It's too big

The quality of these shoes is poor. I love the style but the quality is not what I expected for the price.

Really long. Seemed bigger than other Docs I have had with the same size. These were also extremely rigid and uncomfortable. I know Docs need some time to break in, but these seem like they won't ever get comfortable.

These are not built like they used to be. I wear these exclusively to work in an office setting so they are not abused. The left sole has almost completely separated from the shoe in less than 18 months. Looks like I need to find another brand of shoes that can stand up to this strenuous environment.

The interior stitching is uneven and bulky. I can feel it constantly and it is driving me crazy! I am so disappointed. I expected more from Dr. Martens and Zappos.

These are FAKE Dr. Martens!!!

No arch support whatsoever and the insole isn't removable. I really wanted to like these but just can't possibly wear them.

The overall fit was too tight and a bit small. If it was in a 91/2, it might have worked.

I wear a size 15 in all shoes. Docs run way too small. Always order one size up, if and only if, you have a wide enough foot to wear the next size. They do not make shoes for narrow feet so be cautious in ordering. The good part is that Zappos is the best for customer service!

Bought them, put them on, walked 20 feet in them, took them off, put them back in the back to return. They pinched the top of my foot where my big toe joins my foot. I imagine, if I walked in them for days, they would break in and that crease in the shoe top would soften. But, to do that, I would need to suffer a lot of toe and foot pain. Not worth it to me. I returned them/

The seam were toe box attaches to tongue is a big problem as it is abrasive on arch of foot. Noticed it as soon as I put the shoe on.

This is an update to my original review - I had to send back the THIRD pair of these after having them less than two weeks. The first two pairs both started coming apart after about two months. The defective construction on these shoes really disappointed me. What happened was the bottom part of the sole started separating from the top part (the part that is stitched to the upper). The shoes are made in Vietnam, and several people have complained that the quality just isn't what it used to be. The materials all seem great and if it weren't for what looks like a bad gluing job, these would be the best shoes I've ever had. So I'm SUPER disappointed, but I'm giving up.

I was hoping that this boot would work for me. I don't like to leave negative reviews. According to reviews I read, I ordered my normal size 8 1/2. I wear 8 1/2 in everything. These were way too small and too tight. If I decided to try again, I would order a 9 1/2.

WAY too big! I have worn docs forever and the new ones are manufactured in China not England. The sizing is way off. I'll be returning these...my second return of Dr. Marten shoes.

Quality is erratic, sizing as well. They look great at first but two sets had footbed issues and the sizes had no consistency. Laces one one pair were too short to be useful. Really wanted to replace my old docs but I'll be changing brands until they get their quality back in check.

Dr. Martens are very specialized shoes. I am the easiest man in the world to fit, and nothing this shoe company makes will fit me. I bought a pair of these and had to buy specialized insoles just to take up space. The sole is so high and the fit so loose and clumsy that I feel like if my foot tips to the outside or inside, I will break my ankle. I wear my Docs whenever I have nasty stuff to wade through. As soon as I buy a new pair of work boots, these are going in the land fill. I will never buy another pair of Dr. Martens ever again. Heavy, clumsy and ill-fitting are the catch-words here. The problem is that they don't make 1/2 sizes, and that is all the difference in the world.
