I love this boot. I bought it in black and usually wear it with skirts. It looks great - much better than I would have expected given the rubbery heel - and is very comfortable out of the box. I get compliments on the boots every time I wear them, and I can walk through slush!

I absolutely love my La Canadienne Blanche boots. First of all, ordering from Zappos is always a great experience. I can’t believe how quickly I received my purchase! The boots are beautifully made with very soft leather and a nice wedge heel. I wore them walking around Boston the first day I wore them, and they were so comfortable. They’re a little snug to tuck jeans into, but they look great with pants, leggings, or skirts and tights. I will enjoy these beautiful boots for years to come. I normally wear a 6 1/2 or 7. I ordered the 7 and they fit perfectly.

I love these boots. I have a hard time finding comfortable boots that I can wear all day long - these are the first pair of boots that can keep me feet happy all day! I went up half a size (bunion) and they are perfect. Thanks Zappos - you guys are the best.

These boots are great. Immediately comfortable. I wore them the entire day the first time I put them on. I walked most of the day and they didn’t hurt at all. They have a non-slip sole so have been great in the Chicago winter.

I just received the crinkle black boots. They fit true to size. I am a 9 1/2 and there is plenty of room at the toe so they are perfect. They feel very comfortable and look very stylish. Zappos sent them out quickly and I received them in lightning speed. La Candienne makes a wonderful product.

I had to order one full size bigger but they are so comfortable and I love the look of them. They are very stylish and I have received many compliments on them. I highly recommend!

These boots have become the keystone to my winter wardrobe. After acquiring countless pairs that end up killing my feet after a day of wear, I decided to invest in Blanche; and see what they had to offer - which ended up being immense comfort and support, the softest leather that does not dig in to your ankle like most mid-calf or knee high boots do plus there is an ample shaft that easily and comfortably accommodates my non-supermodel size calf. Without a doubt the best boot I could have found for the money. This boot looks just as smashing with skirts as it does with trousers - very versatile. My only wish is that they made it in brown as well!!

Thank you Zapppos for ease of shopping and returns! I wanted a sleeker winter work boot and Blanche fits the bill perfectly. I tried the patent crinkle leather and loved them, but since I live in a ridiculously rugged, rural area and the patent screamed urban hip I traded for the flat blacks. I have gotten so much wear out of these boots! The lower cut is perfect for my short height and shorter legs and looks great under skirts and pants. In a single day of work I might be required to shovel sidewalks of snow, traverse unpaved play yards, and attend public meetings. This boot keeps the wet and cold off my feet, and cuts a comfortable professional silhouette. The heel gives me a little height, but remains sure footed. I still have my Sorels and Uggs, but these La Canadiennes kick my winter professional foot-gear up a stylish notch. This is most I\'ve ever paid for a pair of shoes, and totally worth it. No regrets. Smashing fit. Sure footed, sleek, modern silhouette. Waterproof. If you wear wool socks instead of tights you will want to opt for larger width. But length remains true. And Zappos customer service was superb! 5 stars all the way.

I bought a pair of these boots (in red) in Montreal 5 year ago! I get compliments on them every time I wear them (no exaggeration). They are superbly made. They are waterproof and warm and extremely comfortable. They are the best boots I've ever owned. Short of going back to Montreal, I thought I would never be able to find La Canadienne boots here in Boston. After a quick google search I found them on Zappos and purchased a pair in black. La Canadienne superb quality is still evident. I am so happy that Zappos carried these boots. I will definitely shop Zappos again! The service was great and the selection is second to none!

The crinkle patent ones are very shiny, a little too shiny for me! Fit is a little on the short side, and they definitely run narrow. Tight on the calf, and I have average width calves. La Canadienne quality is amazing, though, but I'm not sure these are the right style for me. They have to be absolutely perfect in every way to justify the price!

These boots are really beautiful and nicely made. For those with large calves, like me, they are workable. Because the shaft is shorter, I was able to zip the boot up and I have 15.5" calves. I took the boots to my shoe cobbler and they were able to stretch the calf of the boot a little to fit perfectly. After looking at so many different boots, the quality of these boots are definitely one of the best I've run across and the price is worth it.

I have now had to return these boots twice. The 9 (which I normally wear) were too tight. So was the 9.5. In fact I could hardly tell the difference. So, alas, these are not for me. Make sure you consider buying at least a whole size above your normal size in these.

As someone who spends a great deal of the day on her feet as well as dealing with back problems, I despaired of ever feeling glamorous in cute shoes again. But thanks to La Canadeinne & their fabulous design, Blanche, I can, once again, feel pretty & look hip during my workday while maintaining a great comfort level. Thanks to Zappos my beautiful boots arrived in the exact color & size I requested & in perfect condition with the perfect fit. Thanks Zappos & La Canadienne for bringing glamour back into this working woman's life.
