Frye Belted Harness Mule - Thanks to others reviews, I ordered a half size down. They fit perfectly and they need no breaking in time. I wore them on an all day shopping trip the day after I received them and they were so comfortable. I wear them everyday!!! Another great shoe from Frye.

Fabulous- I was concerned about breaking them in because I have bunions but having the famous Frye quality I was able wear them right out of the box with thin socks and shop for several hours with NO problem! Must try them for yourself!

I love this boot- I love the fit, style and comfort of the Frye boot. Quality all the way. The harness style boot has always been my favorite even back in my younger days.

Made to Mosey- These are terrific all-purpose, butt-kicking mules. The cool, slightly tough-girl look of Frye boots without the putting-them-on-and-taking-them-off struggle. Although they feel VERY heavy in your hand, on the foot they're comfy. I found the fit is true, but you may want to wear a substantial sock with them for added fit.

Belted Harness Mule - Great shoes. Have the boots in two colors so had to have the mules. True to size, comfortable, wore them shopping for hours right out of the box! They live up to Frye's excellent standards of quality and Zappos has the best price around.

One cool mule- These mules are about as cool as it gets. They feel about as great as they look. If you wore Frye’s before, you will be used to how they walk. I just love them! I spent hours in them shopping and they still felt comfortable. And I have spurs in my 50-year-old feet. They have the perfect height in the heel and the quality of the workmanship is exceptional. I forgot how good a boot Frye makes. And then there is the style... Ah.

strut your stuff....... These mules are awesome! I'm from the Frye Boot era and so putting these on was like going back in time! They are sturdy, comfortable and have a great attitude! I was thrilled with the great customer service this site offers. I ordered my first pair a half size smaller because the reviews said they ran large.....they were wrong in my case......I reordered in my normal size and they were at my door shortly thereafter!

WOW!!!! two thumbs and ten toes up! I don't think I've ever been this impressed with a shoe right out of the box. I've been wearing them all day! I just love them. Extremely comfortable! These feel completely natural on my feet. No pinch, no pressure anywhere, no stickiness even without socks, and they look fabulous. I have a pair of Frye 8-R Harness boots in black, for riding, which are beautiful and great quality and a pleasure to wear, but aren't anywhere near as comfortable or form-fitting as these mules. I also usually have trouble with any shoe without a back slipping off my feet, but these stay on like they are part of my foot. I could not be more pleased. and, they arrived overnight with no special shipping on my part, thanks to Zappos usually top-notch service.

Really cool shoes! These "clogs" look so rich and well made. They are going to keep my tootsies warm in the fall and winter.

Worth my dollars. First, this shoe is well constructed. Second, it's roomy, yet narrow across the toe. I will need to break-in these babies. These are not for work because they are heavy. I wear a 7 in Frye's and I ordered a 7 1/2, to ensure that my heel wouldn't hang over. No chance of that. 7 1/2 was too large, ordered 7. Nice comfortable fit. I really wanted the chestnut color, but I ordered what was available in my size as these shoes are hard to get! Couldn't really decide if I found them attractive, decided with slacks on they looked cool and they look like boots. It's kind of fun knowing that it's a mule with the silver hardware. I'm feeling like I'll indulge myself with the chestnut shade. These mules/clogs are well worth the money.

worth every cent... These are great shoes. They are worth every cent. I do have to mention that I wear a size 8 1/2 or 9 in other shoes but size 7 1/2 in these shoes. Zappos.com sent them in 2 days and make it easy to return if needed.

One serious shoe - Frye rocks !! Fit me true to size. These are substantial shoes and extremely well made. Just what you would expect from Frye. Taken care of properly, any Frye product should last for years. Zappos is simply the best. Best service and fastest shipping anywhere on earth. Thank you again !!

Heavy, but comfy and good looking - These look great and they feel well made. They feel good on, but they are pretty heavy, so I'm not sure they would work for all-day wear. For going out though, they make you feel like kicking some.

Great look but - Love the look of these shoes, and immediately comfortable - but only for limited walking and standing. Unfortunately, in a period where I was on my first a lot, I ended up with bad foot pain. Usually I just wear danskos, and thought these were similar. I love how they look though. So recommend with caution.

Excellent shoe! Very comfy and stylish. Never thought the shoe would stand up for it's price -- but it did! I received alot of compliments and glad that I bought it.

RE: Frye's Belted Harness Mule - I just got my harness boots yesterday and I LOVE THESE BOOTS!!! They are so awesome. Very high quality and tough! I wore them all day yesterday and they are very comfortable. I got mine in Chestnut and it's a very good color...goes with everything! :)

High quality and very cool - I just bought my second pair in a different color. These boots are so cool! The quality is excellent and I feel like I invested in a product I'll own for a long time. They work well with both casual feminine and sporty clothes. Wet weather has not damaged them. My only complaint is that the back strap slid down to almost the bottom of the heel, even when I thought it was tight enough where it wouldn't. By making sure it rests justs above the back of the shoe has prevented this from happening, but it's still something I have to think about.

Best of both worlds - I really love them. They are the best of both worlds. They have the look and the solid classic design of the Frye Harness boot, but in easy slip on form. They can be worn all seasons, which cannot be done with the full boot in the warm months. They look good with Office attire such as dress pants but look great with jeans as well. They give the appearance of a full boot without the inconvenience of the pull on, pull off routine, you only have to step into them. They don't overheat your feet indoors,didn't think I would wear them with office attire, purchased them to wear with jeans, but the classic style and fit go both ways.

Love these shoes - These are fantastic shoes. I wear a 9, yet my feet look small in these. They are extremely comfortable. They aren't light weight, so if you need light shoes, these aren't it. But they are easy to walk in. If we ever get rid of the snow and ice here in Maine, I'll wear them outdoors!

You have got to buy them.. Love these shoes... Just wish I had gotten them a 1/2 size smaller. I have to wear thick socks with them.I think a smaller size would have been much more comfortable and they would have molded to my feet. They kind of flop around now.

You get what you pay for and more! I was hesitant to pay so much for a mule, but the quality was worth it. I thought the weight would be a problem, but they wear beautifully and were comfortable from the first day's wear. I love the rustic leather in the Tan Crazy Horse color (which is really a matt brown color). I tried this mule on at a local store and found out that they ran a half size large so I knew to order down a half size. Also, for women that have trouble wearing boots due to a heavier leg, but still want the look of a full boot, this is a great alternative. You can't beat Zappos for overall customer satisfaction.

little country-little rock n' roll - the best of everything-fit, comfort, quality, and style. While they are easy to pair-up with casual because of the elongated front they look great with dress pants. Am always complimented whenever I wear them.

ShoeHorse - I absolutely love my Frye Mules!! Thanks to the reviews and postings of the shoe, I knew to order a half size smaller which worked out perfectly for me. Also, be aware these shoes are kinda heavy and require getting used to; so be sure to allow some time to break them in before you go out to kick up your heels. If you're considering purchasing these mule/boots, wait no longer and take the plunge! You'll be happy you did. And there is NO better place to buy than Zappos ... completely professional, courteous and FAST!!! I'm a very satisfied customer!

Too small in both length and width and left heel feels lopsided. Really cute though!
