Keen Shoes Are Awesome - Love the shoes however they appeared used when I received them. The suede outersole was very scratched up. Thought about returning them, but needed the shoes too badly.

Gotta get these shoes! I'm already a Keen shoe fan - got the perforated Providence in funky plum, and just recently purchased the Providence clogs in Bison (will not show the dirt). I'm probably crazy getting yet another pair of the Providence, this time in a color that will show grim, but who cares? They are very cool and I don't give a flip if someone thinks they look odd. I have decided odd is good, very good, if they feel great on, fit my feet, and make me laugh when I look down at them! "Viva la difference' "

Extremely satisfied - One of the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn...I have a narrow foot so they fit true to size and do not slip off...just so pleased with the bison color too just right for the fall/winter.

AWEsome! The Providence slip ons are the best shoes that I have bought in a VERY long time. A firm believer in comfort and practical footwear, I was drawn to these shoes after having great results wearing Keen NewportH2s during the summer...I have NOT been disappointed. The Providence shoes are great for wearing at work (I'm a massage therapist & therefore spend A LOT of time on my feet!). They are also FABULOUS for walking the dog (they truly are WATERPROOF). If you love comfort and funky style and are looking for a great pair of shoes that will serve you well at work & at play then the providence is for you!

Awesome Pumkin Providence Keens - These shoes are the best! I've been wearing them for a couple of weeks now and each time, someone asks what kind of shoe they are and where I got them. They remark how comfy they look and they're right. I normally have a hard time with shoes because I have wide feet, but these account for that and are instantly comfy, not to mention cool looking. It's so hard to find fun AND comfy shoes these days. My husband and I are sold on other styles of Keen's also.

Pumpkin Providence are Too Cool! These Providence in Pumpkin are so fun to wear. I fell in love with Keen with my first pair. They have room for all of my toes, and support to keep me comfortable all day on my feet. Plus they look great and are reasonably priced for such well made shoes. The question becomes how many pairs one needs/wants since they come in so many neat styles and colors. The Providence fit a touch shorter than the Boston and Jamestown styles, but stay on the foot very well. The next half size up was too long.

My Favorite Keen's - These are my favorites of all 4 pair I have. They go on easy, and stay really dry...unless of course you step in a really deep puddle...

All star! What can I say beyond these shoes were exactly what I wanted: cool-looking and comfy, wearable with or without sox, with pants or skirts. They're so fab, I may have inadvertently started a craze for them in my office. But btw: one reviewer mentioned that she had to go a size up because she couldn't get her foot in, these couldn't be more perfectly true to my size.

Best casual shoe - I love these. I have to stop myself from wearing them everyday, so I get to wear other shoes. They are great with jeans, sweats, whatever, for hiking, around town, winter beach trips. I love these.

The Keen Providence are perfect! These shoes have everything I wanted--comfort, style and color, and they fit a bit wide in the front area which was great for me, since I usually wear a D width. Zappo's upgraded my shipping to two days with no extra shipping charges, which was even better than their normal free regular shipping. Also, I ordered 1/2 size larger, since the other Zappo's reviews for this item said they ran a little small, and they fit great!

Soooooo sweet - I love these shoes. In reading the other reviews I ordered a half size up and they fit great. The quality is top notch.

great shoes - I love these shoes. I always wear Dansko clogs and I was looking for an alternative. They are very comfortable, wide and they look good with looks of things - long skirts, jeans, etc.

Perfect Autumn Shoe - I love the look of this shoe and the waterproof leather allowing it to accomodate changeable autumn weather. Make sure you order a half size larger than normal. I had to return the first pair, too small. I have ultra-narrow heels am having no problem with this in these shoes and I do a lot of walking. The comfort level is growing, I needed a break-in period. As the shoe softens, it becomes more comfortable. I use them as all purpose shoes and recommend them to anyone. I also recommend Zappos.com. This company rocks. They provided free shipping and handling on both of my transactions, sent my 2nd pair out, next day delivery, before I had even shipped my return order. I appreciate their prompt, friendly service and no hassle shopping, encouraging online shopping.

KEEN'S are so comfortable! I really like these shoes! I've been wanting to try a pair of Keen's for months now, but I hesitated because of the price. My husband treated me to the moss colored Providence- they are wonderful...and worth the price!!! I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5 depending on the shoe. I got these in an 8.5 and they fit great. If you are one solid size, though, I would recommend going to the next larger half size like others are suggesting. The elastic gores take a few wearings to develop enough "give" to get your foot in and out easier but stay snug enough so that the shoe doesn't feel like it is going to fall off when you walk. Also, these are for people with average to wide feet...not for those with narrow! Others may think they are not very attractive, but I like the way they look! A pair of low top, lace-up Bronx's are next on my list of must-haves!!!

best Alaska shoes - I just received my Keen Providence shoes and have not worn anything else since. They are perfect for a wet, cold climate. While they are not the most gorgeous shoe, they are definitely the most comfortable and practical shoe I have worn in my 16 years in SE Alaska. Thank you for the suggestion to order a half size up; I did and they fit perfectly right out of the box and are getting better.
