The shoe is overall very comfortable ,feels a tad clunky for me at first but the soft footbed is very nice. I think the suede is a bit floppy and that is what makes the shoe not as stable on the foot as it could be,however the 39 fits size 8 perfectly . Nice product and support.

Size 38 is perfect for my 7.5 foot and same trusted comfort I always get from Birkenstock. I took one star off because they arrived looking worn and scuffed, not the shoes fault but whoever had them before me and returned them (is there quality control on returns?). I kept them because I don't have the time to return.

Ilove this German made brand...i am returning as I felt they were a 1/2 size too small...but i will be waiting for the next size up to arrive at Zappos..& I will then be ordering this model again!

This is my first pair of Birkenstocks and they are taking a little getting used to, but in a good way. Comfortable and easy on and off. They aren't the most attractive shoes, but I'm very casual anyway, so they fit right in with my rural lifestyle. Wish I'd tried them years ago.

Comfortable. Runs wide. I received this pair with marks on top of both shoes. Disappointed.

I am a Birkinstock fan. This was the first time that I tried the Soft Footbed and I found I much prefer the regular footbed. I am glad I tried them and a huge thank you to Zappos for easy returns and the ability to try something new. I am totally, completely hooked on Zappos.

Love these! Typical size for Birks, but one size smaller than other brands I wear. I have low arches so the soft footbed is so much better than the regular for me. I already wear them all the time!

The acorn leather feels like it’s taking a lot longer to break in than my Havana leather in the same size. It also seems more narrow. But the color is lovely, as is the feel of the leather. After a few weeks of built up wear I think it’s finally starting to break in enough to wear around the house for long periods.

Have terrible feet. Bunions, and hammer toes. These are great for the house and short walks. Comfortable.

I’m normally a 7-7.5 but with these the 6-6.5 fit perfect, so size down!

I'm so glad to have pair of these clogs again!!! It's been maybe 25 years since I've had a pair but they are just as comfortable as when I wore them as a young hippy at Dead shows. These feel a little wider than I remember. I do remember seeing a narrow option when I was ordering, but I wouldn't consider my feet narrow, especially after wearing flip flops so much the past few years. Also I saw these were marked as unisex, so maybe in the past I had ones that were considered women's? Also the leather suede material seems softer, as in floppy, which isn't a problem but I thought I remember that being more shaped to my foot in the past- these are soft so you sort of have to wiggle your foot into them if you want to put them on with no hands. Lastly, I was a little surprise they arrived in a plastic bag rather than a shoe box but it's not like I needed another shoe box to recycle.

I truly like them. They are comfortable and could be used for all sorts of occasions

I had a pair of these 25 years ago and loved them. So glad they offer the narrow width now because my original pair were VERY wide. I ordered the narrow and even in narrow, these shoes run wide (I normally wear a B width fwiw). Super comfortable. Not my favorite Birkenstock style but I love them all the same.

Love Birkenstock’s but a metal rivet covering near the instep came off. The shoes are still fine to wear but I’ve never had any other problems with any other Birkenstock shoe so I wanted to mention it.

Birkenstocks are my favorite shoes to wear when I am going to be on my feet a lot or have a lot of walking to do. They are generally great for both standing and walking, which is not always the case. I do prefer the classic footbed to the soft footbed, and I don't know that I would purchase another pair of Birks with the soft footbed, but like it better after some adjustment period. The suede on these is soft and a slightly greenish-navy.

Comfortable but made my feet look huge.....style really not for me so exchanging them for the Florida, soft footbed sandal

I am not as fond of the soft footbed as I am of the regular...but I do like the clogs, a lot!

Returned because big arch support area unnecessary. Not enough cushion. Somewhat slippery when walk on wood floor.

I love the looks of these and I know they would last forever, based on my previous Birks. However, for some reason the fit was off for me and I think it's because my second toe (next to my big toe) is longer than my big toe (too much information?) and that seems to throw the fit off in the toe area. At any rate, I am reluctantly sending these back.

I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered the 38. It was too big and the suede looked used and worn. I reordered in a 37 which fit perfectly and the suede looked new and beautiful!

This is a great shoe but unfortunately I had to return 3 pairs because each one had what looked like color loss on the top of the foot. I tried to brush it with a suede brush & a fabric sponge but neither helped. One pair that I received had 2 different colors & texture of suede. Birkenstock needs to have better quality control. This isn't Zappos fault.

I used to wear Birkenstock’s all the time but I damaged a tendon fitness walking and my orthopedist recommended Finn Comforts. They’re great and I have several pairs of the sandals and a few pairs of the clogs but they’re wide on me. I needed a better fit in clogs so I got a pair of Birkenstock’s. I normally wear a 40 narrow in the sandals but I had to go up to a 41 narrow in these clogs. They’re just a little bit big and I wish they were more narrow than they are but with thick socks and with the straps pulled tight I can wear them with jeans and around my house as slippers. They’re very comfortable and really cute. I’m hoping to go on short walks in them too.
