I really like these boots! They are so comfortable. I use an orthotic arch support, which fits fine after removing the regular insole. The boots do not slip in the heel. I did not have to break them in. I walked three miles in them with no problem. I can even run in them! There is wiggle room for my toes. These are the best boots ever!

I love this boot. I ordered one in black and the other in the cherry red. And while the cherry color was really beautiful, it didn't fit me in the circumference of my leg the same way the black pair does. Maybe it is because they are handmade so each pair is cut a little bigger or smaller. Who knows. If I didn't feel like I would be taking advantage of Zappos free return shipping I would almost be tempted to buy as many as three pair in the same size, hoping one would hug my calves better. But I am happy with the black ones.

Extraordinary quality, beautiful, comfortable, super cute - These boots are beautiful and so incredibly well-crafted and super comfortable. No break-in time needed. I have a wider foot and athletic calves and they feel so comfortable. The patent leather is so flawless and buttery smooth yet substantial and it all breathes so well. I felt like I wanted to carry the boot around with me like a purse (and I don't have a leather f‏etish...yet). Well worth the higher price. These will last a long time and will always be in style...slightly bulky feeling but in a hip way. Looks great with pants, jeans, leggings, skirts, dresses. I love the shaft height too--seems like just the right proportion. I got the Kate boots too and I love them. They are amazingly super comfortable too and very good looking and sleek. I was happy to find a sleeker higher heeled boot that was so comfortable. I don't like shoes that hurt my feet or back but I like height too, so I end up with a lot of clunky platforms and wanted to get something sleeker. A totally different look and the same superb extraordinary quality and unbelievable comfort. Fit perfectly when I first put them on--no break-in time needed. Well worth the price. I won't have to buy boots now for a couple of years! They gave me free super fast delivery too! These La Canadienne boots are so beautiful and practical--I am happy that I kept both pairs. A great investment is guilt-free.

I'm crazy about patent leather!!! I'm giving this boot five stars across the board because they are fantastic! I bought the red patent leather and they look great with a denim skirt. I didn't have an issue at all with them zipping up over my calves and I don't have particularly thin calves. They are comfortable, true to size and chic looking.

Comfort comfort comfort - These boots are stylish (if a bit boxy) and soooo very comfortable. I walk 1/2 mile each way to and from the train for work and I love these boots because they are comfortable the whole way.

These boots are amazing. I have to run up and down stairs all day and these are by far my best work boots. And, I was shocked that the patent leather is holding up so well. I would recommend these to any working gal.

Comfy! These boots are like wearing slippers. After their very expedient delivery, (how does Zappos do it?!), I put them on and walked the dogs about four miles! My feet were in heaven! Now, if we could only train our dogs to walk on leash as effortlessly as it was to walk in these boots!

Best ever waterproof boot! I had tried so many boots that my husband joked Zappos free shipping policy was for everyone, but me! These are everything they are advertised to be and more. I love the insole, so comfortable. Like walking on air. It took a moment to get used to because it actually supports my arch unlike others that claim to have arch support, but are really just a little bit of padding. These are truly waterproof - really! I wore them all day to a museum, very comfortable on the hard concrete floor, then to the theater with nice slacks, they pass muster as looking good and actually keep you warm. It had been pouring all day long, so lots of big puddles to maneuver around plus it was still pouring. I didn't realize how wet it was until we got inside and I crossed my legs sitting it the theater seat. My pant legs were soaked, but my feet and legs were dry and cozy. Not the cold, wet, make-me-miserable-all-night-long feeling of all the other boots I tried. These were pricey, but really, can you put a price on stylish AND dry?

Love these boots! The reviews were good for La Canadienne's Blanche boot and I was not disappointed. I receive compliments every time I wear them and they keep my feet warm and dry even during Chicago's slushy cold winter. Worth the money!

Fab! I just returned from a very long, cold and sometimes wet, Paris holiday. We walked hours and hours every day and never have my size 11 feet been warmer or drier! I highly recommend this boot for a comfortable and stylish addition to your winter wardrobe. The boot looks fab with skinny jeans/pants, boot cut pants and skirts. The innersole is like walking on pillows. Even at the end of a long day of stairs, Metro, cobblestone streets and nippy wet cold my feet were dry, warm and didn’t hurt. And ....they still look as good as new!

