I have Morton Neuroma in both of my feet and have issues finding shoes that are wide enough/don’t squeeze the front of my feet-these are perfect plus have great arch support. 100% recommended.

These shoes fit me perfect. I haven’t worn them that long because it’s winter here, but the time I’ve worn them they have been extremely comfortable. I wear 7 1/2 in nike & adidas tennis shoes and I ordered a 38. I ordered the taupe suede and I feel the color goes perfect with every outfit. I will be ordering the sandals this summer (from Zappos of course because the customer service & shipping is the best!!)?

I love them, they were exactly as described. I wear a Narrow shoe & was so excited to find these Birkenstocks in an 8N!! PERFECT!

I bought these Birkenstocks twice and had to return them both times because the suede is "damaged". There were areas on the top of the shoe where the suede was a different color than the rest of the shoe. It is because of the suede though, not the dye used to make the suede black. I have owned these specific Birkenstocks in the past and I love them but something has happened with Birkenstock's manufacturing because there is a problem with the suede they are using.

I love the new color - a rich, dark navy, but this Boston clog was extremely lose around the foot. Even with sock on, I felt like I had to struggle to keep the clog on my foot. Even with the buckle on it’s smallest notch, I couldn’t walk comfortably knowing the shoe would stay on. Unfortunately they had to be returned.

This is the second style of Birkenstock that I own. I spent the summer months on my Mayari birks and found them the best supportive sandal ever! I wanted a style for winter that I could use with socks (only while at home, LOL) The boston delivered. The soft suede needed no time to break in. The taupe color is a very nice neutral. It does have a little bit of greenish gray on it. Is not as beige as shown in the picture. They have become my house sleeper and the shoes that I use driving for carpool. In terms of looks, they are not as cute as the Mayari, but my feet are warm and happy during the winter.

I love the looks of these and I know they would last forever, based on my previous Birks. However, for some reason the fit was off for me and I think it's because my second toe (next to my big toe) is longer than my big toe (too much information?) and that seems to throw the fit off in the toe area. At any rate, I am reluctantly sending these back.

Ordered my regular Birkenstock size (my other Birks are Arizona) and they fit perfect. Needed a comfortable real shoe to wear in the house and these give me the support I need while feeling like slippers. Bonus that I don't have to change into shoes when I go out with the dog :)

I always love Birkenstocks and find them to be very comfortable. I have only ever bought the open toe sandals before and this was the first pair that is closed toe. I felt like my regular size in this shoe had my toes bumping at the front and the next size up had my heel about 3/4 of an inch from the edge - i.e. they looked too big and I worry that when walking they may slip off. I ended up keeping the smaller size (the same size that I always wear in Birkenstocks) and hoping that the suede will stretch a bit.

Excellent! I am a first time Birkenstock owner, but I wanted a classic clog that would be easy on/off for the winter and provide some support. These are MORE than I hoped! I feel like I’m standing in a cloud (odd I know) anytime I’m standing in them. The arch support and the way they cradle my heels is amazing. They’ve been great for my 15 minute walk to the train and my commute on the train (sometimes standing the whole way). Took a little breaking in with my right foot - the leather wasn’t super flexible and it just felt hard over the top of my right (slightly bigger) foot.

I ordered two different sizes since I wasn't sure which size I needed. I was surprised to see that the suede of one pair appeared scuffed, the other pair was pristine. I am returning the scuffed pair, which turned out not to be the correct size for me anyway. I will continue to be a Birkenstock fan -- but I would like my Birks to look new, at least for a little while.

I usually wear a 38 but needed 39 in this shoe. The suede version is not as sturdy as the leather version and does not feel like it would hold up as well. It takes a while to break them in but they feel great now. If your are between sizes I,d size up.

Received a pair as a Christmas gift. Due to poor packaging inside the box, the suede was badly scuffed on top of the foot area. I exchanged for another paid from Zappos and SAME issue. Same scuff in the same place. Upon calling Zappos I asked if they could physically inspect the next pair, but they said they can not, so I just returned. I have a pair of these that are TEN years old that have NO scuff marks on the suede after such heavy use that my sock LITERALLY gets wet if I walk on something wet. The fact that these arrive so scuffed tells me they've made their shoes lesser quality these days. I'm not sure I'm still going to be a Birkenstock OR Zappos customer. This has been a disappointing experience to say the least, given what these shoes cost (and that I'm not the only one on these reviews complaining about the suede being scuffed upon arrival).

I bought this to take care of my Birkenstocks. I haven't used it yet, but theya re too expensive to not care for properly. $18 is really nothing.

I would definitely buy the narrow if you have medium feet. I teach and the price is worth every penny. I have not regretted my purchase at all.

this is my 3rd pair of birkenstocks - but my first soft footbed. love it! and no compromise on arch support -still excellent!

They call these "SOFT"???? The footbed of this shoe is as hard as a rock. As soon as I stood up with them on, I sat down and took them off. I sent them back for a refund today.

Arrived in poor condition. No paper used to support inside of shoe, so top was collapsed and rubbed the top of my foot. Glue? or something messy was on the top of the left shoe. I am unsure about the size...I have a narrowish foot yet one of the toes on my smaller foot rubbed on the foot bed. I am going to reorder 2 more pairs and try again. I want to like these. I have bad feet; surgically repaired plantar fasciitis, high arches and I wear orthotics. If I find the right shoe type and foot bed I can wear a shoe all day without issues. The Birk's are definitely a stiff foot bed. Reviews stated they break in after a week. I like Taos sandals, so I tried the clogs and they were uncomfortable.

I wear a 7 1/2 and ordered the 38. It was too big and the suede looked used and worn. I reordered in a 37 which fit perfectly and the suede looked new and beautiful!

I bought these shoes in a pinch for work and didn’t expect to love them, but I do. I’m a true size 7 and have a wide foot so comfortable pumps can be a challenging find. These are very comfortable and also look sleek and professional. Highly recommend!

I’m a true women’s size 7, and like all Birkenstock’s, I wear a size 36 perfectly. Love the soft footbed on this style and like that it doesn’t rub my arch like the regular footbed. This is my favorite pair of birks so far.

I always wear a size 6.5 M in any shoe. I bought the Birkenstock Boston in a 37 N and the fit was perfect.

The shoes were great until day 5 when the rivet holding the strap broke! Zappos was great on the return/exchange.

These are my husbands go-to sandals. He has had numerous pairs and will continue to order them as they are perfect for his wide feet.
