Frye Belted harness Mule - Super comfortable, I usually wear a 7.5 and I ordered down half a size and the 7 is perfect. I work with someone who also wears a 7.5 and who has a high instep/arch and she fit the 7.5 better. No break in time. Very pleased, they look great and fit perfectly.

Great Shoe - These are great casual clogs. I have been wearing them right through the winter & receive lots of compliments. They seemed pricey but worth every penny...and Zappos is the best - I had then in less than 24 hours!!

What a hit! Great look and fit with light socks. Comfy alternative to a bulky boot. Timeless classic. Superb craftsmanship!

My Favorite Tough Shoes - I always wanted Frye boots, and these clogs were the perfect version. Wish they had a little more arch support and heel cushioning. They are thick leather, so will take some breaking in, but the look is worth it.

Cool mule - Very comfortable, durable shoe. Nice alternative to boots and more convenient.

Just like a boot. This shoe, mule, clog or shoe-bootie, whatever you want to call it is extremely comfortable and true to size while it conforms to your own foot--so typical of the Frye Boot of which I own several pair. This mule looks great with a pair of jeans and no one would realize you're not in a boot until your pant leg is raised. I love the mule; it's as solid as its namesake!

These take me back to the 70s (a good thing) Hi -- I love these, a heavy mule that can stand up to anything, probably would not look great with dressier fare unless you're going for a mix. Very comfortable, easy on and off, and the great look I remember from my Frye boots back in the day. I'd highly recommend them! Love them.

Classic Frye - Requires very little break-in for a Frye. Easy when you don't want to take the time to put on a boot. A great shoe!

Frye Harness Mule - This looks great with jeans, but it's definitely a chunky-feeling boot. It's solid & heavy, not the boot to hang around in indoors; however, if you're out for the day & need a solid boot to protect you, these are the ones. Great looking with jeans. Order a half size down.

This boot/mule has stretched out a bit in the one month I've owned it. I ended up purchasing a half size down from my normal size (7 instead of 7 1/2) and now I wish I'd bought a 6 1/2. That said I love the look without the hassle of putting on a boot. They are a bit heavy and clunky (and make a lot of noise going up & down stairs) but that's part of the look.

Love, love love this kick-a** shoe! Nice balance for when I don't want to wear my full-length harness boot. Definitely gives a swagger to my walk --- and looks great! Definitely followed other advice about getting a half size smaller than I wear (I wear a 10 and I bought a 9 1/2).

Great but there are a few size issues - I adore the look of these and bought them in this color and in black. The insides are buttery and comfortable without socks, the cushioning is decent, and the balance is such that they are great for prolonged standing. As others have noted, however, they do run a little long and are slightly narrower than a true "medium." I wear 7.5 to 8 depending on the shoe, and due to the other reviews ordered them in the 7.5, which is more than long enough. But, they still pinch slightly in a couple places (one pair pinches the little toe, and the other pair has one shoe that is narrower across the ball of the foot) so I may get them stretched if they don't ease out on their own. Still, they are exactly what I've been looking for -- I can now give away about 6 other pairs of clogs etc. I won't be needing!

Subtly Sexy and Super Comfortable - These shoes do run 1/2 size large; however, with socks they are perfect. I plan to buy all the colors, plus other styles. They are very comfortable right from the start. Dress them up or down, you cannot go wrong. I LOVE the Frye.

Cool shoes - These are the coolest mules I have owned and I constantly receive compliments on them. They are most comfortable with thin socks. They seem a little tight in the toes.

Fry Mule - I LOVE this shoe, really comfortable. Look of a boot without the hassle, esp when traveling.

Superb boot style Mule gets LOTS of Attention! This is a very comfortable fit-- and my feet are not easy to please! The 8 1/2 size fits my foot very nicely. The slightly snug spots are stretching as the leather is broken in. I get tons of compliments on this shoe. Wore it to the airport and it was easy through security! What could be better? A for real live spotted gaited mule?! ~!~

Harness mule - I recently purchased the Harness Mule & love its look. I do find that it is a bit clunky and heavy, I'm not used to the feel of the Frye boot. The fit was perfect & it is very easy to slip on & off to run out the door! Great customer service from Zappos.

My Frye Mules - I love these shoes; they are like having boots without the confining uppers.

Satisfied Customer - This shoe is great, even though it feels slightly loose on the instep. Nothing a thicker pair of socks can't fix. I am impressed with the quality of the leather and the workmanship. I love the rich chestnut color with the cowboy style boot look. I wish I could order another pair in black then I would go for a half size smaller.

Frye Harness Mule - Unlike most of the reviews I was disappointed. I ordered a half size down and they were still too large and wide. I also found them extremely heavy and clunky to walk in. I wanted to buy USA made shoes but these just didn't work for me.

Love them - I too followed the advice of a few reviewers and ordered a half size smaller than my normal size. I have a narrow foot, though. They fit perfectly, so if you have a wider foot you may want to stick with your true size. Otherwise the look and quality are great.

I wear them every day - I got these about 3 weeks ago, put them on without socks, and have worn them every day since. No blisters, no rubbing, no hot spots. Very comfy. Terrific look.

Finally got a pair! And I'm not disappointed. I ordered my usual size, an 8.5, and they were perfect right out of the box. The color and texture of the leather is beautiful, and they are sturdy and good looking. Very comfortable from the second I put them on. And the Zappos service? Unbeatable! I ordered them Monday night and received them first thing Wed. morning. Thank you, Zappos!!!
