Better than the original - These Converse are a hundred times more comfortable than the standard All-Stars and they look great too!

My second pair - These shoes are quite comfortable and have great arch support, contrast to most Converse. Although after wearing these Converse for about two or three months, the oval rivets began to rip away, but this is just wear and tear, not how the shoe is manufactured.

Updated classic - A nice update to a classic shoe. A bit snugger and more fitted than the standard Chuck. A nice complement to a pair of classic Chucks, but not a replacement. Wish there were more colors available.

I really enjoy my All Stars and feel they will meet your approval too. As you see I rated them across the board as fives. Another thing I will mention is my satisfaction with Zappos. On a previous purchase the shoe was too big so I returned it for a smaller size - Zappos paid the postage and bam, I had my shoes that fit. So as you see I like the shoes, the company and I'm a happy camper (no tents please). Douglas

Much more comfortable than regular All Stars - These actually have a bit of an arch and don't make it feel like you're walking barefoot like regular All Stars do. Plus they look cool.

All Stars- Great fit and comfort. Fast delivery, overnight...Zappos does it again!

The shoe was cool and comfortable. After a few days of breaking it in it felt great.

They're a hit! Much more comfortable than my old Chucks, which I have to add insoles to. And they're stylin'. I've had a lot of compliments on them. I read a lot of comments saying they run a half size larger, I'm not sure that that's true; I wear a 9.5 but ordered a 10. They’re slightly big, but not too big. Also, the price is reasonable. They're only a little more than conventional Chucks, but I'll bet they last longer and you don't have to spend an extra Hamilton on insoles.

A nice surprise for chucks fans - Like regular All Star Converse lace up Chucks in that you're going to have to order a half size down for these to fit well. But unlike the regular Chucks these shoes have a little more cushioning to them. I really like how they feel and the metal tips on the laces are a nice touch. I got the dark gray/brown ones, but they really are more like a dirty olive color.

Just like you remember, but better! All that you love about the classic Converse Chuck Taylor's but with some significant styling and comfort upgrades. Gone is the white toe-cap, now there are pleasing color combinations (I've got both the black/charcoal and the dark grey/brown, which is really more like olive drab). The rubber sole is contoured and rounded so you don't get that uneven wear at the heel. And, most importantly, they provide actual arch support via a removable insole. The most comfortable Converse I've ever worn and I've gotten nothing but compliments.

Converse Premieres - Great shoe all the style of the Chuck Taylor, but more refined. Much more arch support-easier to walk in. But, they run smaller than the Taylors, I’m at a 10.5 for the Chucks, I need an 11 for these. Minor nitpicks for a great, stylish shoe.

Very happy with the product and the speedy delivery time. You guys ROCK!! You guys should have an "on sale" section to make this perfect. The only thing is (which is no big deal) that physical appearance (not color) of the shoes appeared different than what was online.

Overall great shoe - First pair of Chuck T style Converse. Great look and really comfortable. I ordered 1/2 size too large...what can I say...Zappos customer service is the best!! Wouldn't buy a shoe anywhere else. I had the other shoe the very next day!!

Status quo - I've gotten tired of all the hype and design wonders when it comes to tennis shoes. And the prices?...is that the status quo? Tennis shoes have become so specialized and over decorative...it makes you wonder why. I was reluctant to go backwards in design to what used to be a good shoe. To tell the truth, back when I was a teenager it was a definitely a "no-no" to wear the shoes my father had worn. Low and behold, after filtering through all the design wonders, and having a desire for something simple, I decided to give these a try. What a surprise, a basic, comfortable shoe...much more so than my Skechers that were twice the price, of which I was told were one of the most comfortable shoes out there. These are comfortable. The construction and material, though basic, are very functional. They seem to be a good running shoe and work well with yard chores. And the styling? There isn't any beyond what is needed to get the job done. And the shoe laces actually stay tied with only a normal knot! To tell you the truth, I will be buying another pair soon...got to have a pair for the "honey do" chores that I can beat around in and abuse, and got to have a pair when I need to look good. Do I need to mention the service a Zappos? By far, the finest I've seen on the Internet trail!

Perfect! Fairly inexpensive ($50) and have a surprising amount of arch support for Converse. They seem to be very well made and have been complimented often. Great show, great look.

Slightly different - Fit seems the same as the regular Chuck Taylors, so order 1/2 to 1 size down (does that make it true to size?). May be a tad narrower. Not a flat bottom like the original, so expect a little more contour/cushion. Super-comfy and sleek. I feel nimble and quick in these.

Best Chucks ever - These are great shoes, so comfortable and attractive! I am so happy with them! Converse made a lot of great improvements, especially the supportive removable insole and the streamlined, contoured shape. I would definitely buy these again!

I bought these shoes for my very picky 13 year old son. They look and fit great. They arrived the day after I ordered them, even though I placed the order in the evening, which was a pleasant surprise. The free overnight and return shipping made the shopping experience totally painless (unlike looking for shoes with him at the mall). I will only ever order shoes for my son from Zappos!

Best All Stars by Far - I've worn Chuck's for years and these are the absolute best. Like previous All Stars, buy them smaller. I go 1 size down and they fit me perfectly. Very comfortable, nicely made. Laces are too long and I have to double tie them. Buy some so they won't discontinue the style.

The classic, with arch support - I love my Converse All Stars, but they haven't always loved me. The lack of arch support has always troubled me. These Premieres, though, have all the arch support I need, but maintain the classic look and low profile of the traditional.
