Love these. I've had Birkenstock sandals in the past, but never the clogs. I ordered both the regular and soft foot-beds to try, since I've never owned the soft footbed. Nice! Birkenstock comfort with a little more coverage for winter here in the south.

I have been wearing Birkenstock clogs for years and the new ones are just not the same. The leather is too hard and stiff and shiny. Will just keeping wearing my old comfortable ones until things change.

I have been wearing Birks for 10 years now and have always bought them at a local store in San Luis Obispo. But they never wanted to do anything extra for me and when I had an issue with a pair they were not very accommodating. I finally decided to shop elsewhere and looked up what I wanted on Zappos. I ordered my shoes and then when I had a problem with them I called them and they were so very helpful. I will never buy from the local store again! And I especially liked the joke of the day! Thanks, Zappos!

Already owned Birkenstock open toed sandals, bought these to have a closed toed version. Not the most stylish shoe, but as comfy as wearing slippers. Like my first pair of Birkenstocks, they did have to be broken in (and were a bit uncomfortable at first). They didn't take as long to break in because this version has a soft footbed. Also they have slipped off my feet a couple of times because there is no heel strap.

The most comfortable Birks yet! The soft footbed is fantastic! Zappos is the best on-line site to order from--bar none. I have ordered things and sent them back with no problem...and their response time is fantastic--ordered shoes on Monday; they arrived on Thursday!

We purchased these shoes for my husband, who is very particular about shoes, mind you. He has only been wearing Blundstones for the last two years. He LOVES these shoes! They are comfortable and nice looking and just easy to slip on and go, which he really likes. They did run a bit small, so we had to return the first pair. Awesome shoe, and as usual, awesome service, Zappos! We love you!

When I received my order and put on these shoes my posture changed and there seemed to be less stress on my hips, left impacted and the right arthritic. Now after 2 months there is clearly less stress on my hips and arthritic toes. I highly recommend these shoes. I just ordered the Dundee boots and I hope they work as well.

I really have to say that I can't believe I waited so long to order these shoes...I kept putting it off because they are a bit expensive for me, but I stand all day at work so finally decided to try them. I just got them yesterday, and I haven't wanted to take them off. I realize that some women might question the style, but if you have achy feet or (like me) problems with plantar fasciitis, you really want these! Also, Zappos has the best service ever, and I received them in no time at all! I'm in love with this company!

Leather is so stiff plus I ordered a narrow...I walked right out of clog. Don't know if I go a size smaller if it would fit better.

My son is a professional chef and has worn the Birkenstock Boston with the cork footbed for years. I bought him a pair of the soft footbed and he loves them. I had to size up, I don't know if that's because of the soft footbed. My son will be wearing the soft footbed from now on.

I Love Birkenstocks! These shoes are very comfortable and took no time to break in. I got them and by the end of a few hours I didn't even remember that I had them on. I don't understand how people can say these shoes hurt. As far as style goes..I don't know why people say that these shoes are ugly? Birkenstocks are a cute shoe...they are NOT for going down the runway with..they are for everyday use to have normal feet. People that need fashionable looking shoes shouldn't even be looking at Birkenstocks. They should stick to their high heels and flip flops and keep continuing to have serious foot problems along with a bunch of other mechanical issues with their bodies. I have super flat feet and have had heel pain and serious foot pain wearing regular shoes, since wearing Birkenstocks and Earth shoes my pains have disappeared completely. DON'T judge these shoes by their looks, comfortable shoes might not be beautiful but your feet will love you for purchasing these or any of the Birkenstock shoes. I am hooked on Birkenstock shoes I have 3 pairs so far and have about 10 different ones that I have my eye on. My Arizona's are my favorite so far...I live in these shoes from the time I get up to the time I go to sleep, can't imagine wearing any other brand of shoes. Also wear Haflinger Grizzly wool clogs...love these too.

My orthopedist recommended these after breaking both of my feet. I wore a cast boot x 3 months and once healed I progressed to these by doctor's recommendation. I tried a pair with the hard inner sole first and they hurt. These soft ones were much better. I placed an orthotic inside which makes them even softer. The suede is soft and comfortable on my bunions.

I have arthritis and metatarsalgia in my left foot which causes pain in the large joint behind my big toe. These are the only shoes I can walk in without pain. The soft footbed supports my foot just right and relieves all pressure on that joint. I went ahead and got a pair of Arizona sandals with the soft footbed and they are just as comfortable. The Bostons did need a few days to break in and shape to my foot, but now they are perfect. I wish all Birkenstock styles came with the soft footbed.

Love these shoes. Received them on Tuesday...wore them in the house a couple days (in case I wanted to return them). Left on Saturday for 14 days overseas. Put them on & never took them off...walked a lot! Over hills, cobblestones, bricks, & uneven sidewalks & roadways. No sore tired feet at night.

This is my second pair of the Boston soft footbed shoes. I love them. I work in a busy deli with a major focus on catering. Being on my feet for up to 9 hrs these shoes were the answer to my plantar fasciitis issues. In the year and a half since I've been wearing these my plantar fasciitis is improved almost 100%. I would recommend these to anyone who has to be on their feet for long periods of time. They are also almost slip proof on the floor surface at work. Not totally but better than most. Nothing but Birks for this gal!

These are very comfy out of the box! I am sure they will only become more comfortable after they are worn a few times! I normally wear a 7.5 I ordered sz 38 narrow and they fit perfectly!

So very comfortable and I can wear them with anything, shorts, dresses, jeans, dress pants or just around the house. I have problems with my feet hurting all the time and these are great.

These shoes solved my plantar fasciitis problem and allowed my feet to heal. I normally wear a size 7.5 to 8 and ordered these in a 38 based on other reviews -- perfect fit. As others have said, give them a week or so for the footbed to break in. The suede has remained soft but not too soft, meaning the shoes keep their shape when you're not wearing them. Better than the Clarks, Eccos and Keen shoes -- I've tried many kinds of supposedly supportive shoes but they left my feet aching. I wear these shoes like slippers, around the house, and got Birkenstock Maines as work shoes.

I bought these for my husband. He loves to wear them to the office. That way he can kick his shoes off under his desk without anyone knowing. He says they are as comfortable as his Birkenstock sandals.

Excellent deal and it arrived the next day. Very happy with the product and they are very comfortable. Also, I wear a mens 9 in regular shoes and had to go with a mens 8 (41 UK), same with the sandals.

I bought a pair of these in 1990 and they fell apart this year (23 years!). I immediately ordered another pair from Zappos and had them the next day. Can't do without them!

Extremely comfortable work shoe. Much better than the Danskos I have been wearing around the hospital for the last five years. The soft footbed was new to me but I love it even more than my standard footbed Birks. Should have made the work shoe switch a long time ago. The brown leather is also good for hiding blood stains incurred in the operating room. Solid choice.

Comfortable right out of the box. Wore all day first day and several times since. Other reviewers are right - the narrow is perfect for a medium with foot. Soft footbed is perfect, no break-in needed.

Footbed not as comfortable as my Birkenstock Granada sandals (soft bed) - arch seems a little high - but I haven't fully broken them in yet. My left foot is slightly longer than right; toes touch end even though I bought next larger size. Didn't buy for style so that's OK - am a nurse and must have comfort. Will continue to buy Birks from Zappos, for sure!
