Great shoes. They are so comfy and beautiful in real life. Excellent service from Zappos, as usual. I was scared of them being too wide but they fit just right.

I found this shoe to have great support and comfort. The leather is very soft and there was no break in period at all; however, I did have to tighten the buckle to create a better fit due to the soft leather. I ordered a narrow width and found it to be perfect for narrow to medium width. The sizing was true to size. I've always worn a 37 in Birkenstocks (size 7) and have found it to be a perfect fit. Zappos service was great as always.

Ordered a size 6 because that's my usually size. When I got them they were much too big, I was annoyed because I had to exchange and then wait forever. However spoke with a representative online and they shipped out my new size that day and they came within 2 days! Great service! Love my bikenstocks, they are like slippers they're so comfortable! I wear them all the time in this 90 degree heat, no socks of course!

People are right. These are amazing! I feel like they have taught me how to walk properly again, and I cannot help wearing them around the house too. I have not had a chance to really properly wear them out much, as it has been so hot. They are incredibly comfortable though, and I also really like how they look. I like the simplicity. My only complaint about the style is that they are a bit chunky around the toes, and I do not like how that looks.

Very comfortable, I adore them. Yes, they are ugly as sin, but otherwise perfect in every respect. What other company has a tag on their shoes that says, don't buy another pair. These can be repaired! This is true, though unless you are trekking through gravel on a daily basis, repair may never be needed My other Berkies are over 20 years old and still in great condition. Made in Germany not China, by people earning a living wage instead of working 7 days a week for a few dollars.

Fair price, great shoes, great site if you are researching and undecided. I hate the malls so shopping from home with the comfort of knowing if the size or color or any dislikes occur, I can ship back for free and have the ones I want in a couple of days. I mean really, the only way to one up Zappos is to live next door to a shoe store that gives away shoes for free.

Yes, they're a little wide, but they're supposed to be... they're unisex. My toes spread out in happiness. The soft insole is awesome. I bought them mostly to cook in because my kitchen has hard wood floors and they hurt my back. It did the trick! I can stand and cook or run around the City.

These are extremely comfortably. They go with pants/shorts, socks or barefoot. Several times my foot has popped after stepping into them, so the shape is great for proper foot position. I actually use these a lot for traveling since they are easy to slip on/off at the airport screening and on the plane for long flights. Everyone should own a pair.

My teenage daughter loves these. They are super comfortable. Run large. She is typically a size 7 1/2 and the size 37 fit her in these.

Great shoe, takes some breaking in, but very comfy. The soft footbed is only a couple mm thick and provides just a little cushion, may or may not be worth it.

Extremely comfortable and great to wear around after a soccer game or in the evening, or really wherever for that matter. I live in Austin, so it is not unusual at all to wear these anywhere and everywhere. I have been a Birkenstock fan for years due to the comfort factor, but the sandals aren't too practical for months other than summer really.

I have been looking for shoes with more support and comfort lately and usually stayed away from Birkenstocks because I did not care for their styles. But I love the look and feel of my Bostons. My feet thank me every day I put them on.

Love these shoes! They run wide which makes my feet look like platypus bills--however, they have a great arch support and feel like slippers! Love the blue color as well.

I am a long time Birkenstock fan. I have considered these clogs for a few years and finally sprung for them. The soft footbed was a new adventure, but based on the reviews, I gave them a try. Pure heaven! Soft, supportive and totally dorky! If you are going to wear Birks, you have to decide to overlook the style issue and just stomp out there with pride. I actually had several people compliment them. They do run wide and big; my regular shoe size is 7 1/2 or 8 B and I always get Birkenstocks in 38 Narrow and there is still room for winter socks. I love them!

The Birkenstock Boston soft footbed is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever worn. The shoe is particularly good for wide feet and can be worn without discomfort the first time they are worn!

Very happy with my new (first) Birks. Wasn't sure what size so I ordered 2 different sizes, knowing I could wear them around the house and send back, at no charge to me, the one that didn't work easy-peasy! They are super comfortable - love the soft footbed feature.

I really like the Soft Footbed shoes. I wear these in the house as slippers since I need a more supportive shoe than slippers can provide. I tried the regular Birkenstocks, but since I had foot surgery my super sensitive feet can just not do the breaking in they require. The Soft Footbeds fit the bill. They are really supportive and require no breaking in.

I have tender feet (due to arthritis and plantar fasciitis) and sometimes the arch support and footbed of other Birkenstock styles are just too hard, causing pain. Not so with this pair! The footbed gives me arch support without pain, and the upper is soft and pliable. I can usually only wear Earth shoes, with the negative heel, but many Earth shoes styles are too narrow. The medium width of this Birkenstock was wide enough for my wide foot. The taupe color is gorgeous. I wish Birkenstock made more styles with the soft footbed.

OK, I'm now an expert in the sizing of these shoes. At first, I ordered them in my usual Birk size (39 regular, I usually wear a woman's US 9) from a different place and they sent me a narrow even though that's not what I ordered (teaches me to not stray from Zappos!). I didn't notice at first that they were narrow, and thought they didn't fit because they were soft footbed. So I ended up ordering a size up (40) in both narrow and regular from Zappos. Then I figured out that the first pair I had were narrow, so I reordered from Zappos my normal size (39 reg). Now I had 39 narrow and regular, then 40 narrow and regular. Of course, the 39 regular were perfect. So turns out after all this, I'm the same size in the soft footbed Bostons as I am in all other Birks (including the regular footbed Bostons). However, I read here that some found them smaller. If that's the case and you need to order up, definitely order up in the narrow. If you order up in a regular it will be huge (unless you have majorly wide feet). I also found that the narrow versions of my 39s weren't just narrower, they were a lot shorter. The soft footbeds are lovely, they add a hint of extra comfort to the shoe, and there is a lot shorter break in time. However, if you're looking for these to be super cushioned, they aren't. I love Zappos, fast free shipping and returns makes them ideal. If it weren't for them I would have had to go through a lot more expense returning these shoes when looking for my size, since no place around me carries soft footbed Bostons in store. I love you Zappos!

These are super comfortable, but I will be going back for the leather version. These are very slipper like and I bought them for use at work due to swollen, pregnant feet. I also have super wide feet and a very high arch and I stand all day on my feet for a living so I needed something that would be amazingly comfortable. It is safe to say they are not the prettiest of shoes, not even close but they are squishy and roomy and super comfortable, so I look forward to getting the leather version and give my feet some tender loving care during my pregnancy. If you have weird or problematic feet like mine, buy these! As always Zappos delivers superior customer service and it was no issue exchanging these for the others. They are friendly, efficient and always on the ball which is why I will continue to be a loyal Zappos customer for the long haul.
