WONDERFUL SUMMER SHOE - This shoe is so incredibly comfortable and stylish at the same time. I have received many compliments since starting to wear them. I have them in two colors and probably will buy more.

Chic Comfort. These sandals are very flattering on the foot. Sleek skinny straps with delicate sparking buckles make them styling. Comfortable Mephisto footbed. Even cuter on than the photo can display. When you want to go up a notch from casual but don't want to give up comfort, this is the sandal for you. I take a US 8.5 and in general a euro 39. Euro 39 in this sandal was perfect.

Cute and Comfortable - I bought the Sydel in black patent last year and just love it. I ordered the nubuck dark taupe and the patent spice this year. It's still too cold for sandals so I haven't worn them yet. I'm not to sure about the patent spice, the leather is rather stiff not like my black patent ones, which are much softer. I may not keep the spice patent but with Zappos fantastic return policy there is never a problem, Overall the Sydel is very comfortable and fits my hard to fit foot!

The best sandal ever – I have problems with my feet, mainly painful bunions. It was always very hard to find a sandal that looked good, I always seemed to find comfort (my first priority). When I found this sandal (while on vacation) I bought it in the white patent. The comfort level was incredible, you couldn’t see the bunions, and they looked great with skirts. I have since bought then in black, gray, red, gold, silver, and brown. They look great with skirts, jeans, whatever and they feel great!

This is my second pair of Sydels, they are extremely comfortable with good support for my high arched, wideish foot. Need to order a full size larger than usual.

The BEST summer shoe ever! My niece encouraged me to buy the silver Sydel (complete with rhinestone buckles) and I've never had a moment of regret. I purchased them in May and hardly had them off my feet all summer. I have terrible feet and need serious cushioning in the ball of the foot. This shoe is perfect.

Perfect - These sandals are extremely comfortable. I own a lot of Mephisto shoes and sandals and these feel like not wearing shoes at all on the top but with a pillow under the foot. Great great shoe.

Love the Bling! These are great! Comfy, not as clunky as Birkenstocks, great color (blue.) Everyone wants a pair.

These are my first pair of Mephisto's and they look SO cute on! I chose the black patent, and I wear a sparkly ankle-chain to match. Dress-up or dress-down.

A comfortable alternative for a dressy shoe - I wore my black patent Sydel sandals to a wedding and I was comfortable for the entire evening. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot and I broke my back several years ago, making it impossible for me to wear high heel shoes. This sandal was a great substitute. With the rhinestone buckle they are dressy enough for any event that I attend. These sandals are also great with casual clothes. I recently purchased the silver Rydels from Zappos.com. I wore them to a party last night and I received lots of compliments. What a comfortable, versatile sandal!

A Little Pricey, But Worth It - I bought these shoes because I liked the look (I bought them in gold) and also because I had heard they were very comfortable, which is true. I have flat feet and need to wear shoes with good arch support, and these fit the bill. They stay on my feet very well and feel great. They are also very attractive with the gold leather and rhinestones.

Pretty, cool, and comfortable but the straps do not keep the sandal on very well. Going back.

Cute, but have to go back. Mephisto seems to run short; the size 42 isn't quite long enough for my size 11 feet. Sad; I really wanted these sandals to work.

Definitely a whole size too small. I normally wear a 9 1/2 or 10 depending on the shoe. I purchased a 10 in this style and it was definitely a size too small! I should have ordered an 11 (a size which I have never worn). The silver is a bit too shiny but they are cute shoes and seemed very comfortable. Just be sure to order a size up!

I have four pair of these now. I actually discovered them via my MIL. These sandals look great on twenty-somethings like me or sixty-somethings like my MIL. The only downside is that the soles wear out very quickly. I get about 1/2 a season of wear from them. The Mephisto Hannel is another favorite of mine, and it wears longer.

Most comfortable shoe ever - I love this shoe, I have it in two colors and due to severe tendonitis in my feet, it's the only shoe I can wear consistently without pain. Mephisto has changed its foot bed in the newer styles and I do wish they'd make more shoes with this foot bed. They also seem to have discontinued the "spice" color which is unfortunate. I've recently bought two more pairs because I'm afraid they may do away with the style all-together. I would LIVE in this shoe if I could.

Silver Sydel - I love the feel and look of these shoes; I do get A LOT of compliments. They are extremely comfortable and I have feet that hurt - they don't hurt in these and I can wear them all day. My only complaint is after wearing them for only a couple of months the silver is worn off in many places. For the price of the shoe I think the color should hold up much better than it does. Otherwise great shoe and I may order them in black for next summer and see how that holds up compared to the silver. I also take very good care of my shoes as I usually buy expensive ones and so I am pretty disappointed in the silver wearing off.

I like the look of the silver sandal with anything casual. I can't wear the shoe longer than four hours or my toes start rubbing on the first strap. A FUN shoe!

Loved the look of this shoe in blue. Not as comfortable as a Birkenstock. Did return this because they kept slipping off my feet.

Get the subtle sparkle that makes for special occasion shoes - This sandal says "look at me." It is very comfortable and a sandal that you can take out to a party and get noticed. Why do you need those spiked heels when you can get it all in comfort and class!

Great looking but a little snug over my arch - I love wearing these shoes. The width is perfect. My only problem is that the arch strap is a little snug and cuts into my foot a bit. Not a perfect fit, but close enough for short wearing.

Uh oh... The BEST foot beds, BUT the straps consistently rub and leave blisters. I wish the Helen’s had these foot beds instead of cork. The foam mousse is wonderful...

These are very cute and comfortable sandals that I wish had worked for me. Unfortunately, the soles are a little too flat for me. I tend to trip easily and the fact that the front of these shoes does not curl up makes it too easy for them to get caught on any uneven pavement. Unfortunately, I have to return.
