My favorites - I LOVE these shoes! They are much more comfortable than regular Cons, because there is a bit more support. I don't get blisters at all. The laces and lace tips are upgraded, so they look classier, and they are more streamlined. I'm a woman and love them. (I also know a guy who loves them too, so there you go.)

Not Bad - I was very pleased with the speed of delivery and the free shipping. The shoes are fine, but not quite as comfortable as I had hoped.

Updated version of the original all stars - Great shoes. Some changes have been made to the original all stars, which make them a little nicer. The sole is more molded than glued/stitched, so I don't think the sole will come apart as easily. Along with this it seems the footprint is slightly smaller; the sole isn't quite so chunky, which does make the shoe look smaller (maybe somewhere in between Keds and Chucks). The insole is also significantly improved. It's removable and has four or five plastic stays built in to improve arch support. The laces have metal tips. The eyelets/grommets are oblong. I also like the color-scheme (I got the brown), it makes them a little more subtle. The stripe on the toe is wider, which I think diminishes the big, white toe (which also has more of a matte finish than the original). Great shoes that I think will last longer than the original all stars. (Also, follow the same half size down sizing thumb rule.)

The unofficial new version of Chucks... These shoes are just as stylish as Chuck All Stars, but are surprisingly ultra comfortable. I went a half size down just like purchasing Chucks, and they fit like a glove. Although, I don't think they would hold up very well in highly rigorous situations. I got my pair in black and I'm also getting a pair in brown. I alternate these with a pair of Air Zoom 2K5s to go to work in and they withstand eight hours of errands in the office a day. There's a thick insole in the bed of the shoe which makes it seem like you are walking on air. I some times forget I'm wearing them because of the great quality of the cushioning. I only wish there were a black and white pair like the original Chucks (white laces, white high lights, and the rest black). Maybe Converse will make that a color way one day. Anyways--awesome shoes. And with the expedited shipping Zappos gives--worth every penny!

Rock star shoes - These shoes look and feel great- I have the chocolate brown ones-- not only are the shoes great but they arrived the next day even though I ordered them around 4pm. It was unbelievable!

Excellent - Unlike Converse: Chuck Taylor, these shoes fit true to size. I ordered the Red and Parchment and they stand out with any outfit, and the oval hoops are a nice change. The shoe also provides ample arch support.

Awesome Shoes! These Converse Premieres (canvas) are AWESOME SHOES! Right out the box they are incredibly comfortable. These new premieres also stayed true to the original Chuck Taylor appeal, very classic, but with a modern touch (and ARCH SUPPORT). Same Converse game plan, go half a size down from your normal. Without a doubt this will not be my last pair of Premieres.

Outstanding Shoe - Fantastic Shoe. These shoes are so comfortable I had to buy 2 pairs one red one parchment. I really like the look and style. I've worn these all day with no problems. Make sure you order a half size smaller than your normal size.

Great for feet w/deep arches - I liked the look of Converse but always found the toe area too narrow and footbed lacking sufficient arch support. The Premiere series though have been very comfortable. They have great arch support (my feet have high arches) and I was able to walk in them for long distances without my feet hurting (unlike normal shoes without arch support). I went backpacking in Europe for a week and walked all over in them. I also wore them through my trip in Hong Kong. They're still holding up (though the bottom heel is curving/thinning out and the rubber rim binding the canvas is cracking; I'm gonna get another pair soon).

Modern Classic!!! I've been looking for these shoes. Totally cool and looks so great on jeans. But guys remember if you're size 9, buy the size 8.5. It's good I tried it first at DSW but they're out of 8.5. Thank God for Zappos.com!

Holy crap! These shoes are amazing. I couldn’t stop staring at them after I put them on. It’s the second day and I still can’t help but check my feet out in 'em. Make sure you go the usual Chuck Taylor route and ORDER A HALF SIZE DOWN! These shoes look amazing with jeans. A classic with modern and refined lines.

Improvements! Converse has stood the test of time. But THESE are actually an improvement on the old with some good arch support! Awesome awesome shoes!

Great shoes, awesome colors. These shoes are killer. A nice little step up from normal Chucks. Most important to note, they are closer to my dress shoe size than my athletic shoe size. I normally wear a 13 in basketball or running shoes and a 12 in dress shoes. These were WAY too big in a 13. 12 fits great.

Nice wheels!! I found this to be a very comfortable, true to size shoe.

Get these. Comfortable right out the box! I've only had them for about 12 hours and I'm already obsessed with them. For a shoe with such a low profile outsole, these kicks have good support. Certainly not something you want to run or play sports in, but for just hangin' out, these shoes rock! The canvas uppers feel like a comfortable sock that molds to the form of your foot, so you almost forget you're wearing them. A great look to accompany your favorite pair of jeans.

Absolutely Awesome - These are my first pair of Converse shoes. I was skeptical of all the glowing reviews, but I really liked how the shoe looked. I decided to order them and they are now my favorite pair of shoes. The mold to my feet like a glove and are very comfortable and stylish. I can tell they will last a while. 5 stars all around.

A must - I bought the premiere All Star Converses after I saw my brother had them. I instantly fell in love with them and looked all through out stores to find them in my size. With no luck I resorted to online shopping (which I don’t do often) and came right to this site. It was amazingly simple to figure out and the shoes came fast. They go with everything and breaking them in at the O.C fair didn’t hurt a bit. They only come in guy sizes so I counted back two and they fit perfectly. I highly suggest them.

Sweet Update on a Classic - These are super cool. Same profile and shape, but much more comfortable with the orthopedic insert. I got the canvas since I live in FL. Nice details--the brass eyelets are slightly elliptical rather than circular, the laces have brass caps rather than plastic and are of thicker, more textured material. The classic Chuck fit used to be a good 1/2 - 1 size large but these are much truer.

Great first experience - This shoe is exactly what I wanted. I needed something that looked nicer than a running shoe, but wasn't as heavy as a dress shoe. My wife insisted that I look on this site, but I was skeptical. I had never shopped for shoes on line before, but the huge selection and easy return policy won me over. I wear a 12.5, so it was great to be able to buy a 12 and a 13 and know I could easily send one back. I went with the 12, and it is great.

Mellow trendy shoe - A bit more arch support than most Converses which have none. I mean, not orthotics or anything, but a little. Very light breathable canvas instead of the really heavy stuff make these shoes good for hot San Fernando Valley summers!

Chucks with support - These are like the regular All-Stars but have a removable orthotic-like in-sole that has a lot more arch support than their cousins. The canvas is a bit lighter-weight - this is more of a summer shoe - and overall construction is a higher standard - for example, the eyelets are metal, not plastic. Sizing is like regular Chucks: order a half size down. This is especially important in this shoe because the in-sole will not feel right if you don't get the right size - the arch will be in the wrong position.

The classic style of the All Star plus added comfort of arch support and cushioning. Very cool shoes. Also, better grip on wet city sidewalks. Anyone in standard Chucks who has stepped on a wet grate knows what I'm talking about.

I like em - I love these kicks...I had gotten them based on looks but wearing them gave me a better appreciation...good everyday sneakers.

Great update - Love the historical Chucks but this upgrade stays the course on fit and comfort. One tweak - toss the fat insoles that come stock and replace with some neutral insoles ... but great shoe!

As COol as the CHuck's - but more support. Great fit for a big foot.
