I bought these as my pregnancy third trimester go-to shoes when I could no longer easily reach my feet to tie my tennis shoes. Best decision ever! Not only do I love that I can easily slip them on and off, but my feet love the additional support through the arch right now that I typically wouldn't care too much about. So comfortable! I have a pair of Birkenstock sandals that are a narrow width; I love them as well and they fit like a glove. However, for this pair, knowing that I would wear them during winter with thick socks and swollen pregnant feet, the regular width in the same size feels perfect! I typically wear a size 7 1/2 or 8 and have these in a 39. This type of leather also seems like it will hold up well against the elements in the winter and clean up easily, versus the softer leather options. I highly recommend these to anyone, especially pregnant women!

When Birkenstock made these unisex, they became too sloppy on my feet. So disappointing! My old pair wore out, and I ordered these. I thought I had accidentally ordered men's.

I wear between a 10.5 and 11, and ordered these in 42 (11-11.5). They are the soft footbed. I ordered the narrow. They felt weirdly short, and my third toe was rubbing the front of the shoe. I couldn't feel much arch support but the front of the shoe felt raised and bumpy. Guess I need to stick to sandals!

A great, relaxed shoe, but definitely runs large.

The soft footbed is awesome, now I can wear my Boston's all day. I wish they had the soft footbeds years ago, truly comfortable.

I purchased these in the mocha suede size 41 narrow. I wear a size 11 and don't typically buy narrow but these fit perfectly. I've wanted these for a while and find the soft footbed so comfortable! The narrow really stays on my foot and they looked very cute with ripped jeans slightly cuffed-

loved the looks but since I wear a lg size it comes in mens so it was way to big.

I have the soft footbed Grenada and love them. Needed a house shoe for the winter and hoped this would work. Size 39N fit me perfectly but the upper suede was too loose on me making it hard to walk. I'm thinking it's loose due to unisex sizing - what is that about? Wish it came in a Women's size and it'd probably fit. Very well made and comfy - just too loose on the top of my foot. Back they go

Once upon a time, the suede uppers were thicker and would stand up on their own. Now they are thin and floppy, which makes slipping on the Bostons difficult and kind of takes away some of the purpose of clogs.

Great product; takes a while to get them broke in, but very worth the effort. Best of service from Zappos!

These are my first pair of Birks and they are pretty comfortable. I bought them to use as slippers or to run a quick errand. The problem I have is they run wide-and I bought narrows (I have narrow feet). If I wear them w/o socks, the shoe makes a suction noise where my arch is. I call it 'foot farts' lol. So I CAN'T wear them out of the house-I don't want people to hear that! But it bums me out because they're pretty comfortable-I wish I could wear them more. I'm hoping maybe they'll break in and the noise will go away. Otherwise these will be awfully expensive slippers. But if you have a wider foot, you'll be happy with these shoes. They provide great support and I love you can just slip them on.

Got the Habana oil leather soft bed in 35N My regular shoe size is 6M 35 N is perfect unless I would wear a thick sock (but I don't, being in Southern California). Got a pair of Arizona and liked it. Would like a close-toe pair, too Boston it is.

This is a Birkenstock Classic, but my feet are not. As I have gotten older, my feet need softer foot beds and more forgiving uppers. I will not be able to wear these long enough to soften them up. No fault of Zappo's or the maker and I'm really sorry they did not work out.

Ordering went without a hitch. Everything went well with no problems, from the ordering to the delivery. I have been wearing Birks and only Birks for about 50 years.

I have been a Zappos wearer for about 15 years. They are the best shoes I ever had. I have a hammer toe that can not be operated on and these shoes help to resolve my problem. I can always find a style to suit the occasion no matter what the season is.

It is the most comfortable shoes! Have been wearing them everyday since I got them. Great arch support. The soft footbed is really comfortable. It really helps with my back and knee problems.

Bought these as nice, supportive house shoes for my husband, who now works from home full time. He's finding them very comfortable and sturdy - much better than the flimsy slippers he was previously wearing! He did have to go up a size. He's a US size 11, and went with a 45.

When you choose your Birkenstock shoes, definitely get the soft footbed. The soft footbed is extremely comfortable. About size: I was fit for Birkentocks in Germany and even though I am a size 10, they measured me as a 45 with the soft footbed. You will see that the chart says this is 12 to 12.5, but my experience shows it to be equivalent to a men's size 10.

I love Birkenstock that is NO question. These are perfect with Khakis & what I need them for. I had a soft bed sandal that I just wasn't fond of & donated them. The softbed in the shoe or the slide such as the Boston is just PERFECT in my opinion...LOVE THESE!

Love these! I try not to wear anything else! It takes a few days to break them in just have patience. They will seem tight etc. but you will be rewarded in a day or two!

I had to size down one length. I wasn't sure I was going to keep them, as the style is very different from anything I've owned and they're kind of expensive for a shoe to schlep around the house, but wearing them while standing and doing dishes the other night, I noticed how comfortable they felt, like wow, I'm not sure I've ever had a show this comfortable. So, I kept them.

I have many pairs of Birkenstocks, sandals and clogs. I have been looking at this oiled leather clog for awhile and finally purchased it. My usual size is a 38, but I had to send them back for the 39 Narrow. The 38 was o.k. but having the soft footbed must have made a slight difference, because I didn't feel I had ample room for a pair of heavy socks that I need in cold weather. The red oiled leather is very nice. I still miss my favorite "Bern" style, that had the look of a more feminine maryjane. Still my favorite pair...but such is life. This pair is very pretty.

Egad! Rather more like clouds than shoes. I hate wearing shoes and I never take these off even in the house! I have had my first pair for the last year and have worn them every day weather at work, at home, on vacation, hiking, riding bikes, I just don't want to wear anything else. They have started to get pretty worn down and I am about due to either get them repaired or just get a new pair. Just the best shoes I have ever had. Do go and get these, friend, and you'll not regret it!

I purchased these to wear as house shoes because I keep wearing holes in the felted wool slippers I usually buy. For obvious reasons, I need to wear socks for warmth, but these are the expected quality of Birkenstocks. The sole is actually a bit cushioned which makes them extra comfortable, I love the color, and I think these might last my lifetime! I have fairly narrow feet and the narrow is just fine with or without socks.
