Gorgeous and comfortable! I had fractured my ankle 6 months ago and can no longer wear cute little strappy sandals w/ heels. Well, these sandals are as cute as the ones I used to wear but are as comfortable and cushiony as the ones too ugly to wear in the past. They are adorable and so incredibly comfy. I have 4 pairs!!!

Mephisto Sydel - It is pricey but worth the cash. I have ordered this sandal in white patent. It is a beautiful and comfortable sandal. I got a lot of stares from people. It is the most comfy sandal I ever own.

Great, stylish, comfortable! I walked 10 miles in Paris and feet felt as though I had not walked at all!

Love them! Complete strangers compliment me on these. And as for comfort and arch support, they're unparalleled. Mine are apple green nubuck, so my only complaint is that they became grimy after a couple of weeks.

Susan's Shoe Review - After my husband bought me this beautiful shoe in pink at a local department store, I found that my usual size 10 was not sufficient. The department store did not carry this (or any other) shoe in anything larger than a size 10. Since I really loved this shoe and it was a present from my husband, I looked on the internet. I found Zappos and was thrilled to find sizes over 10, also the reviews of this shoe helped me decide whether to order it, finding that other consumers found they needed to purchase this same shoe a size larger than usual. The shoe is beautiful, foot bed is soft and they are dress casual. The shoe still could be slightly larger. I kept the size 11 I ordered that a size 12 would be too large. I have worn them only once so far and love them. The only draw back would be the fit. I do adore the rhinestone accents! I have looked everywhere for a comfortable, beautiful, stylish shoe with glittery rhinestones. As they say in the card game Fish, "I got what I wanted!!"

Casual metallic shoe - First pair of Mephisto shoes. Wanted a casual comfort shoe with some style. Was expecting 5 stars all the way around.

Good looking shoe but does not fit true to size - I ordered this shoe for a "dressier" sandal. I liked the look of the shoe but when I put the shoes on they did not fit; I ordered my normal size. I think that you should order up a size.

This is a beautiful shoe and worth the money if it fits your foot. I have an exceptionally high arch so it doesn't work for me.

I have this sandal in black patent and silver. I plan to order the brown as well and if it were offered in other colors, I'd probably buy those too. They fit true to size. Although I like the comfort of cork footbeds, I don't care for the casual look of cork, which is why I love these sandals (aside from the comfort factor!)...the footbed is covered in beautiful smooth black suede! I'd buy other Mephisto styles if they had the same black footbed (Mephisto, I hope you're paying attention...listen up!) These sandals are expensive, but that's because they are made in France rather than China or Indonesia where everything seems to be these days. I'm happy to pay more for products that aren't made where labor is cheap and working conditions are deplorable...but I digress! Buy these sandals...you'll be glad you did!

I really love this Mephisto Sydel. It's comfy and adds just the right amount of kick to any outfit. I'm not a very glitzy gal and this is just enough. Not really silver but almost a shiny charcoal color with texture...cool!

I am now on my second pair. I must have walked more than 150 mile in my first pair in my travels. Up rocky hills, city cobblestones, out to dinner - they go everywhere. No slip, great support. My feet never got sore, even after nine or ten miles! My first pair were going strong still, but through all the rough terrain I lost some of the rhinestones and I'd actually worn through the surface of the shoe under my foot. I wear these every single day in my home too. Best shoes I've ever had, bar none!

I purchased these to replace a similar style I had (Naot) which 'died' after some years. LOVE these - very comfortable and a much better supporting footbed.

I am on my feet all day on hard stone floors. I need comfort and style, this was the perfect option for summer. No break in time, comfort style and compliments, worth the money.

Absolutely love these shoes! I bought a pair in silver and in gold in 2008 and wear either nearly everyday since in Tennessee sandal weather. So happy they started making this style again. Usually wear 9 and a half, but these need to be size 10.

These are the best sandals -- I have them in several colors. The ability to adjust the straps over the toes & instep make them a great sandal for all foot types. They also look very feminine with their rhinestone buckles.

I am on my third pair of these adorable sandals in about six years, and always keep an extra new pair in reserve because they are my go-to sandals for summer wear. They are undoubtedly the most comfortable sandals that I have ever owned, including during the period when I was being treat for a neuroma and these were the only shoes I could wear without pain. They fit my wide feet well, and the decorative straps can be adjusted for a perfect fit. I get compliments on them almost every time I wear them, since the sparkly rhinestone buckles add an unexpected dressiness to an otherwise flat and somewhat orthopedic -looking sandal. I normally wear a shoe size 5 to 5½, and the 35 Sydel fits me like a glove. These are well worth the rather high cost!

Love this shoe! I was recently diagnosed with Plantar Fasciitis and this shoe is really comfortable and stylish. I love Zappos.

I have had 4 pairs of these. I wear them all year round. I've hiked in them. When I put on other shoes, I soon kick them off and go back to my Sydels. They feel like part of my foot. The perfect shoe. And they are beautiful too! Classic. Timeless.

I was looking for a comfortable sandal with arch support to wear with dresses and skirts (shorts are easier to match). I tried quite a few sandals: Naot (not dressy enough or too much heel), Orthaheel (too wide, too much arch support or not leather). I ended up keeping these simply because they are flats (no heel), the lining is soft, they have arch support and they are dressy enough. At first the leather was stiff--I almost returned them. But after wearing them the first time for about an hour, it softened up and it is not an issue anymore. Both straps are adjustable, which is good because I have a narrow foot.

I just bought these last week and love, love, love them! They allow me to walk in style in a sandal again!!! I have had plantar fasciitis for the last two to three years in my right heel and I have had no pain since I started wearing these shoes this week! Thank you Mephisto!!! I used to wear the slide wedge version many years ago and loved those.

Just a little glitzy! I enjoy wearing these sandals because they can be casual or dressy. They have wonderfully delicate rhinestone buckles. They have the comfortable Mephisto's fit that makes it easy to wear these sandals all day everyday if I wanted. I can easily recommend these delightful shoes to all.

Is it sick to love a shoe? I LOVE THIS SHOE! There, I said it. Seriously, best feeling shoes I've worn in my entire life. And they are cute too! I own this shoe in 3 colors...black, red, silver. I get TONS of compliments whenever I wear them. I wish Mephisto made other non-sandal shoes using this same exact last. If they did, I'd buy even more of their shoes!

At last... After searching, ordering, trying a multitude of comfortable walking shoes with no success, I tried Zappos and found this pair of Mephisto. At last a wonderful walking shoe that actually fits! The shoes are medium but the adjustable straps fit my narrow foot. It was comfortable the moment I slipped it on and for 12 days in Italy... day and night. The perfect shoe!
