Style meets sensibility - Very stylish, yet quite comfortable. The heel is cushy, and the removable insole allows for extra space or a higher arch insert if needed (these boots have pretty good arch support already). Ample width in the toe box and height in the vamp, but the toe box is not very tall, leaving my toes to bump against the top of the toe box, and the shaft was tight on my athletic calf. I like the boot enough to try stretching it out a bit. What makes this boot is its walk-ability and its style. The seaming on the top of the toe is reminiscent of 60s fashion, but this boot has a modern edginess. Stylish enough to wear to all but the most conservative of workplaces. A winner.

I wore them all day the first day - Love these boots - tried a few other brands before deciding to splurge on them. Super hip, comfy and warm...wore them for 7 hours the first day in 40 degree weather with only lace stockings on and my feet/lower legs were warm and no blisters!

The boot I have been waiting for - For over 3 years, I have been wanting "the perfect red boot". Not only are red boots hard to find, but I have large calves and also demand comfort. I can finally say I have found the perfect pair of kick butt red boots. They fit like a glove and I feel like Wonder Woman. They attract positive attention from both genders. The antidote to rainy Portland Winters (and they're waterproof - yeah!).

This shoe is super cute, but very warm and cozy, too. It has a funkier look, but I wear them to work with dress pants and they look very professional. They would also be cute with crops or a skirt. I ordered the 9, wide and they seem a bit long in the front so I could have gone down to an 8 ½. But these will definitely keep me warm through the cold winter months!

Red hot - I waited forever for my size to come in and it was worth the wait. So cute! So red! I hate winter, so having red feet to look at in the freezing cold will be a treat.

Can’t beat La Canadiennes - Well, I love these boots, they're my second pair of la Canadiennes. I wore my last pair until they had holes in them and no sole left. Warm, dry, comfy and stylish--I’m a biker and they even fit nicely in my toeclips. Anything that can last thru a Chicago winter is impressive. On the downside they're way expensive...I even had to work some extra shifts this month just to afford them.

Comfort and style - Unbelievably comfortable. Look great. I have a really high arch and have a hard time finding boots that fit. But these are so soft and comfortable that I could immediately wear them. I have long legs and thin calves - they are a little wider at the top than I need - but would probably be perfect for most people.

Gorgeous, Funky Look - WONDERFUL boot... Definitely one of my absolute favorites. I wear it every week without fail. It's a beautiful fit--worth every penny. I get compliments to the effect of "you can tell it's an expensive boot--it's gorgeous." AND it has a funky edge, which I love.

Worth the price - This boot is very comfortable, yet stylish. I wear them in the rain, walking all around New York City (I commute on foot, mostly), and they feel great. No "breaking in" period, no blisters, no discomfort at all--and I am really picky about my shoes!

These boots rock! They fit beautifully (even around the calves, a sometime problematic area); are wonderful for walking and dress up any outfit.

Pricey ... but worth it - The look of this boot is definitely different (what drew me to them in the first place) but I wasn't sure if it was a look I could pull off. Not only do they look feminine and fit well (thank goodness) you can wear these with a short skirt! Despite the materials they do give a little, so if they feel snug initially my advice would be to walk around on carpet for a while to allow them to loosen up.

Much more narrow than any 8WW shoe or boot I have ever ordered. Had to send them back. They are lovely, though.

This is my second pair of LaCanadienne Boots purchased over the past three years. Being 4'11' it is difficult to find a boot with a shaft short enough so as not to bruise my leg when seated. This Blanche is perfect in that regard. The arch did not feel quite right so I put in my bionic oath pad and the boot felt great. The ankle is extremely slim so no heavy boot socks along with a tucked pant.

Gorgeous boots but the shaft is too tight for my calves over jeans. I'm 5 ft and 100 lbs with normal size calves. I'm reluctantly returning them.

I've had La Canadienne boots in the past and I like their style and quality. But now with my bunion even the WW a half size up from my usual was too short and too tight for my toes.

These were cute enough, but WAY too narrow for a WW. Tight in the shaft and saggy too. Not worth the price for me to try and widen them to fit.

Beautiful boots but not the most comfortable pair I've owned. First pair I bought was very narrow, so I bought the double wide next and while they are much better, they still don't feel very comfortable around the ankle (think uncomfortable when coming down the stairs). I'm still only wearing them around the house every few days to see if I can get used to the pinch or if I'll return them.

I ordered these boots in a 6.5EE because other posters had suggested that--even though I usually wear a Medium width. They fit fine, although the forefoot was too flexible for me, and I didn't like the patent leather finish. I could have dealt with the flexibility with an insert, but I do wish it came in a burgundy leather. I'm sending them back.

These were comfortable in the footbed which for me is a big challenge (high arches, orthotics, wide feet) but really tight in the calf so unfortunately they did not work for me. I followed others' advice and ordered extra wide and so the width was good. Nice styling and materials, I am disappointed that they did not work out.

This is my 3rd pair of La Canadienne. This pair and my 2nd pair feel narrower than the first pair. I'm petite and I normally wear Medium, but this one I ordered W. After tried it I knew M would be narrow for me with normal cotton socks. Style wise, it's typical La Canadienne (good or bad?).

Very stylish but for very skinny legs. I am 5'4 and 130 and I have skinny legs but these must be for very skinny legs. I usually wear a 7 and the second pair I tried were 8's and still really tight. The leather probably stretches but too light for me...and Zappos, ordered one day at more door the next...WOW. My quest goes on for comfy boots. :(

Very sleek and European - and very narrow. I liked the boot but it was very tight, especially in the ankle. But the boot is very well made and stylish, wish I could keep it.
