I'm a slim-footed 6.5 and there is NO way 37N is my size—I was swimming in them. 36N is too wide without socks but perfect with. It's a clunky looking shoe alright, but you know that already if you're buying Birkenstocks. Green suede is beautiful. Love the lightly cushioned footbed.

I love these Boston shoes...I have horrible feet to fit and these fit just fine. They are as comfortable as bedroom slippers!

I have worn Birks for many years! I must say that the soft footbed is a really major improvement! I would not order any more without the soft footbed! I must say that all Birks are great and comfortable to wear after they are broken in. I had a moment of indecision about the size of these Boston Birkenstocks. I have always worn a 38 in the many sandals I have worn. I was worried that these might not fit as I normally wear an 8 or 8.5 in any shoe. I am pretty sure these will work and wanted to wear with socks, they fit to my foot exactly, so will have to wait until they are worn more to get to wear with thin socks. I even like the color (Forest Green) which are really closer to a dark brown.

Perfect shoes if the weren't so narrow.I have narrow birkis and these are a lot more narrow.Other than that they are very comfortable.unfortunately back they go cause with my flat feet,they are not comfortable.Thank you wonderful zappos.

I usually order a size 40 standard width in Birks, but was afraid that this particular style would be too wide, so I ordered the same size, but narrow width. It's a bit snug, so when I order the black ones I'll order a size up. The narrow width seems to make to shoe shorter.

As a dental hygienist my day is pretty much an even split between sitting and standing. I am a Birk sandal fan through and through so I decided to venture out and try these for work. I wouldn't say that I was in love straight out of the box but I would say, just like any of there stiff leather shoes, they require a bit of break in time. Within a few weeks I noticed the leather start to soften and the bed start to form to my foot. I personally love them for my particular job now, if I hand to stand/walk on my feet all day I don't know that these would be the shoes for me. They do put a lot of pressure on the top of your foot after walking for bit, as the shoe itself it pretty heavy. Great quality though, I know that the shoes will definitely last longer and look better than any plastic slip on shoe of this style.

I have these in both mocha and taupe. Very comfortable clogs.

Really don't like looking down at my feet in these shoes. Feel like a clown. Too wide and floppy, and I returned them.

The footbed was soft and very supportive. The upper felt great, if slightly too large. I originally ordered a size smaller but had to order this larger size. Ultimately returned both, in part because they made my feet sweat.

After years of birkenstock sandal bliss, I decided to try a close-toed pair for fall/winter. I went with my usual size for sandals, except I erred on the side of regular width (rather than my usual narrow) to give me a little more room for socks. They fit pretty well, maybe a little tight in the toes, but I think that'll change with time. They're very comfortable, especially for pregnant feet that swell and shrink ALL THE TIME. The only downside is they *are* kinda ugly. Not something you wear unless you put thought into the rest of your outfit. Works for me :)

Shoe was not as soft as I'd anticipated.

I bought the Taupe Suede in a 36 N and it didn't quite fit. Besides not fitting, I didn't like the color. The taupe was lighter than expected and had a weird greenish-yellow cast to it. I decided to order a size down in the same color anyway because I was buying this for comfort and not style. When the 35 M shoes arrived, not only did they fit but the color was the greyish, mushroom brown I was hoping for. Wish they made more styles in 35 M.

These are very comfortable, but there may occasionally be some pain if you have bunions and wear them for a while.

Comfy shoe and I'm sure will get more so as they break in. I wear a 38 in Danskos but took a 37 in this shoe.

Love these shoes! I wear a 9 1/2, I ordered a 40 and they were way too small. Exchanged them for a 41 and they are perfect! Zappos customer service was awesome and very helpful.

Love Birkenstock and love the Boston clogs. This is my second pair. 4 stars for the suede leather because it has a bit of a ragged appearance that slightly detracts from the overall appeal of the shoe. Also the suede requires more upkeep than the oiled leather of my other pair of Bostons. Great arch support, comfort, and shoe. I will buy more Birkenstocks and Bostons in the future.

I ordered the black suede soft footbed. I wear a 9 1/2 so I went with size 40 narrow. Long story short, my heel didn't fit in the heel cup like it should have, so I opted to exchange for a 41. Customer service was great! Got my exchange the next day and I'm a happy camper!! Can't wait to order a pair of sandals and another pair of Bostons!

Loved the color and the look, but not the feel and the fit. The leather of this shoe is very stiff and i have a high instep so it rubbed my foot raw in minutes . Wearing with socks might solve it, but if I have to do that I would rather get the shearling. So re-ordered the suede shearling . SO much more comfy.

For the price of this shoe it should be easier to wear from the begining not so hard on the feet to break in.Soft bed is not all that soft or cushy.

These shoes are great! I was able to tighten them with the buckle to make them fit more snugly. They are comfortable!

I really liked this shoe but it didn't stay put on my foot like the Arizona does--maybe because I could tighten the strap more on the Arizona. Any way, it's going back.

I ordered a 39N and a 40N since I wear a 8.5M or a 9N in most shoes. The 9 was the correct length, but even though the shoe was marked narrow, it was very wide on my forefoot. I cinched it up and buckled it at the narrowest setting, but that caused the snap on the other side of the strap that runs across the top of the foot to dig into the inside of my foot. Too wide, so they're going back. The footbed was quite comfy, but they were a bit clunky looking, as clogs can be, especially if flats.

I wear between a 10.5 and 11, and ordered these in 42 (11-11.5). They are the soft footbed. I ordered the narrow. They felt weirdly short, and my third toe was rubbing the front of the shoe. I couldn't feel much arch support but the front of the shoe felt raised and bumpy. Guess I need to stick to sandals!

I have the soft footbed Grenada and love them. Needed a house shoe for the winter and hoped this would work. Size 39N fit me perfectly but the upper suede was too loose on me making it hard to walk. I'm thinking it's loose due to unisex sizing - what is that about? Wish it came in a Women's size and it'd probably fit. Very well made and comfy - just too loose on the top of my foot. Back they go

Once upon a time, the suede uppers were thicker and would stand up on their own. Now they are thin and floppy, which makes slipping on the Bostons difficult and kind of takes away some of the purpose of clogs.
