I wanted to love these. I couldn’t keep them on. A smaller size would have been too short.

A bit small and did not feel comfortable

These were both marked 40 but the right show was at least a half size smaller. And both shoes had all sorts of rough spots inside in the end of the footbed - like dried glue. Birkenstock quality is going downhill for sure

Went off measurements for the correct size. My son wore them 2 days and they look way too big now as the shade gives in. A lot of money sadly went to waste.

Okay, I’m leaving a mediocre review for these because the last two pair I’ve owned haven’t lasted a full year. I’ve been wearing these for at least 25 years. The first pairs I owned seemed to last and last forever. Even the last pair I owned before the last two lasted for more than three years. I’m not sure what has happened but the quality has gone down considerably. Also, I’ve always purchased the same size, but the last two pair have been too large. I had to add holes to the belt loop to tighten up the sander. The last pair I purchased, I had to add the holes on the day the pair arrived. I do t like to hassle with returns so I just made them work, but it’s been about ten months now and they are well worn out. Please do better Birkenstock. These are not inexpensive shoes. I can’t afford to replace them every single year.

Great style, I just don’t love how it feels to walk in Birkenstocks. Too clunky.

I did like these Birkenstocks. The reason for the rating is that it felt like Zappos shipped second quality, no box, bizarrely some paper in a “ready to ship” bag, leather looking off. For full price, sorry no

Fit and size are great. The soft footbed is disappointing. There is cushioning in the forward area, but there is no cushion whatsoever in the heel. I have other soft footbed Birkenstocks and there is a marked difference. I cannot wear them as I have to have some heel cushioning to relieve pain from surgical hardware in my heel and ankle.

The suede looked too worn in for new shoes. Also, the material was “floppy” and kept getting stuck under my arch as I walk. Returning for a different material

I love Birkenstocks, but every pair I order from Zappos looks old or worn. The photo shows the size 38 ordered from Birkenstock along with the 37 ordered from Zappos. Unfortunately, I need the 37 which is sold out at Birkenstock. Frustrating.

I must have accidentally ordered the narrow size. I am normally a regular, but there's nothing wide about my foot. This show felt overly structured and uncomfortable. Perhaps a regular width would have felt better. There are some shoes best tried on in the store, if possible.

The coloring was not taupe.

I tried three different sizes, and I was unable to find a sweet spot! I love the look of these shoes but they seem so strangely sized. I wear the Mayari and the Arizona with no problem… but these are just not the same! I am back to the drawing board for shoes.

I've been wearing 41R in Burks for 30 years. The Boston is way big. Order down. I just returned them today (10/2) and am waiting for a size smaller that I ordered right away. Did an exchange. Low rating on stars only because of the fit. They look like they will work when I get the smaller size.

Loved the way they fit and looked but had to return because the sole was too hard, and the suede was really hard too.
