On my search for "Dr. Martens steel toe" on Zappos these came up but they don't have a steel toe. They were also small and tight. I am ordering another style. Hope they work.

I bought this shoe in the appropriate size (I've owned Docs before, so I know how they are sized). The soles appear to be the right size (same as my other shoes), but I could not even fit my foot through the shaft. They are unwearable. Maybe if I went up a size I could actually put them on, but then they wouldn't fit properly. I will just return them and buy another boot altogether.

I can't rate these boots because... I could not get them on. Really. I verified the size, but I just could not get my foot into the boot. Ah shame, as the look cool and I like the Dr. M brand.

I am a satellite technician so I'm in these boots up to 12 hours a day. I had them in less than 12 months and they ripped on me. The support on these boots doesn't last too long so get ready to buy some thick socks. Picks up dirt and mud easily that will make messes in your home so keep them outside. With the price I paid for these boots I thought it would last me a little longer than a year. If you're buying these boots, you must be buying the name not the quality.

The boots are nice looking and we love Zappos! The problem was the instep of the boot is narrow, my husband does not have wide feet or a high instep, but he could not even get his feet into the boots. He cannot comment on the comfort or fit.

I was very disappointed with this product it was no where close to the color that was shown in picture on web site I will be returning them and would like to have boots of the correct color if possible if not please just refund my money

Great looking boots, and of nice construction. I just have really high arches, the tops of my feet are a freakishly long way from the ground. I just couldn't get my feet into them. Not enough room for my foot to "turn" and get my heel down into the heel of the shoe. They get stuck halfway.

Bought them couldn't get them on. I wear this size in all my Docs. Very disappointing. There has to be more give in the top part so you can get your foot into it. Just returned them today. Really bummed out as they look great.
