Returning real quick - they arrived stained and stinky. Not my typical experience with Zappos but thankfully they make returns easy enough.

Overall too large for the size. Very uncomfortable. Caused foot pain so I avoided wearing them. My first bad experience with Birkenstock. They have always fit well and been comfortable before.

size fits exact if you wear 10.5 you need a 43 ( I am not sure these are not knock offs. My wife has owned many pairs and never have they been some type of suade (not leather) its cracking and coming off after 3 days. Leather does not crack and fall off ( there is no oiled to this ) its the material that would come on your couch....

The Birkenstock snap came off before I had a chance to even wear these shoes. I have owned so many Birks and never had any problem. Big disappointment.

Shoes were damaged! Suede had a gash in it and looked like it was cut. I was on hold for over 30 minutes trying to get an exchange and then got an email saying my payment was declined on the exchange which makes NO sense!!! It was supposed to be an exchange and I shouldn't have been charged for the exchange. i"ve been on hold for another 30 minutes trying to get this sorted out. Never order from Zappos again!!! I just order these shoes from Famous Footwear while i"m on hold with Zappos!

My shoes arrived today and they looked like they have been worn. They are also two different shades of blue. Very disappointed. Returning them.

wanted to love these shoes. was looking to be able to wear them with or without socks but they only fit with thick socks. had buckle all the way over and my foot still slipped out while walking in them. got my normal size in these.

So stiff they hurt my feet!

I purchased the same size as my old birks. These were huge and wide. Seemed 2 sizes to big.

These didn’t fit at all. I ordered a size 12-12.5. I have a pair of sandals in this size that fit well though. Maybe I need a size bigger. I’m returning them. W A C K

I had to send them back because the suede was rubbed off a part of the top of each shoe. They were out of my size so I couldn’t get a pair that wasn’t damaged. Who would send a pair of shoes out like that?

At first blush, these fit and seemed okay. But the footbed has absolutely no give to it (especially the hard recessed heel where most quality footwear provides cushioning. As a result, they brought on plantar pain for me the more I wore them. As soon as I stopped wearing them, the pain started fading. First and last pair of birkenstocks for me. Painful + Ugly = No Redeeming Value.

The shoes looked worn and blue suede matted and scuffed

I just could not get past the ugly finish of these shoes! I was looking for something other than suede in a Birkenstock, but this one is not it! They look like rubber, so shiny. I am returning.

Birkenstock is the worst shoe I’ve ever worn. The footbed is beyond uncomfortable and my feet hurt terrible. The support is horrible, and the clogs feel larger than the actual size. Their C.S. is beyond worthless.

arrived with a broken strap...will resend back to zappos today. Need to reorder

I was very disappointed in Birkenstock with this purchase. I have been a fan and Birkenstock supporter/consumer for years. I have to say that the quality of this shoe has turned me off. The workmanship is lacking greatly; you can see major gaps in the seams, the glue that was used was inconsistent, and in one place in had dripped on the shoe's footbed. For an expensive pair of shoes, it does not live up to its name/brand.

Fit poorly

For the average foot this shoe is probably great; my wife loves her Birkenstock’s. I, however, have very wide feet so the “medium” fit is too narrow and the shoe got even narrower at the heel; I also have almost no arch so the arch support was not comfortable. I had great hopes but it’s just not right for me.

I will be sending them back. I would like to see Birkenstock make the Boston with the soft sole in women's sizes. The unisex sizing does not work for me. Sending them back

I bought these Birkenstocks twice and had to return them both times because the suede is "damaged". There were areas on the top of the shoe where the suede was a different color than the rest of the shoe. It is because of the suede though, not the dye used to make the suede black. I have owned these specific Birkenstocks in the past and I love them but something has happened with Birkenstock's manufacturing because there is a problem with the suede they are using.

I am SO sad to be returning these shoes after 2 attempts at a great fit. I usually wear a 37, but that was slipping around on my foot, so I ordered the 36. My heel came to the very back of the shoe which I wouldn't have minded, but with each step my heel "popped" out of the shoe. Apparently my only option is to wear the larger size with socks which it not the look I was going for. I am sooooo bummed!!!

The quality in comparison to what I expected was awful. I returned them. I’m Not exaggerating when I say they are really cheap feeling/looking. I had a suede pair of Birkenstocks years ago.

I just received my 1st pair of Birkenstock’s at age 56. I’m extremely disappointed. The picture of the oiled Boston appears to have very soft leather, to the point of laying down on itself. The pair I received has material so stiff I’m not even sure it’s real leather! It cuts into the top of my foot so sharp I couldn’t wear them more than 3 minutes. I was told before buying there was a break in period but there is NO WAY I could stand the sharp as knife pain from these shoes. I was really hoping these worked out for me because I have a leg length discrepancy & need a good pair of shoes for summer. Guess I’ll keep trying cause these will be going back! Thank goodness for Zappo’s easy return policy.