What cute red boots you have. They really are nice-looking boots. I like shaft height (shorter than usual). Look great with a black outfit, skirts or jeans. Very comfortable for walking long distances, and perform well in wintry weather. I get lots of compliments and source inquiries on these boots.

La Canadienne Blanche - The perfect shade of red and they’re super comfortable. The first time I wore them, I walked about 10 miles in NYC without any discomfort. I'm recovering from a broken foot, so this is definitely a huge accomplishment. I also get lots of compliments whenever I wear them.

Happy Feet! Love, Love, Love these shoes. I am the envy of all my friends. They look great--I find them youthful and sexy, not "orthopedic" looking or "clunky" as other reviewers have said. But the heel height & construction are sensible, meaning that you can walk all over the city in them. Wore them in the snow & slush of Montreal in winter and never have my feet been warmer or drier - outstanding comfort. I have short legs, so the shaft height works great with skirts and the cherry color is fabulous.

Warm, dry and fashionable! These boots have kept my feet warm, dry, fashionable and stable during this snowy and icy winter! They are worth every penny and it looks like they will be my "go-to" winter treads for a number of years to come! A bonus is the removable footbed that allows for an orthotic. The red is a cherry color that goes with anything.

Wow - These are the best boots ever. Perfect fit, perfect comfort, hot look. I got the cherry red and just love them. I have been stopped on the street by strangers complimenting my boots. I have odd-shaped feet and it's hard to find shoes I can comfortably wear for longer than an hour, yet I found these to be extremely comfortable all day long.

Comfortable and Versatile - I do love these boots. It took awhile to get them in my size, and they were a little more than I'd like to spend, but they're worth it. I walked miles and miles pregnant in NYC the weekend after I got them and my feet were the only part of me that didn't hurt afterward! The sole makes them pretty casual, but that's the price of comfort. Red goes with everything, too. Great boots.

AWESOME - These boots have not been off of my feet since they arrived! I purchased them in the cherry color and have received compliments everywhere I go. Someone even came up to me in a restaurant and asked me where they could find a pair. Of course, we ended up talking about how awesome Zappos is. I work in a hip retail gift store and they have saved my feet this Christmas season! When you live in an area of the country where winter is most of the year, these boots are worth every penny.

Wear them every day! I canNOT believe how comfortable these boots are....I wear them every day. AND I bought Prada boots and I prefer these ones over them! They are waterproof and keep me warm and cozy.

Perfect for what I needed - I was reluctant to spend this much on a pair of boots, but I'm so glad I did. I've spent the last two weeks traveling around Europe and I've worn them every day. They've been absolutely perfect - comfortable, dry (despite rain almost every day), easy to wear with skirts and pants, and attractive. They were well worth the expense.

Wow! I'm a hairstylist who just put in my eight hour workday, standing on my feet all day. I was looking forward to my Zappos order sitting on my porch waiting for me when I got home and it was. My feet were hurting a bit even though I had my most comfortable boots on. I tore open the box and put my feet in these and went ahhhh! My feet are very sensitive and wide (C). Not all wide boots or shoes are wearable for me, but these definitely are! I can already tell I will have no problems standing on my feet all day with these. Zappos’ customer service is the best!

My favorite boots - I've had these boots for a year and they are my favorite pair. They are super comfortable and cute as well as practical in the snowy weather. I wear a 9.5 and ordered my true size but had to exchange for a 10.

Awesome boot! I was extremely apprehensive about these boots and let them sit in the box for about 5 days. I thought maybe the heel was too plain, the patent leather too shiny and the height of the boot too short. Then I wore them out and now I'm in love! These boots are amazing and I don't ever want to take them off. Plus, I've been getting lots of compliments from strangers. What a great buy! :)

Unique look, well made boot - These boots are beautifully made. I ended up removing the insert that comes with them and replaced it with a gel insole that fit my foot better. The boots are nicely finished inside, so you could actually go without an insert if you wanted to wear with a thick pair of socks. They don't look like "rainboots" so I often wear them with jeans or a skirt on a sunny day. I normally don't spend this much on a pair of boots, but the quality of these is such that I know I will get many years of wear out of them.
