Great Shoes - These shoes are AWESOME! The arch support is good and they are extremely comfy. My feet have stayed dry but not sweaty. The pull string lace system is very convenient.

These shoe's Rocked in NEPAL! There seems to be something wrong with these shoes!!! They are AMAZING! Purchased in the states and taken back to New Zealand, I have used them for 2 day hikes (tramps as we say down here) of 8 - 10 hour days 4 or 5 times. 1 x 12 hour Rogaine through rough terrain. Trail's, off trails, bush bashing, river crossing and river walking, rock, grass, tussock, snow, mud, water, they just asked for more action. AND to top it off 250+km around the Langtang Valley and Gosaikunda from 1200m to 5000m in 2 weeks with a final dash around the famous Annapurna full 230km circuit in 7 days. My feet love these shoes, I will be ordering more. Thanks Salomon, from an Ex Asics trail runner. Love your work. O and did I mention a wander over the infamous Tongariro Crossing this past weekend!!

These shoes deliver! 7 miles in Bryce Canyon; 10 miles in the Grand Canyon after a good rain; then 10 miles in Zion Canyon on the sandstone. Awesome grip on wet, dry, grit, sand and mule droppings! Walk, hike or run - they do it just right. Confidence inspiring and comfortable right out of the box. Added bonus - the lacing system will make you look forward to taking them off for airport security. Your feet and your fellow travelers will thank you. Get them.

I spent more on these than I normally spend on shoes, however I feel I got my money’s worth. Solid construction, Gore-Tex throughout, double stitching through most of the shoe. Very happy with my purchase of these.

Got exactly what I hoped for. I've owned many pairs of Salomon shoes and previously had 2 pairs of the XA Pro 3Ds, which I loved. I decided to try the new and improved model and have been just as pleased with their wearability and impressed with the increased comfort.

Best Shoe Ever! This shoe is the best I have ever owned. It is tough, comfortable, and keeps your feet dry. I use them for work as a tactical officer in Law Enforcement. I owned a green pair for two years, wore them daily. Just bought another pair in black this time.

Happy Greenskeeper - I work at a golf course in the summer and deal with wet feet on a regular basis. These shoes are dry as a bone. Very comfortable and pretty true to size for fit. This is my first pair of Salomon shoes and I would definitely get another pair. Great for just walking around as well.

Great shoes but Salomon has changed their sizing structure - Suddenly I'm a half size smaller in two models of their shoes. Otherwise the fit, finish and comfort are spectacular. These shoes are lightweight and have very good arch support. The Gore-Tex lining is great in wet grass and is very breathable.

THE TRAIL SHOES ARE INDESTRUCTABILE - I have run in a variety of trail shoes for years: New Balance, Montrails, and most recently Nikes. This is my second pair of Salomon’s and I ran about 9.0 miles on a rugged trail straight-out-of-the-box!!! I am 47 y/o and have battered my feet for years multi-sporting and these shoes provide the most stability, cushioning, and more importantly--PROTECTION!! Zappos is great - Got my shoes in less than 24 hrs WOW! These are some good shoes. I bought my first Salomon’s at a local outfitter they were clearanced for close out, they don’t even carry them as a brand. Three years later the first set looks rough but still feel good. I'm hard on shoes 7-10 miles a day on hard surface. Lots of time on off days down, by and sometimes in the river. Hope these last 1/2 as long as the last set. Do get them a half size larger than other shoes and you will be happy.

Great Shoe! This shoe is a great all around travel shoe. Completely waterproof and very stable. it was my only hiking shoe for a year abroad and did extremely well. It’s a little heavy to me for running but if you need a very stable trail running shoe this is it.

Great shoes! I really dig these shoes. They slip on and off easy, they feel good and they look cool.

Super Comfortable - This shoe is great not only because its Gore-Tex, but because of the arch support, tread design, easy no lace system, and overall its just a sharp looking shoe. Most comfortable shoe I have ever owned!

Continued Salomon Success - If you are a fan of the Salomon 3D series, the XCR goes one step further. They kept all the great features of its counterparts such as unmatched stability, extreme trail-busting ability, solid cushioning, asymmetrical no-tie lacing, and overall good looks (I have the all black version). The XCR has the added feature of waterproof GoreTex that breathes extremely well. Overall, a great shoe for all terrains with the exception of the hottest days of the summer.

Great Shoe - I'm a large guy (6'4"/270 lbs.) and this shoe provides me the support I need. The fit was right on, comfort excellent, and I love the lacing system.

Fabulous shoe - This shoe is waterproof and living in WA State, I really get to test it on muddy trails. I am impressed with my dry socks!

AWESOME - I purchased these shoes for my 17 year old son. This is his third pair of Salomon. He said they were awesome. He is very active and states his feet never hurt and they last a long time, I think the last pair he had for almost a year. They are well made and excellent.

Great Product and Service - Top Notch customer service, extremely fast delivery, great shoe. I work in a nursery and dry feet are a must and hard to come by, but these shoes provide that and all day comfort. Absolutely the best all around shoe I have ever purchased.

He likes 'em - Bought these for my picky hubby to take on a ski trip to Europe. Not only did he think they were extremely comfortable, but they were Great in the snow as well. Well worth the $$$. Salomon seems to be one of our favorites...thanks Zappos!

First time Salomon Buyer - Great overall shoe, very sturdy and rigid, feels solid and durable. Love that the shoe is waterproof with Gore-Tex lining. Fast-lace set-up is slick, quick, and easy. Only complaint is that I have a narrow heel and these shoes are a tad bit loose in the heel area. Overall, I'll buy Salomon again.

Great shoe/poor customer service (Salomon, not Zappos) I absolutely love this shoe (wearing it now as I write this). The lacing system is terrific, and it has kept me comfortable and dry through snow, sleet, rain and even deep puddles. My only complaint is that Salomon's customer support is dreadful. I am visually impaired and I was unable to read the instructions that came with the shoe. Salomon has dropped direct customer support telling its customers that they can only communicate with them via the vendor. That meant I had to rely on Zappos as a middleperson in trying to understand a few things about the product. Zappos did their best--no complaint from me with Zappos service--but I think it is unacceptable that a manufacturer will decline to answer its customers' questions.

Simply wonderful - I can not say enough good things about the Zappos crew. They were extremely friendly and helpful, even with a strange order (international stuff). As for the shoes...I also can not say enough good things. Very stable but also have a nice cushion for the feet. In short, you never really have the desire to take them off. 6 stars out of 5.

Salomon's XA Pro 3D XCR - I have had them for about a month, I wear them at work as a firefighter. They seam to be water resistant. I really like the looks. The soles are real hard that would give some protection but makes them a little slippery on ice. I wear a 10 1/2 in Nikes I had to get these in a size 12.

The best shoe on the market. Hands down the best shoe I have ever owned. True to fit. Waterproof. Awesome traction. Great for anything you can imagine. I will only purchase Salomon shoes from now on. They make all others seriously silly to even think of.

Good shoe - I really enjoy the XA Pros. This is my third pair of Salomons and I have loved them all. They are very durable and comfortable as well. I do a lot of hiking in the snow and these shoes stay warm and on the trail exceptionally well. The new quick tie system is a must have on any future shoes of mine.
