Well made attractive shoe, but very narrow. Not for wide feet.

These seemed really narrow and uncomfortable for my son. I tried to get him to 'break them in' but they were just too uncomfortable and rubbed on his feet even with socks. The shoe is the right length but, apparently, my son has wide feet and I did not realize.

Super cute, just ran a little small.

These were a full size too small. I am not sure if this was due to my granddaughter's growth since Christmas when we purchased the first pair, or variable sizing. Am going to re-order in a larger size.

My son couldn't get his feet in them due to high arches (I'm guessing) so we sadly had to return them.

Definitely need to size up 2 sizes. This put my child into adult sizes which ended up looking too long in the toe area for a child.

Ordered these for my daughter and had to size up from a kids 4 to a woman’s 6. Size up definitely run very small!

Was too small had a upset little girl at Christmas because they wouldn’t fit. She was more excited about these than her aitpods.

These shoes are very tight to get on which makes it uncomfortable for my son to wear. Thus I am returning them again.

Should have listened to the reviews... opening was far too small for my son to comfortably get his foot inside. I helped him get one foot in with a sock, then we tried the other without a sock, and I was sweating by the time we successfully got them on. Once on, he said the shoe was too tight over his entire foot. Went with a half size bigger to extend wear, but even doing that did not help with how narrow and small the opening to the shoe is. I have adult Vans and it’s not this hard to get my foot in, in fact I can slip them on without using my hands at all. Disappointing considering they are adorable.

They are very cute. Wear socks the first couple of times you wear them, My daughter got blisters.

These shoes are really cute and stylish but the little kid/big kid sizes seem to run pretty small. My 4 year old wears a 10 toddler or 11 little kid in most shoes, but I couldn’t even fit his foot into a size 11 little kid, which is really bizarre, because we have the same shoes in a toddler 10, and they still fit, although are tight in the toe, which is why we got new ones. I returned the 11s and ordered a 12, so hopefully it’s just an issue of weird sizing because he’s loved the many pairs of these that we’ve had over the years!

There is a real problem with these shoes, and it is getting them on your child's foot. I ordered my son's true size originally, a kids 12, and it was IMPOSSIBLE to get his foot into the shoe. I reordered them a half size up, a 12.5, and barely managed to squeeze his foot into them with a lot of effort, and I am hoping they will break in and become easier to put on over time. My recommendation is that if you want these shoes for your child, order AT LEAST a half size up, if not a full size. Otherwise, the shoes seem great, and we like the classic Vans style.

We have bought slip on vans for my now 4 Year old In checker and sometimes perf leather since he was 2. This is probably the 7th pair. He only wears this shoe since he can slip them on himself without help. We wanted navy to match his school uniform so we got the Young boys size 10.5 instead of toddler 10, but we could barely even get them on w a shoe horn and me/ my husband stretching out the elastic. There is something definitely wrong with the elastic or height of the instep unless your child has none and barrow feet. Note this shoe in 10.5 looks same length as toddler 10. Disappointed since it’s really cute in navy.

These shoes were beautifully made; however, they were so narrow my grandson couldn't even get them on.

Tough to get in them, but once my daughter got her foot into them she said they were comfy

My son loves the style, but as many others have stated, the hole at the top for your foot is way too small or needs better elastic.

Love love love these. But wished Vans made these in a wide for kids. :(

I ordered these for my 9 year old grandson and was sent directly to their home. I ordered a half size larger than she asked to give a little more room. They reported that they were too tight so I will be returning them.

Cute shoes, needed to return and exchange for a new pair because they were too small. They were fully 1 size too small and very narrow in the heel.

Ditto to all these other reviews that the opening for the foot to slip into is extremely small and narrow My granddaughter has a normal width foot and we had to order a 1/2 size larger to accomodte getting her foot into them. If she hadn't wanted them so bad I would havesent them back. Real pain to get into.

Beautiful style and very trendy, but they ran almost a full size smaller. Had to return to get a larger size.
