These are fantastic, however, I would take the time and use the size chart carefully. Measure your foot, takes 2 min. Even though returning things is super easy, to get it right the first time is better! Buy these shoes!

These shoes are wonderful. The soft bed option is very comfy; arch support superb and quite pronounced in a very good way. I work in retail and am standing for 8 - 9 hours with much walking and climbing small ladders and wanted a comfy alternative shoe than the standard rigid-soled Dansko that everyone seems to wear. I actually don't have high arches but these feel absolutely great after standing on my feet for many hours. I normally wear a US women's size 7.5 M, and I bought both the 38 narrow and the 39 narrow. The 39 felt a bit too roomy, so I'm sticking with the 38. One side note - I have a 2nd and 3rd toe that are slightly longer than the big one, so my toe line doesn't actually follow the toe line of the Birkenstock shoes...meaning that second and third toe do have a tendency to ever so slightly bump at the top, but not nearly enough to be painful or annoying or even make me think of returning. The size 39 would've alleviated this completely, but the rest of the shoe is too big. Bottom line, the 38 narrow still fits and feels great on my 7.5 M feet and I would order same size and same shoe again! Love them!

I bought these for my boyfriebd to replace a really old pair he had, and he was ecstatic!!! He loves Birkenstocks, as do I, because they are super comfortable and give great support!

I've always liked Birks, but wanted a closed toe model, and when I saw they now come with a Soft Footbed, it was worth trying. I love them! The softer food bed is really nice, more comfortable for sure but still has support for the arch. The size is just right, perfectly fits for what I expected. Just FYI, the hard leather will "stand up" and the suede leather tends to collapse. For slipping in and out easily, get the hard leather. But the suede looks good... I got one of those also.

These are wonderful, but I caved from the reviews and ordered narrow sizing. Even though these look like they would move a lot on your foot, they don't so order your regular size.

Great shoes - perfect for the winter months. Fit was great and arch support was improved! Delivery was immediate and kudos to Zappos!

This is my first soft footbed. I really appreciate the extra comfort and wish Birkenstock made this an option in more styles.

Very comfortable! I have severe foot problems, but these shoes seem to make them all disappear. Highly recommended!

I have wide feet, high arches and Morton's Neuroma (in both feet) so I purchased these Birks knowing I'd get the arch support I need, and that they'd be wide enough. Wow! These have become my favorite shoes. They are so comfortable (love the softbed), have terrific arch support and totally relieve the affects of Morton's Neuroma. Yes, they are dorky looking, but who cares when you have happy feet! I love the purple and figured what the heck, if I was buying shoes for total comfort, might as well get one of my favorite colors! This is not the first time I've bought Birks. I live in Birk sandals in the summer and fall. Think I'll order another pair of these softbeds. They are so comfy.

Wonderful Shoe! It took a little bit longer to break in than the Suede Boston I got last year, but now it's great! I've gotten lots of compliments on it's looks.

Not my favorite pair of Birk's. The squeaked badly for the first month of wear. I tried wax, Vaseline and some other stuff before the finally stopped and it was mildly comical. Size, well I have many pairs and always take a size 40 and never had a problem! Next, the cork foot bed quality seems to have diminished. They are made in China and not sure if this has any bearing on this. I am a bit disappointed with the durability of the show. I have had it less than a year, the sole is hardly worn, but the heels, the cork is cracking. I own many pairs of Birks and this type of wear is usually much later than now. overall, Birks are great shoes and once broken in exceptionally comfortable. I will buy more pairs of Birks, but will have to watch the quality and wear and they aren't cheap!

I am so spoiled by Birkenstock. I just got these and I absolutely love them. The perfect closed-toe shoe with the most amazing support and so comfy! The only thing that really bothers me about Birkenstocks is the break-in period. I have these and the Granada sandals and some really ugly battle scars on my feet where blisters/cuts formed from the shoe. However(!!!), I would suffer through the break-in period 100 more times if I had to. Birkenstocks are some of the only sandals/flat shoes I can wear because of arthritis, joint issues, and pinched nerves in my ankles. I am a 7 1/2 usually and ordered the Bostons in a 38 which are kind of snug but I know they will stretch with wear. My Granadas are a 39 and also fit wonderfully. They are such great shoes and definitely worth the price. Do not hesitate to buy these, you won't regret it!

I love these Birkenstock Boston Soft footbed they are my 2nd pair of Birks...very comfy. Really love the color, they go great with khaki's pants and black. Very neutral color...and as always Zappos is the best! I recommend this shoe, I stand all day.

I used to wear Birkenstocks in the '90s, I loved them then and love them now! I wear a 7.5 womens shoe but need a wide toe box. I have enough room for tights or a thinner pair of sock for cool days The 38 is perfect. Comfortable enough to wear all day!

My husband is a birkenstock fan. He loves the soft bed sandals and really likes this clogs style. He did try the shoe type but the sole is too stiff to walk comfortably in them. He does wear a narrow/B width and is happy they come in narrower widths!

A sturdy comfortable sandal. Leather a bit stiff but becomes flexible with ear. A suede shoe would be be softer on the foot. Great for wearing around and the foot pad does mold to your foot. Highly recommended.

So super comfortable. Do not get the regular size if you have regular width feet. I had to trade these shoes in 2 times. I wear a size 6 and followed the size chart, got a size 37 in regular width and they were huge! Then I got a 35 narrow because my sandals were a 35 but they were too small. So I ended up getting a 36 narrow. If you are a true size 6, save yourself some time and get a 36 narrow! Also, the 3 times I got these same color, the texture of the outside was different. One of them was super smooth like a suede leather couch. But the ones I have look roughed up like an old suede couch. I'm not really complaining though because the soft footbed makes the shoe. Great for people with high arches.

I have had these shoes for awhile, and they are my go-to shoes especially now since I have an ankle brace and can't wear virtually anything else. My only complaint is that the suede stretches out, and then, they easily would fall off; however, I was able to tighten them by adding another hole on the band.

These shoes are the most comfortable I've ever had. The only change I would make is a strap that can be positioned on top of the shoe or behind your foot.

I didn't want to brave "the ugly", but what a difference these shoes make. I'm on my feet for several hours a day and had developed planter fascia. Wearing my Birkenstocks has brought comfort to these poor aching feet and Zappos is the best! Such quick deliveries and with no hassle for returns, couldn't be better.

These shoes are super comfortable, especially in the suede. If you have hammertoes or just like the tops of your shoes to be soft, suede is by far the best choice. The nubuck and oiled leather are stiffer and might need breaking in; however, they're probably sturdier. But I do have hammer toes, so the suede is great for me. Also, like another reviewer, my regular 39N (in sandals) is way too big in the Boston. I'm thinking it's because it's unisex, so they're made bigger to accommodate male feet. Lucky for me, the 38N works very well, again especially because the suede is so forgiving. I got them in Denim which looks great with jeans and is neutral enough to go with everything. As for style...well, hey, this shoe is not intended for stiletto wearers to wear in public, but they'd be great for in between stiletto wearings. And I like to reassure anyone with flat, flexible feet: My feet are super narrow, flat, and flexible, and I put the strap on the last hole and they fit perfectly, while still having generous toe room.

I love these shoes! They are comfortable, good looking, durable, and consistent. This purchase was my 3rd pair. I kept the 2nd pair for "around town" wear.
