Very stylish, rugged, doesn’t feel cheap at all. The back is still uncomfortable after a lot of use, I have to wear moleskin on my heel to make it not rub, but I’m hoping with more wear that goes away. Overall my best shoe purchase to date, really love the look and feel of them!

They fit great. Good leather. Soft sole. They will be my go to shoe for a long time.

These shoes are very stiff when new but after broken in are comfortable and can wear with most anything. They also last a really long time so is well worth the investment, and they get better looking over time. I recommend wearing with medium to thick socks especially when new to provide a little cushion for such a stout shoe.

Awesome fit. I've owned several pairs of Doc Martin's over the years and I have to say, these are probably the most comfortable ones I've worn. The sole is so much lighter than it used to be and the interior had virtually no break-in period which is something I honestly wasn't expecting. Very comfortable the first time I wore them out. Excellent quality. Built to last and stylish.

Awesome shoe...fell in love the minute I put them on. Unfortunately, they slipped up and down on the back of my feet, even after inserting my orthotics. Sadly had to return.

This is a sturdy shoe that is well constructed and durable. This is my second pair in five years. The padded upper is comfortable but not ideal.

I really liked this 8053 shoe, but it did not work with my high instep. The eyes and laces sat right on the highest point of my foot with an irritating sharpness. I prefer lace-ups because I have a wide foot and high instep - the laces allow for a bit more room when needed. So bummed these shoes did not work out, because they were otherwise very comfy and I liked the style. .

These feel like the old doc martens from the 90’s. Love them. They have a matte leather finish so they should be easy to clean up. I would recommend them over the shiny black ones. I’m usually a women’s 9 but a women’s 8 fits perfectly.

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. They are very well made and are thicker leather than most shoes similar in style. I expected a longer break-in period. They look great with slacks and jeans. I am 56 years old and this is my first pair of docs. I am very pleased and they are work every penny.

Great fit and feel, these never go out of style.

I have very short, wide feet. I had some Doc Martens that I purchased in Dec 1995 that finally starting falling apart in the heal recently (Jan 2019); the soles and stitching were in excellent shape; obviously, the color was worn, but they were by far the best fitting shoes I have ever had on account of the odd shape of my feet (most shoes simply do not fit correctly). This model that I purchased was not the exact same model as the old, and they fit very tight around the top of my foot. I am in the process of stretching them out. They are much better now.

I wear a US Women's 8.5; the Doc Marten size 6 (UK 6) is just roomy enough. It's slightly too big and I imagine a better choice than the UK 5. If I were ordinarily a size 8 I'd have a dilemma and might have gone with a UK 5.

The style is what it is, and exactly what I was looking for. These are amply wide for my 8 1/2 W foot (female). I ordered the UK 7, using the chart. However length-wise they are a good size too large. I'm planning to reorder a size down.

These shoes are very comfortable right out of the box. Soft and supple and it feels like walking on a cloud.
